Donini - SFP will beat out LAP and NOLA to win the division
Agree. San Francisco had a fantastic offseason by bringing in a proven star in Mariusz Czerkawski, and they have the talent to play with NOLA and LAP. If Chris Partridge plays like he did a few seasons back, San Francisco has a great chance of winning the Southwest and the President's Trophy.

Donini - Corey Kennedy will become the first defenseman to win a Ron Mexico trophy since Alonzo Garbanzo in S27

At this point people think of the Stevens as the award for highest scoring defenseman. The idiotic decision to create the Bojo Biscuit award gave cover to lazy award committee members to just throw the Stevens at the defenseman whose game is closest to a forward instead of doing actual research or putting in any real thought. This leaves them time to hammer HO incessantly for higher pay.

The Ron Mexico award, due to more lazy behavior is now looked at as a pure forward award, with an occasional goalie thrown in.

Last thing on the topic, Cory Kennedy won’t have the best season among defensemen.

Blastmeaway - LAP will win the Challenge Cup

No way they beat out San Francisco, especially now that I am back, the useless backup, and also as everyone knows Lions > Panthers anyways so not much of a competition there.

I love me some Pepperoni, but with everyone's build damn near the same it's a bit of a crap shoot who will lead the league in scoring each season, let alone who will be deemed MVP by the league. If he can repeat a performance similar to this season he'll have my vote.

Karl why do we keep meeting here you fool! Tony Pepperoni is the greatest player in the history of the league. Tony is such a nice guy that players on the ice can’t help but let him score on them. Throw in all of the talent around him and Tony will once again do his damage across the SHL.

Inf1d3l - Toronto will make the playoffs in the East

Toronto has only one player with over 900 TPE on their roster... to put that into perspective, I'm entering the league as a rookie this year... with 900 TPE. STHS is weird so I'm sure they won't be as bad as you think they should be but no way they are making the playoffs.

13th US President Millard Fillmore - Tampa Bay and West Kendall will take the top two spots in the Atlantic

There is no way West Kendall and Tampa Bay are both at the top of the Atlantic. The Platoon have a shot with the pieces they added this offseason but 2 of those key pieces came from Tampa. Tampa is going to be a bottom feeder most likely with the amount of talent they have lost in the GM change.

This has aged well. Are you serious? Tampa Bay is a SMJHL team in the big leagues. There is no way they even finish at .500. The bolder take is that they will end dead last in the league by a mile.

An SMJHL team in the big leagues implies we're young, developing and can only go up from here. And we made the playoffs last season. #BarracudaS52Champs

Katth - LAP will miss the playoffs

Elijah Jones has been training hard all season. He's coming in much improved compared to his earlier self at this point last season. Watch out for Jones to contribute to LAP's impressive offense which will help them make the playoffs.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred - Texas will shock the world and make the playoffs

Just, no. Nothing against Texas, but they're firmly entrenched in the Wild West, and they can't hold a candle to the Top 5 over there. New Orleans just cruised to the President's Trophy and Edmonton should've won the Challenge Cup if not for the cheating by our "champions". Calgary is always a strong contender. Los Angeles is in full on desperation mode, hinging on some lucky playoff outcome that somehow means they'll be contenders, so they're just buying and buying before we move to FHM and Wasty has a whole new engine to try to figure out so why not hope for the best? And San Fran is so close to being a good team but usually fucks it up somewhere along the way, so New Orleans had to help their friends out over there and gift them an actual superstar forward. Texas is no where close to these five teams, and unless Grapehead completely fucks up his team yet again, Texas (And MIN, and WPG) shouldn't really sniff the playoffs.

But then again, Simon.

hotdog - Despite the band-aid, Hamilton be the first team to repeat as champions since the S30-31 Wolfpack

Nope. That's it. Not only was that Championship winning Wolfpack dynasty, the best this league has ever seen, humble brag, they dominated without their greasey fingers in the sim and working it to win. Nobody will ever be as good as that Wolfpack team.

Inf1d3l - Toronto will make the playoffs in the East

This seems nearly impossible. The only way we make the playoffs is by some fluke of the sim. The roster just isn't there. Toronto was one of the weakest rosters in the league even before Lokitonov was traded. Now, we should finish last in the league based on roster strength.

Y-man - Johannes Leitner will return to his S49 form and win the McBride award for best goalie again

Ya i am going to have to agree with this one based on the sole fact that in the three months i have been here i haven't heard of this player, so that means they must not be any good

Katth - LAP will miss the playoffs

Although LAP narrowly snuck in to the playoffs last year I don't think they will miss the playoffs this coming season. One of the main reasons being the state of the Western conference. Frankly, it's pretty brutal and the transactions LAP has made this past offseason should allow them to have a spot in the playoffs once again in S52.

Donini - SFP will beat out LAP and NOLA to win the division

No matter how good of a roster they may have, the Pride never perform up to expectations and won't beat out a powerhouse team in the Specters or the vastly improved Panthers.

Donini - SFP will beat out LAP and NOLA to win the division

Let's just think about SFP. Legitimately, look back and tell me at what time SFP has truly been successful and dangerous. NOLA is going to be the team to win the division, and the Pride are going to continue to struggle into a wild card spot. They'll still manage a playoff spot, but that division is not something they can take.
