JS: The faceoff is between Reid Sutherland and Trey Nets in the Detroit zone, and Reid Sutherland wins it back to Guy O’ Shea who fires it all the way down the ice.

The Scarecrows reset and attempt to dump the puck in the zone, but it is retrieved by Nurmagomedov who lobs it all the way out, so the Scarecrows have to try again.

This time they attempt a drop pass, and they gain the zone.

Sasha Dangelchek tries to put a shot on net, but Jobin sees it all the way and holds on for another faceoff.

Zaporozhets passes to Ronlain, who passes it to Meszaros at the point.

Ronlain tries for a cross-ice pass to Marston, but it is tipped out by the active stick of Jmac NCheese, and the Scarecrows reset once again.

Time is ticking on the penalty, and St Louis has only put one shot on net so far!

Shot by Erben Kasius - it caroms off to the side of the net, and Kanoff, who is limping, manages to flip it out to center.

JS: Williams and Sulfurgold are out on the penalty kill now, and they’re running an incredibly aggressive forecheck!

They keep the Scarecrows pinned in their own zone, and the penalty expires!

Liljestrom races across to the bench, and Kekkonen hops out, followed by his linemates.

JS: Labovitch goes in for the puck and tries to center it, but it gets tipped across.

McMaster and Hudson battle it out in the corner, and Hudson manages to get the puck off the glass and out to center, where Liljestrom was waiting.

He slams it down the boards into the Scarecrows zone - but he was on his own side of center! Icing!

JS: Sutherland wins the draw, and gets it to Wanesly, but Wanesly is crushed by Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette!

Wanesly gets smashed into the glass, and looks dazed!
