Toronto North Stars
Toronto SHOULD be tanking, with only 1 player over 1k for their forwards, and the other 1k player is their goalie, with a wrecked defensive core who their highest TPE guy is 600, they should be tanking. But they arent, they are finding ways to win, and Im not sure if that will do them any good. They need more firepower than their prospect pool, and Im sure their GM knows that. They have a really positive prospect pool but lets jump into them.

Elite
S50:  Rich  -  Bobby Lane
Drafted 3 seasons ago, Toronto is finally seeing their rewards in the SHL, as this is Lanes rookie season as a North Star. Lane is a Offensive Winger from the United States that right now is leading all rookies in scoring, with 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 points, on a very weak offensive team. Lane has shown that type of dynamic offensive power before in the SMJHL, especially last season as he put up 46 points for the Carolina Kraken. In terms of the draft Lane was drafted 4th OA to the North Stars, and in terms of TPE Lane is at 793 which is good for 1st in his class, which is expected for someone of his Caliber. For the user, Rich is one of the well respected members of the site, having the legendary Jonathan Lundberg player before this one, having a great podcast(Which gave him a great bank), and general activities on the site makes him the perfect pick.

S52:    notoriousTRON  -  Rhys Pritchard
Drafted this past season Pritchard is a Offensive Winger from Great Britain and is currently playing for the Anaheim Outlaws. This season is going as expected for Pritchard, not really a down season but a continuation of last season, where he put up 32 points in his 50 games there. This season he is at 18 points in 29 games, so right where he was at last season. Even with the dip in AMG this season he is still producing well which is a good sign. In terms of the draft Pritchard was drafted 4th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 407 which is good for 3rd OA, so right where he is supposed to be. In terms of the user TRON is a great one so far in his short time here. Already IIHF Co-Commish, have done PBP’s, very involved on the site, looks like a great pick so far.

High End/Very Good
S51:    CptSquall  - Ruslan Zaporozhets
Drafted a season ago, Zaporozhets is a sniper winger born in the Ukraine, and is currently playing for the St Louis Scarecrows. Ruslan is having a banner season for himself on St Louis, having 10 goals and 21 goals for 31 points in 29 games, while being relied heavy on the power play. Last season he also did great, getting 40 points in those 50 games. In terms of the draft, Ruslan was drafted 9th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 460, which is good for 15th most in the class, which is decent. In terms of the user CptSquall had a very good defenseman who was very good for both Toronto and New Orleans, and Toronto is hoping he can be a great winger as well. With a large bank account CptSquall is another really good pick made.

Very Good

S50    UrsinZ    Ursin Zimmermann

Drafted 3 seasons ago, Zimmerman is an offensive defenseman from Switzerland, who is currently playing for the Anaheim Outlaws. This season he seems like a shell of himself last season. Zimmerman had 10 goals and 33 assists last season for 43 points, and this season he has only 8 assists in 29 games at the moment. Hopefully he picks up his point production again, as Anaheim will need him as they are trying to get the laurifer. In terms of the draft, Zimmermann was drafted 30th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 638, which is good for 22nd most for the class. Very good for Toronto who is having some big holes on the defense. In terms of the user, UrsinZ is now the Co-GM of Toronto, does most of the PT’s, participate in Fantasy, and is an all around good prospect. One thing to knock him for is his lack of money, and not earning a lot of money through articles or graphics could impede his training in the future.

Very Good/Good
S50: kuschy - Daniel Kuster
Now into his 3rd season in the organization, Kuster has been great for Colorado at the moment. Kuster is a offensive defenseman from Switzerland who is currently playing for Colorado. This season he is doing great for Colorado, already getting 24 points in 31 games so far, about to be breaking his last season's record of 29 points in 50 games. This could also be another turning point for Kuster who is putting an extra gear to him, as well as playing all situations for Colorado. In terms of the draft Kuster was drafted 25th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 564, which is good for 27th highest in the draft. In terms of the user Kuschy is pretty active, hopefully earns more TPE in the future to help Toronto out

Good
S52:    ryan cvit  - Ryan Cvitkovich
Drafted last seaosn, Cvitkovich is a Offensive winger from the united stats that is currently playing for the Anchorage Armada. Like Pritchard, Cvitkovich is looking to have another steady season in the SMJHL, already having 15 points in 29 games. Last season he had 24 points in 50 games, so he is looking to break his previous record a bit as well. He has gained some more ice time as well, so it looks like a good step forward for Cvitkovich in Anchorage. In terms of the draft, he was drafted 20th OA, and in terms of TPE he is at  305 which is good for 24th for the class, so kinda where he is at. In terms of the user, nothing too much stands out for me,havent posted anything other than his player page and update thread, 2.5 mil in the bank, but he is appearing to do most of the PT’s which is encouraging. I would like to see where he goes in the next season and catch up there.

S51    Atlas Hunter    Stracimir Petrovic
Drafted last season Petrovic is a playmaking center from Serbia, who is currently playing for the Vancouver Whalers. This season he is doing a lot better in terms of his point production, getting 21 points in 29 games so far with the Whalers, while playing on both special teams and having a 56% FO%. In terms of last season he did alright, only having 16 points in 50 games, it is looking like Petrovic is turning a corner in his career. In terms of the draft, Petrovic was drafted 10th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 398, which is good for 21th in the class. So maybe Toronto took him too high? We will find out in the future. As for the user, Hunter is pretty semi active, right now only doing training and AC, but he has purchased training a couple weeks ago and participated in some of the WFT and easier PT’s last month, so  we will see if he continues earning TPE.

S50:    mdubz  -  Andrei Petrikov
Drafted 3 seasons ago as well, Petrikov is a two-way winger from Russia, who is playing for the Toronto North Stars this season. Last season playing for the Armada, he had a great season, getting 42 points in 50 games while also playing heavy minutes for the Armada, it has helped him move onwards to Toronto. In his rookie season he already has 13 points, so its a pretty strong rookie season so far. In terms of the draft Petrikov was drafted 45th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE he is at 411, which is good for 39th in the class. So he has been moving his way up so far. In terms of the user, mdubz has had players in the past, though they havent been that notable. He does have a good bank account, and is updating so we will have to see, though he wont be on this list next season as he would have played a season in the SHL.

S49:    austin623  -  Cal Clucker
Drafted 4 seasons ago, Clucker spent the full time in the SMJHL, playing for the North Stars this season. Cal is a two-way defenseman, being born in the United States. Last season for Lethbridge he did decent for them, getting 20 points and logging a lot of PK time. This season in Toronto he is also having a decent start, getting 15 points already in 28 games. In terms of the draft, Clucker was taken at 35th OA to Texas who is now in Toronto. In terms of TPE Clucker is at 510 TPE, which is good for 20th for tpe in the class, so 100% a big jump in development. We will see where Clucker goes in the Toronto organization who is desperate for defensive help. In terms of the user Austin is probably going to be semi-active for his career, doing training and AC almost every week and the easier PTs like 3v3 or primetime. So he can certainly be useful for Toronto going into the future.

S49:    StaticShocked  -  Jan Zacha
Also drafted 4 seasons ago, Zach is a center from the Czech Republic, and is also currently playing for Toronto. Last season on Vancouver Zacha really did turn his corner this season getting 17 goals and 31 assists for 48 points as well as playing a lot in the power play. In terms of this season for Toronto he had an alright rookie season so far, earning 11 points in 28 games so far. For the draft, he was drafted 8th OA to Toronto, and in terms of TPE Zacha is at 553, which is good for 19th in the draft, which is kinda disappointing. In terms of the user StaticShocked is a longtime member of the SHL, having a very good player for a couple teams over his past players career. He also has a larger bank account than most so hopefully Toronto can turn his activity up.

Dang. I was hoping we'd be top 3. Not too disappointed with 4th, especially with our pick situation in this upcoming draft.
