I've never contacted this kid in my life, not once, Boon hasn't either. Neither of us have contacted him. Maybe it was a player, I'm not denying that, truly, I'm not, that could very well have happened.
But the truth is a rule hasn't been broken, just some morals if that's what happened, and Secord, I promise you, and everyone in the SHL that if I contacted this player personally I would own up to it. Because as you said I did not break a rule, but in all honesty I didn't!

Well since all you guys are blasting the chiefs I took a look to see if anything fishy was going on. No emails or pms were sent through this site to him at all by anyone. Could someone know him in real life sure could but thats fine as well it was within the rules.

That's the problem right there. When Expansion was first announced and the planning of the Expansion Draft started, I was one of the guys lobbying for a stricter definition of active. I proposed a completely different (protection-based) system that would've given the Expansion teams some more decent players, without really hurting the existing teams. But the league chose a different path and went with the system we have right now, which they have all the right to do, but I think back then a lot of people already saw a situation like that one coming. And in this case we got lucky, Hansel meets all the criteria for an active player because this criteria is just way too weak. But we aren't the only team, look at the active the Rage put up for example. He did his last update in July (he only has 2 Updates too) and his last login was more than a week ago. Or look at the guy from Las Vegas who conveniently did his first update in almost 2 months just two days before the draft. If guys like them count as active it's a sign that the rules didn't work properly, but the teams didn't do anything wrong.
