So, we skipped recording again. We didn't think we'd be able to fill much time, so we skipped the weekend before last. Last weekend I was out of town.

We are 100% recording this weekend, even if that means I'm doing one solo. Things are happening, so I'll have some stuff to talk about.

First of all, congratulations to Rich on Lundberg gaining second place on the all time hits list. Awesome accomplishment. Will you go for McDavid now or will we be seeing a retirement thread soon?

Adam, what about Kruger? How long will he hang on and what would you still like to see him accomplish in his career?

What do you guys think about the new Bojo Biscuit defensive defenseman award? Does this now mean the awards committee has an excuse to just hand the Stevens to the highest scoring defenseman every year now, without even trying to hide it? Is it right to need a “defensive defenseman” award or should it just be obvious that defensemen are there to play defense first? Would it, perhaps, have been more prudent to add a separate offensive defenseman award and reserve the Stevens for the core attributes of the position? Or were any changes just a bad idea from the start?

So since taking over as WKP GM (8 seasons) JR has:

Been nominated for the McKeil (best coach) 2x
Been nominatoted for the Uppercut (best GM) 1x
Won the Challenge Cup 3x
Been a Challenge Cup Finalist 5x

I must ask:

1. Should he have won an Uppercut or McKeil by this point?
2. What are the odds that JR is able to tie or surpass Steelhead for 5 Challenge Cup Championships?
3. If he stepped down today would he be a HOF worthy GM? If not, what would it take?
