Hello everyone, this is Jimmy John reporting on location with Trey Nets. We will be with him all day today as he awaits his name to be called in the draft. Trey has had a interesting journey to get here for sure. Today we will watch him mingle with friends and family at his Tennessee home. We will also ask Mr. Nets a few questions through the day.

JJ: So Trey how did you come about playing hockey?
TN: Well I wasn’t interested in it much until I had to move to New York with my aunt after my father passed in my teens. I knew I had a good hard shot I just had to get the skating down and get the hang of it. That was the hard part but practice practice and more practice and I nailed it.

JJ: That’s a interesting path for sure. Do you watch hockey on your down time?
TN: The only hockey I watch is team film. I already consume hockey most the year. Why would I watch even more hockey? Honestly I was never into watching it. I just wanted to hit someone and hit that black object hard past someone else. So no I don’t watch more hockey than necessary lol.

JJ: Any team you want to play for?
TN: Not really, I mean I did that list and Kraken was number one and I mean the name is badass but I’d be happy anywhere.

JJ: Who’s the best prospect in the draft?
TN: So you gotta ask? Look I’m number one prospect for sure. Not by much because there are some good guys but let’s be real. I’m gonna work my butt off and go out there and show whoever doesn’t pick me that they really missed this draft up. Pick me or be fired.

JJ: Pretty confident there.
TN: Oh for sure. Look I’m a country boy that has taught himself everything he knows about hockey. Isn’t much but I can hit a bullseye from my own net and clocked at 130mph shot. Don’t get in front of it.

JJ: We will catch up with you later today and see how it’s going.
TN: Sounds Good Jimmy.
