S51 WFT #2 - Animal Counterparts

If I was an animal it would be a cheetah. In addition to being fast and predatory, people dislike them because their speed is "gamebreaking" and ruins the spirit of the animal kingdom. There is no passing a cheetah

Thicc Cheezy is absolutely a GOAT. Forget the age old greatest of all time - Thicc Cheezy is adorable but will headbutt the shit outta you at any given moment without warning. Also can get into tight spaces on th ice and stay standing..kinda like a goat on a cliff..maybe..

If your player was an animal, what animal would they be? Why that animal? How does it suit your player's personality? Or, if you feel like branching out - pick another player and let us know what animal they would be.

If my player was an animal, he would be an italian stallion (horse). It's the nickname I've always been given because of my exceptional speed on the ice. I also had a ranch when I lived in the farms in Italy so I feel like I really connect with horses.

This one is rather simple, Cameron Carter II would be a GOAT. Why you ask? Well because he is a legend and the Greatest Of All Time.

Slip McScruff would literally be my own dog, Jorah. He's kind of dumb and anxious but really strong. When I get home, he brings me a toy but it can also be hard to take the toy from him. That translates to Slip's ability to retrieve and dish the puck and also his ability to strip the puck and keep possession. Overall, I would say that Slip McScruff is a good boy.

I would be a drunk elephant because I am absolutely useless on the ice and I can at least be drunk. Though I guess you could pick any random animal and it would likely fit if it doesn't belong on the ice.

I think this goes without saying but my man monkey d. luffy would one hundred percent be a goose. Obviously he is a terror on and off the ice so this just makes sense to me. Rake in the lake

White Goodman would be an Eagle. The reason is simple, Eagles fly high above everything else just as Goodman considers himself high above everyone else in the SMJHL.

Yoshimitsu McCloud would have to be a Kuwagamon, straight out of Digimon and that's mostly because of Yoshi's traditional beetle-like armour that probably would force him to be some sort of beetle creature, but that would just make him tiny and crap. Kuwagamon was kind of badass, although ugly as all hell.

I am not sure if JPB would give this answer but I like to think he would be an Arctic Fox or something. Im like 98% sure I say that because of that one scene in the Magicians (TV Show), so let me look over their wiki article.

Quote:In the wild, most individuals do not live past their first year but some exceptional ones survive up to 11 years.[9] Its body length ranges from 46 to 68 cm (18 to 27 in), with a generally rounded body shape to minimize the escape of body heat.

The Arctic fox preys on many small creatures such as lemmings, voles, ringed seal pups, fish, waterfowl, and seabirds. It also eats carrion, berries, seaweed, and insects and other small invertebrates. Arctic foxes form monogamous pairs during the breeding season and they stay together to raise their young in complex underground dens. Occasionally, other family members may assist in raising their young. Natural predators of the Arctic fox are golden eagles,[10] polar bears,[11] wolverines, red foxes, wolves, and grizzly bears.[12][13]

Yea that feels like JPB. I mean let's be honest, new players on this site are lucky to live past a year, and JPB is currently monogamous. He also has very intricate designs for his new home that's currently being built. Actual architects are confused by it because all of JPB's plans are done in crayon and say things like "Bitchin Jacuzzi here." Now it doesn't mention that Artic Foxes eat Poutine, but thats ok. JPB will get over that.

Michael Scarn would obviously be a stone cold fox if he were an animal. The sexiest man in Scranton is dogged with good looks, and would definitely have that sexy gray and silver salt and pepper look in his fur.

I would absolutely be a humming bird. Being a marksman, a precision shooter, you have to have that kind of skating control and movement ability to get into where the open lanes are at.

If I had to pick an animal for Mikael Choybuk, it would be a grizzly bear. At the end of the day, Choybuk does whatever he really wants. Grizzlies are nothing to mess with, and can take down most animals. They don't give a damn about anything but keeping themselves fed and protecting their families. I think that's what Choybuk is about.

If Ryan Shepard were an animal, I think he would be a crow. He has good intelligence/hockey IQ, is a very adaptable player and flies on the ice. He is also a player that can do well on his own but prefers to have his team or family around him.

I think a crow could hold their own at a game of hockey. While the other animals are still learning the basic rules, a crow would have the concept mastered and be on their way to learning dekes. Crows are also an animal that can naturally exist in colder climates, giving them an edge over cold blooded animals and ones that generally inhabit places above freezing temperatures. I also think that a crow would provide excellent leadership to a team's locker room as they are used to working together in big groups.

If Jack Wilson could be any animal he would be a bull, but not for the reasons you would think. Wilson isn't an enforcer going around hitting everything...at least not on purpose. Rather, he exemplifies "bull in a china shop" he is so clumsy and whenever he skates around he almost can't help running into other players and take penalties
