The Friendly Cup, brought to you by the Outlungus Foundation ~ The Actual Game
|
![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() The Outlungus Foundation's Friendly Cup game was hosted at the Stade Jean Louis II, at the French section of the city of Anaheim, somewhere near the Disneyland ride and that hole that McCloud blew up last year. The game was broadcasted at the Outlungus Sports Network, a local channel responsible for coverage of any sorts of sports that happen to be played near Anaheim. The game also used a British TV stream to place text commentary over it, as per tradition of the station's lack of budget.
Commentary was provided by former Anaheim Amigos forward (and capped national player for the Isle of Man) Jimbo McAllister and former Southern California Pyromaniacs' defender (and usually a drunk woman) Joan Guinevere, which you can check via turning on the subtitles to English.

Still neat to see. And we only had 1 shot zero on target wewHonestly, I agree with you. I'm not exactly sure why that happened. It might be that the gane was simmed on the difficulty which I play at (Amateur), where the CPU can get quite good at the offense but it usually gets good defensively and that's it. The other possible reason would be the Agressivity setting being fairly low, so they didn't pursue the goal as often. I'll keep it in mind for next time. So... the elephant on the room. McCloud is a ninja but there wasn't a ninja helmet in game. However, there were some dog heads. Went with a husky since... I dunno, goddamn huskies, man. It was, as a result, the easiest player to make. I kind of learned some stuff in the process, though the most important thing was that Seger's player render is... kinda weathered? Overall, it was fun to run the game. I thought it'd end up as a draw but shock and awe, a 15+ years old AI was able to score. Hope to do this again next season. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Player Page - Update Page ![]() Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - ![]() ![]() ![]() Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR ![]() Graphic Graders S11 Challenge Cup Champion ![]() Commissioner Turtle Lord ![]() Registered Scott Stevens
