If you take away the player after banning a person, you're just punishing the team at that point. I think playing the season is a fair compromise.

Yeah I get that reasoning, I just don't really agree with it. Most bannings don't come out of nowhere, teams usually know what they are getting themselves into either by acquiring a problematic player or by not doing enough to curb his antics when he is already on the team. Hell often times they get these players for cheap precisely because of these issues. If a team isn't really interested in changing that persons behaviour or not able to then they don't deserve any extra sympathy from the league as far as I'm concerned - in fact, they might've even encouraged that person and sent the signal that he was doing was okay by putting up with him for so long.

There could be cases where you draft someone unknowing of the fact they're the equivalent of human feces, and then no one wants to trade to get them off your team, but you can't drop them because their player is beneficial to the club even if the member isn't. You try to tell them to chill out, but at the end of the day you're not their mother so they choose not to listen. Player gets banned and you want the team to still be punished? Some times your hands are just tied.

I completely see your point. However, especially in this case, all public posts by STL members were encouraging him to continue posting the way he did. They knew what they were getting with Rush, and they egged him on. Given that he was maybe 180 tpe, I'm pretty sure STL could pick up an IFA with more and move on. I've also heard a rumor that STL has asked to be compensated a late draft pick for how this went down, if that's true it's absolutely fucking ridiculous.

I'm gonna get shit for this and honestly, I'm prepared for it. I just want to say that relentless contradictory and counterproductive memes produce people like Rush and other trolls who genuinely believe in what they're saying. We're living in a post-ironic world where no one ever truly knows who is actually a shit person and who's just fucking around and sometimes those people who are just fucking around create cover for those who are genuinely shit people.

So to anyone who's tryna start the "#JusticeForRush" meme: Stop. All you're doing is making it worse.

"Free Speech" is about the freedom to express your own ideas, not to detract from others' own expressions.

But if you genuinely believe that the HO is being a horrible dictatorship and Rush was framed, I'll just point at the evidence.
He fuckin DDOS'd a sim league site. That's a pitiful act of someone who needs professional help.

i will nevver stop meming

I'm not asking you to stop memeing. I'm asking that you use your power of the meme for good.

Let's be clear here, this was all me. I started everything, and when I caught a whiff of salt after my first ribbing article I took it to the next level and he fell apart. Could I have avoided bullying him entirely? Sure, but no level headed person would let such a gentle ribbing get to them that badly.

Although everyone was pretty sure he ddosed the site the first time for his ban so I guess only one thing could have happened.

Anyway, I needed the media money. Hey on that subject, could I get paid for that media piece @Rush wrote about me fucking farm animals? I feel like I at least collaborated on that.

I'm just trying to convey that most of your opinions of STL are tied to me as an individual.
