On the eve of the 2nd round of the SMJHL playoffs we have the privilege of sitting down with Vancouver starting goalie White Goodman.

Goodman has had an MVP caliber season going 23-12-9 with a 0.905 saye percentage and a 2.58 goals against average adding 2 shutouts to those numbers. Knowing that Vancouver was going to play Anaheim for a while now they have had time to prepare and we now get the chance to talk to Goodman about the upcoming playoff series for the Whalers.

Reporter: Hello White, how are you feeling the day before the start of your playoff series?

Goodman: I’m feeling pretty good to be honest. We’ve done our preparations and we feel like we are going to make quick work of these wanna be outlaws.

Reporter: how long have you guys been here in Anaheim preparing for the playoffs?

Goodman: too long. I mean Anaheim is a nice place and all but it’s nothing like Vancouver. There’s no really good places to eat, there’s nothing really to do. It’s not like I’m used to, I can walk down the street in Italy or Vancouver and be surrounded by gorgeous women, here, well, meh. As for food, what is this American food? I’ve had better hamburgers in Italy. Pizza here, what a disgrace. Like the women here, meh.

Reporter: that’s not what I was referring to but……next question I guess. What are your thoughts on the Anaheim outlaws team?

Goodman: Uh, I don’t know. I guess the team is rejecting their city…Very meh. Look, They are fine. I'm sure they can pass pucks around and shoot it nice. They may even say that they beat us 3 times this season. They Never beat us. Overtime is a crapshoot. It doesn't count. Shootout is like overtime and the regulation loss was the refs being paid off by their management team. I won't say that i saw them paying the refs but, well i just did i guess. The fact is they haven't beat us. They can't beat us. They know they can't beat us straight up. How can they? Their Goalie is Meh, their Defense is Meh and their Offense is also Meh. The reality is that like their food, like their women, like their city in general, it's all subpar.

Reporter: are you at all worried that they may beat you at all?

Goodman: No. It's hard to worry when you know what you saw and know that they can't do it straight up. We are better than them and we are not at all worried about them. Our only regulation loss against them came in their building. With refs paid to make sure we lost. We aren't worried...OH, and did i mention I'm in nets for Vancouver. That alone is all we need to beat Anaheim.

Reporter: so let me understand this, your saying Anaheim sucks and Vancouver will win because of you?

Goodman: Finally you understand. Look, we have a great team. The biggest worry other teams will have is how to beat one WHITE GOODMAN. We will score goals, we will hit, pass shoot and score. Now the other team needs to figure out how to score against me.
