There are some big announcements coming in Norway. Tor Tuck has been honored to serve as the head of Norway for the last many seasons despite the struggles the team has faced. However, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce some changes to the team. The true heart and soul of the team, Goku Muerto is stepping down from his position as my Co-Head in beautiful Norway. After years of making me look good and putting his heart and soul into the team, he is moving on to become an SHL General Manager where he will attempt to Make Winnipeg Great Again.
Fortunately, after a few seasons where there was a dearth of talent in Norway we have many up and coming young players in the league that are ready to step up and lead. Peter Larson has played well in the net sharing time with the Norwegian Legend Tommy Tuck and after a full year of living in a cabin and eating nothing but Lutefisk Peter Larson has agreed to step into a leadership position to become the new Co-Head of Team Norway. Peter has been a leader on the team even when he was a young goalie backing up a veteran. The whole team is excited for the fresh perspective as we welcome in the largest class of rookies the team has seen in a looooong time.
In addition to Peter taking on a leadership role two other young up and comers are going to be getting involved with the team. Samuel Michaud is going to step into the role of coach for Team Norway. Samuel Michaud has been a big member of Team Norway after joining the team and his mind for the game is going to be put to use to help Norway get back to its winning ways.
Adam Scianna is going to lead a new department on Team Norway as the Head of Analytics and Assistant Coach to help transition team Norway towards whatever the future may bring as there are rumors of sweeping changes to the international hockey scene.
