It would be one of my articles without some graphs and stuff for people to look at. So this is the histogram of the TPE in the SHL. You can see that there is a lot of people in 600-700 range, which I would assume is the 3rd line plugs, but also the newest people going into the SHL from the Latest Reddit draft. Hopefully in a couple seasons, that big graph shifts to the 900 range. What is interesting is that there isnt anyone in 2000 TPE anymore(but there will be more as people get back to it after getting regressed). There isnt a ton of people thats above 1500 tpe, and a lot are hovering around a 1000 tpe range.
Here are some data that I collected.
Average TPE of people in the SHL: 808 TPE. # of people in the SHL: 303
# of people below 500: 73 (24% of SHL) # of People over 500 but below 750: 79 (26% of SHL) # of people over 750 but below 1000: 88 (29% of the SHL) # of people over 1000 but below 1500: 83 (27.5% of the SHL) # of people over 1500: 20 (6.60% of the SHL)
So as you can see the majority(only by a couple people) are from 750-1000 TPE, but then from 1000 - 1500 there is just as many people there. You can see that people that are reaching past 1500 tpe is a very difficult area to reach as well as them being top of the top. Like you can see that everyone that are over 1500 TPE always get drafted in the Fantasy draft.
Here are also some fun stuff here.
This is the average TPE per season. So we can see immediately that Season 29 is a shitty draft class, and season 31 and 32 are one of the best draft classes, even with a couple seasons into regression. You can also see that S37 is a weaker draft class. S38 and S39 are looking to be a stronger draft class as well as S41 is a strong draft class. S43 is also looking towards being a strong draft class(as S42,S43,S44 average TPE is the ones that are only in the, not SMJHL). So you can see that when people are going up into the SHL.
You can also see that S33,S34, S35, and S36 are also reaching up to 1000 TPE on average in that draft class. That can be from a multitude of reasons such as people with lower TPE retiring as well as the inactives not getting resigned.
So yeah thats my stuff that I am going to write about for now. Around 2000 Words plus graphs and research time etc.
