I tried to find a mix between balancing stats with your update/profile pages, and adjusting them to be even with where you are on the line up, so the computer doesn't do fucky stuff with the lines in between games

Ratings are relative as well, so even though it says 4.0/5 or 2.0/5, your stats are relatively equal. ^^ Some stats just suit some roles better~

Game 1 of the Sapphire cup series, between the Vipers and Archons is on!

We are five minutes into game one, and its been a dirty affair. Hooking calls by Knurtsson and Boomhover put the Archons down 5 on 3 for a good minute, but they've held on with timely defense and several clutch saves by Nadeau. Tensions seem to be riding high, with extra shoving and cursing between plays. Miller just got called for a hook! The Archons flip the advantage, and are now on the power play themselves.
5 minutes gone in game 1; still 0-0 all.

We are 10 minutes in now; the Vipers survived the power play against them, but their offense is starting to trail a little bit, most of the time the Archons have been threatening, with the defense doing a good job of blocking shots. You can tell their legs are getting tired; the tempo of the game needs to change quickly, otherwise they are going to be scored on. 10 Minutes into the first, its 0-0 all.

Games been very fluid after the 10 minute break, although the hooking calls haven't stopped. Kennedy got called for a hook a little over a minute ago, and the Vipers have been relentless in their assault. The puck has been cycled around the zone, and the Archons are looking exhausted now..

Vipers lead 1-0 with a little more than 5 minutes to go in the 1st period!

Everyone seemed to calm down after the goal, and both teams played much more conservatively! Honestly a little bit of a snoozer, but the fans are plenty excited so far!

We head to the start of the second, with the Vipers nursing a 1-0 lead!

I'm claiming an assist!

We are a bit more than halfway through the second! Shots have evened out, after the archon's dominated the vipers for the first two minutes. They were very lucky not to give up any more goals; but now its been pretty fast flowing hockey! Lots of exciting action, but no team has really gotten a breakaway chance, a-lot of the shots taken have been low percentage, hoping for anything resembling a rebound!

We are still tied at 1-1!

We have a touch over 5 minutes to go here in the second; the second and third line for the Archon's have been vastly superior compared to the Vipers's second and third lines. Vakerian and Gibbles have been doing work on the power play; Kennedy got called again for hooking!
The power play is almost over though, less than ten seconds on it!  
Vakerian passes it to gibbles through a opening in the defense...

Right after the penalty ended for the Vipers, Fischer got called for tripping! The PK unit is in tatters right now for the Vipers; they look absolutely guttered. The lines are getting mixed up due to defensemen and wingers needing a break..


Vakarian has it.. running through the neutral zone.. passing it to Gibbles.. who takes a shot from the point..

The shot booms out towards the boards.. Gibbles follows it up and is pressed on the boards.. he kicks it behind the net, where an unmarked Knurtsson awaits...


He dances around a defender and takes an awkward shot on net....
