My opinion on this (not like anyone cares since I’m a cancer to this site apparently) is that even if HO isn’t putting bias into their punishments, it sure looks like it. Whether or not the intention is there, this looks bad. I feel like anyone outside of HO feels like there’s at least some bias in these punishments and it’s kinda hard to put faith in the league when shit like this keeps happening. @HO whether or not you are taking it easy on Calgary or NOLA, I think being more open to the league is definitely a good idea. In punishment threads, share the thought process behind the punishments. Explain how this compares to other punishments. I feel like these problems wouldn’t be as bad as they are right now with more transparency and accountability from HO

I find it best to ignore Samee 90% of the time.

"this place is trash"
- guys who still go to place

Agree with red though. Punishments not doing enough for cal nor tex.

I wholeheartedly agree with your worthless and cancer opinion that I don't care about Sleepy

I feel like the outrage went pretty wack but yeah although I don't think HO is bro-ing up with Calgary at all, it really just doesn't look good. More HO transparency in the future would help a lot and (hopefully) minimize the amount of drama these situations cause.

i agree completely, we have a few members of HO trying to be more transparent but it doesn't help when it isn't all them members. not to mention the fact that most of that transparency comes in the comments instead of in the main post where it belongs. we need consistent transparency from all members of HO and we need that transparency up front and center.

I do agree that the OP’s need to spell out more clearly what the facts were and what sort of issues led to the decision made. I felt while I was in HO that we discussed a lot of areas and came to nuanced conclusions, These were then boiled down to a confusing and un-informative pronouncement that made it seem like we were just making stuff up.

A more clear and open message from HO in these circumstances, and not in dribs and drabs amongst the many pages of posts, would go a long way

There’s no maliciousness or conspiracy, just bad summations

I’m the op , and a lot of you are seemingly concerned about a lack of transparency so let me try explain what went on. In the course of investigating unregressed players we came across Brumm. We looked into them and there were 3 different situations across 4 players and the Texas situation was by far the most serious and unusual. For the others we tried to compare to precedent, there was no precedent for Texas. Not only were they playing with an unregressed player on their lines, that player wasn’t on their roster on site, but was on their shl budget , but not their budget post, and was signed as an IFA but wasn’t payed, and also wasn’t dropped. If that sounds like a hot mess, it’s because it was a hot mess.

I'll throw in my agreement as well. I find it hard to weigh in with any concise conviction when the facts are either minimal or confusing. Moreover, these posts usually devolve into complaints. Things like the punishment being weak, HO not giving enough detail (Like myself here), or site members being mad at the hot takes from those like WBF who are quite vocal.
