I'm very excited to be here today announcing the roster for Team World at the S47 WJC. I'll begin with a little theoretical background of the team. That picture up there? That's a picture of the earth, sometimes referred to in the abstract as the world. On this world, due to thousands of years of historical developments, we are divided up into nations. Some of these nations have enough fake players in this fake hockey league to field their own team. Others don't have quite enough but have a good ol' neighboring nation with whom they can join forces and create a regionally-consistent team. And then there's us. The leftovers. The scrap heap. Fortunately for us, the leftovers in this fridge are worthy of being a main course. We've got superstars from around that world - honestly it's mostly from Norway and Japan but those are on two different parts of the globe so we can say it's around it - coming together ready to fight for Team World on the fake computer ice! After finishing with a silver medal last year, this team is looking to come Blessed with this multinational makeup, we'll present the roster that way.
