S49 Weekend Funtime: Gift Certificate

I used my Gift card to buys two San Francisco Hemo Jerseys, A Goku Muerto @Muerto and a Jack Tanner @Beaver. With the left over I bought 2 bobbleheads of Joe Lombardi @bluesfan55 . I'll keep them in my locker to remember him when he retires.

I used my gift card to buy one pack of GOD McZherl's golf BALLS, two Pride jerseys (one of Dominic Montgomery and one of Jack Tanner), and a new foosball table for the Pride locker room.

Armada Monarchs Germany

Armada Steelhawks Switzerland

Armada Specters Wolfpack Steelhawks Forge Switzerland

Scarecrows pride Chiefs Riot Stars Blizzard Ireland

I would use my 250$ and go to the Detroit Falcons section and ask for a custom Justin Siddals jersey from S41 since they probably wouldn't sell it anymore 8 seasons later. Siddals was a good fella for Detroit and was on pace for a nice career before heading inactive.

@HenryDeLaMare come back bb pls

With the $250 gift card I was able to buy an authentic Seattle Riot jersey that I will be wearing underneath my Tampa Bay Barracuda jersey

$250? really? when weekly training costs one million SHL dollars i am not sure if I can even buy a stick of gum for $250 in this league.

It doesn't cover the entire cost, but using it to get a classic Blizzard Aittokallio jersey is the obvious way to go. From there, maybe a Lucas Smith or Teemu Nurmi jersey as well.

I would use $250.00 my gift certificate to go on “The Big Manius SHL HOF guided tour and bar hop”. The only guided tour that requires a shot of liquor at every exhibit.

I'm gonna pick up some new swag for my new apartment in Dallas. Fill it up with renegades merchandise, like jerseys, pint glasses, signed artwork, etc. Definitely deck the place out with the merch from my new team.

A retirement package from the SHL retirees association so I can learn what is in store for me in just a few seasons. Whether I will be able to afford retirement long term or will end up being a walmart greeter, begging the young SHL hopefuls to invest in the vintage jersey sales to help pay my medical bills.

I would probably buy a bunch of team pucks, sign them, go to a local hospital, and give them to sick kids to make their day better.

(This post was last modified: 08-04-2019, 12:28 PM by Slappydoodle.)

Otis B. Driftwood, being a caring and inherently giving person, wanted to use his $250 windfall on someone he loved , rather than spend it selfishly on El-Cheapo cigars and or martinis.

After thinking long and hard on the subject, the answer presented itself almost as a revelation. Otis was in the training facility of Team USA getting a rubdown from Lil’ Manius, whose tiny hands and determination allow him to get into the nooks and crannies of big ole’ Otis like no one else when Jason Visser came in the room. Watching the living legend Visser struggle to simply walk normally, after his many years taking punishment on the ice, Driftwood knew what he must do.

Otis ran out on a limited shopping spree to acquire the necessary materials. Upon his return, he found Jason Visser trying to find comfort in a hot tub. “Perfect”, Otis declared loudly, “The heat will only help loosen things up and get them moving.”

“Wait, what? What are you talking about, you big dummy? And what are you doing with all that tubing?” Visser asked suspiciously.

Otis, busy unloading his newly bought equipment onto a trainer’s table said casually, “Oh, you know, this stuffs is for your colonic irrigation.”

“My what! What the fuck are you talking about ......and is that gin!?”

“Well of course it is. Everyone knows the juniper in gin has excellent health effects. Why else do you think I drink so much of it?”

“Cause you’re a raging alcoholic! Everyone knows that. And besides, you drink the stuff. You don’t pour it into your ass!”

“Oh, but I do, regularly. My mentor, Slappy McDoodle taught me about the importance of colonic irrigation a long time ago. And I always use gin.”

“McDoodle, that fucking nut! He was the only one I ever met crazier even than you. Now get away from me with all that shit.”

“Oh, I’m sorry Mr. Visser but I really must insist. This is all for your own good. Now out of that tub and up on the table please and we’ll get started.”

“Fuck you Otis, you giant doofus. Stay the hell away from me.”

“Now now, Mr. Visser don’t be a grouchy grump. It’s really quite pleasant once you get used to it anyway.”

Well, Otis is a very large and strong man and very unshakable once he sets his mind to something. So needless to say, After much kicking and yelling, Jason Visser eventually got his gin colonic . Over twenty pounds of impacted matter was removed from Jason’s bowels. He felt twenty years younger and had a nice juniper berry scent for days after.

Now, I’m not saying this was the sole reason why Team USA was so successful in this year’s IIHF tournament, but I’m not saying it wasn’t either

@ToeDragon84 @Bonk

And @Mike Izzy , if this isn’t enough for 1 uncapped, I’ll never get there, lol

Depending on how much the team jerseys are on sale, I'd buy as many as I can because my player really likes to be passed around the league, so might as well use that money to help with all the equipment spending.

Michael Fox was a bit puzzled to receive the gift card. After another heartbreaking Game 7 loss in the playoffs, he didn't quite know what he should get, for himself or for someone else. But that's when he saw it. The complete 28 book series just sitting on the shelf, the SALE sign getting the price below $420.69 for the first time since its release all those years ago. Not only that, it was just below $250!

After all the recent playoff disappointment, it was about time @JKortesi81 was reminded of how to get a team to win a Game 7.

Task: Welcome all to the start of season 49!.. and as a token of the leagues appreciation each of you have been given a $250 dollar gift certificate to use at the new 'SHL Store' located on Point-Task-Strip! In 25 words or more tell us all about your purchases! what did you buy, why did you buy it, how much were they? (*tag anyone involved)

i would use my 250 dollar gift certificate card to buy some prescription adderall for my gm wannabefinn so I can cure his various ailments @WannabeFinn

i would also use the remainder to purchase my other GM tomen some calculators so he can add up all the 62%'s he wants @Tomen

I bought a new stick. Just one because of the features they needed to put in. Ran me all $250. Figured since I adjusted my game over the offseason, I would get a stick specified accordingly. I just used any old stick that would get things done in the past, though having to take more of an offensive role changes things.
