![]() SHL GM Admiral of the Data Seas (1725 words, plus a lot of work updating weekly and data gathering) Yeah, so 3 seasons after the big reddit draft comes in again, and a new reddit draft came along. So here we go, now S43 and where they are now Highest TPE Name - TPE - Team Luke Thomason - 887 - San Francisco Pride Hippo Passamus - 872 - Buffalo Stampede Tony Pepperoni - 863 - Edmonton Blizzard Lil Manius - 836 - Winnipeg Jets Tig Murphy - 828 - Hamilton Steelhawks Rex Kirkby - 826 - West Kendall Platoon Nicholas Williams - 824 - Winnipeg Jets Leshaun King - 805 - San Francisco Pride Alex Winters - 805 - Manhattan Rage Jax Aittokallio - 802 - Manhattan Rage Philipp Winter - 789 - Las Angeles Panthers Goku Muerto - 747 - San Francisco Pride Andrew Martin - 737 - Hamilton Steelhawks Nicky Pedersen Jr. - 734 - Calgary Dragons Jeff Brogen - 734 - San Francisco Pride Sulak O'Hritea - 727 - Manhattan Rage Max Mauldin - 725 - Las Angeles Panthers Aleister Cain - 699 - Edmonton Blizzard Dank Boija - 694 - Toronto North Stars Vladislav Konstantin - 692 - Texas Renegades Eero Niemi - 691 - Minnesota Chief Gvidas Kazlauskas - 684 - Las Angeles Panthers Vince Reaper - 659 - San Francisco Pride Kevin Kazarian - 654 - Texas Renegades Richard Metcalf Jr. - 651 - San Francisco Pride Cedric robinson - 630 - Buffalo Stampede Maximilian Egger - 620 - New England WolfPack Steven Moyer - 612 - San Francisco Pride Ignatius Blunt - 602 - Winnipeg Jets Johannes Leitner - 575 - New England WolfPack Craig Finley - 572 - Manhattan Rage Jack Kennedy - 571 - San Francisco Pride Sean Stevenson Jr. - 549 - San Francisco Pride Adam Taylor - 512 - Edmonton Blizzard Petr Vrana - 508 - San Francisco Pride David Fantobens - 502 - Texas Renegades Oliver Kovacs - 489 - Manhattan Rage Eero Makinen - 435 - San Francisco Pride Kristof Kovacs - 432 - Manhattan Rage Carlo Russo - 410 - San Francisco Pride Bust - 408 - Buffalo Stampede Mason Hudson - 407 - Seattle Riot Pavel Pivonka - 381 - Seattle Riot Kiko Rytmeyr - 380 - Texas Renegades Pierre Laroche-Durocher - 356 - Hamilton Steelhawks Helmuts Akmenlauks - 356 - Calgary Dragons Mr. Faceoffs - 350 - Toronto North Stars Marco Raanteli - 350 - Las Angeles Panthers Marc Palicka - 308 - Minnesota Chief Tobias Viklund - 289 - Manhattan Rage Wolfhard Richter - 288 - Toronto North Stars Thomas Speardane - 276 - Minnesota Chief Ryan Mason - 236 - Manhattan Rage Nathan Cosco - 229 - Minnesota Chief Average TPE: 585.15 So looking from last seasons highest TPE, we had King at #1 with 701 TPE, what happened was that he went inactive, getting other people to rise up and replace him. We see people like Luke Thomason, Hippo Passamus, and Tommy Salami leading the pack now, with Lil Manius and Tig Murphy still in the mix. You are starting to see people now getting more important for their SHL teams, and their value higher. Okay this is the histogram of the class so far. So we see a lot of people going inactive from the 350 - 450 range, and then still some people either inactive or semi active from 500 - 600 range, and then everyone after that is active. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So onto positions. First, I know some people may have moved positions, but here is what I have. So we have Hippo passamus leading the pack with Tony Pepperoni a little behind him, We still have King holding strong at 805 tpe. Everyone from Steven Moyer and above are active, so all the centers should be called up. Wingers For the wingers, Luke thomason is leading the pack hard. Next is people like Nicholas Williams and Phillip Winter still there a little bit down. Everyone from Jack Kennedy and above are active, which is nice to see. For right wingers, Lil Manius is holding strong as well as leading the right wingers, with Alex Winters around 30 tpe behind him. And then after that there are people like Sulak Ohritea nad Max Mauldin in their little pack before Dank Boija and Vladislav Konstantin leading the rear of the TPE race there. Everyone form David Fantobens and above are active/semi active, which is also nice to see. DEFENSEMEN This gets depressing real fast. WIth only 5 active people left, this defense is not a good class for them. One bright spot is Tig Murphy and Rex Kirkby are the top defense by a shitload, with Maximillian Egger, Craig Finely, and Sean Stevenson still active there too. GOALIES With Vrana retiring, and Cosco inactive there are 3 left, with Aleister Cain leading the charge, then with Cedric Robinson still holding in there with Leitner coming in the rear. Now with the average TPE on all of them, we see that the Centers and Wingers are obviously leading, with htne the goalie and then the dreadful defenders. So yeah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TPE THAT THEY GOT AFTER DRAFTED Luke Thomason - 594 Hippo Passamus - 580 Tony Pepperoni - 579 Lil Manius - 549 Nicholas William - 546 Rex Kirkby - 544 Tig Murphy - 534 Alex Winters - 522 Jax Aittokallio - 495 Leshaun King - 492 Phillip Winter - 486 Andrew Martin - 474 Goku Muerto - 469 Dank Boija - 468 Nicky Pederson jr - 464 Jeff Brogen - 463 Aleister Cain - 455 Eero Niemi - 438 Vladislav Konstantin - 436 Max Mauldin - 432 Sulak O'Hritea - 425 Vince Rieper - 402 Richard Metcalf JR - 400 Gvidas Kazluaskas - 386 Kevin Kazarian - 374 Maximillian Egger - 357 Steven Moyer - 353 Cedric Robinson - 344 Johannes Leitner - 319 Craig Finley - 319 Ignatius Blunt - 306 Sean Stevenson Jr - 302 Jack Kennedy - 301 David Fantobens - 262 Adam Taylor - 235 Petr Vrana - 235 Eero Makinen - 235 Oliver Kovacs - 196 Bust - 154 Carlo Russo - 149 Helmuts Akmenlauks - 145 Kristof Kovacs - 141 Mason Hudson - 133 Kiko Rytmeyr - 105 Pavel Pivonka - 100 Marco Raanteli - 94 Mr Faceoffs - 78 Pierre Laroche-Durocher - 73 Thomas Speardane - 62 Crush Cile - 57 Nathan Cosco - 50 Marc Palicka - 45 Tobias Viklund - 41 Wolfhard Richter - 40 Ryan Mason - 9 Again this is small, but you can kinda see a trend. A lot of people from the 1st round turned into elite tpe people, but with a lot of busts. You see people like Pavel Pivonka, Oliver Kovacs, Kristof Kovacs, Kiko Rytemyr, and Marco Raintelli all busted out. Some bright spots are people like Tony Pepperoni and Nicholas Williams are 2nd round steals in the draft. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now onto how the teams did when the drafted/now traded Of course this is after I deleted all of the busts/inactives, so it should be who is left Name - Average TPE Buffalo Stampede - 636.7 Hamilton Steelhawks - 782.5 Manhattan Rage - 637.8 Minnesota Chiefs - 691 New England WolfPack - 597.5 Toronto North Stars - 491 West Kendall Platoon - 826 Calgary Dragons - 545.0 Edmonton Blizzard - 691.3 Las Angeles Panthers - 732.7 San Francisco Pride - 650.7 Seattle Riot - 578 Texas Renegades - 632.0 Winnipeg Jets - 719.0 Average TPE: 657.9 BUFFALO Hippo Passamus 872 Cedric Robinson 630 Bust 408 It looks like Buffalo has gotten their future Center/winger and their future goalie, as FourFour retired. HAMILTON Tig Murphy 828 Andrew Martin 737 Dank Boija 694 Hamilton snagged one of the best defensemen in the draft, and they also got a future franchise winger in Andrew Martin. They also traded for Dakno Boija, which is going to be a good winger as well. Good Job hamilton. MANHATTAN Oliver Kovacs 489 Alex Winters 805 Kristof Kovacs 432 Sulak O'Hritea 727 Craig Finley 572 Jax Aittokallio 802 Manhattan also did well on the forwards side, getting Jax Aittokiallio, Alex Winters, and Sulak O’Hritea on the forwards, maybe we will see them on the same line in the future. MINNESOTA Eero Niemi 691 THey got only 1 good person this draft, and it should turn out decent for them NEW ENGLAND Maximillian Egger 620 Johannes Leitner 575 New England has gotten their new Franchise goalie and a decent defenseman considering how many defensemen are left. So a good draft for NEW too. TORONTO They dont have anyone left, as they traded away or they drafted inactives WEST KENDALL PLATOON Rex Kirkby 826 They didnt draft much, but the one person they drafted turned out to be one of the best defenseman in the draft, so thats a plus CGY Nicky Pederson JR 734 Helmuts Akmenlauks 356 Mason Hudson 407 Good job on getting Pederson, and then picking Hudson up in FA. Im not sure if Helmuts is still active, but im going to keep him here for now. EDMONTON Tony Pepperoni 863 Adam Taylor 512 Aleister Cain 699 I know Cain isnt with them anymore, as he is with NOLA now, but I was too lazy to add them and CHI to it, so yeah. They got Tony Pepperoni, one of top TPE earners in the league, as wel las Adam Taylor who is still active. So losing their future goalie sucks, but what can you do LAS ANGELES PANTHERS Phillip Winter 789 Gvidas Kazluaskas 684 Max Mauldin 725 Same thing for Gvidas for Cain, but without him, LAP got 2 really good Wingers that should help their aging core. SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE Leshaun King 805 Luke Thomason 887 Goku Muerto 747 Jeff Brogen 734 Vince Rieper 659 Sean Stevenson Jr 549 Richard Metcalf Jr 651 Jack Kennedy 571 Petr Vrana 508 Eero Makinen 435 Steven Moyer 612 Now a couple notes: Petr Vrana, and Eero Makinen retired and Jack Kennedy got snagged by CHI in the expansion draft. And Stevenson got snagged by NOLA So they still have a good inactive in King, and the some good wingers in THomason, Muerto Brogen, Repaer, Metclaf, and Moyer. Still a really good core, that just needs time to develop. SEATTLE Kevin Kazarian 654 David Fantobens 502 JSS Traded for these 2 folks, which they are doing decent, hope things go well for them TEXAS Nicholas Williams 824 Vladislav Konstantin 692 They have the rights to Williams, so he could go in FA to somewhere else. But then they have Konstantin(I think) which is pretty decent I guess. WINNIPEG Lil Manius 836 Ignatius Blunt 602 Winnipeg still has 2 very good players in this draft class. Lil Manius will be a franchise player for a long time with WPG, and Blunt should be a good player as well. So yeah, this is a good time to see the slow decline of people updating each week, but that doesnt mean that the activity is dropping as much as one tends to think. I think what this means is that people are waiting a little bit(since its the offseason) to update, and I personally have seen it happen. So yeah, not as much as I talk about in my last articles, as people are dropping a little bit each season, so there will be less word about it. S44, S45, and S46 articles will be out relatively soon ![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() Registered #4 Princess Diana Fan ![]() Registered Posting Freak
