SMJHL Draft Hopes
#1

With the SMJHL draft closing in, I am really hoping to improve my odds of being a first or second round draft choice. Given the current situation I know i will prove myself to be one of the better players in this draft. I will work as hard as I possibly can. The team that takes a chance on me will not regret it. My goal is nothing short of bringing home the Four Star Cup for my SMJHL club. I am thrilled to meet my teammates and my coach. Hopefully I can be a leader in the locker room, as my coach said back in Bloomington Hills "You don't need a letter on your jersey to be a leader for this team. It's the team. The team. The Team.  Every Player and coach in this locker room leads by example and by work ethic. And our goal is to work harder then every other team no matter the standings". And that has always stuck with me and guided me in life.
My eagerness for the draft grows each day, my friends tell me it isn't too much to get worked up about, but I can't help it. I am just awaiting he day my name is called at the draft and I walk on stage to grab my Jersey and Hat for my new club. I don't know where i will end up but my hope is to stay and improve that team my entire life. Maybe one day I could even see my number in the rafters. But that is all years down the road. For now, all I can do is focus on the  nearby future and that draft
Thank you to everyone for the support while this whole process of getting drafting is going on, I appreciate it.

Hey man welcome to the league, same here, created about 12 days ago, and they have been by far the quickest and yet torturing days of my life.  Quickest because I am glued to the screen and torture because of the anxiety I am getting upon the draft.

Cheers brother and good luck with your objectives and career.

Hey! Just a heads up, you posted this article in the "Graded Articles" subforum, which is where the media graders move articles once people are paid for them. I've moved it into the general media section for you so don't worry.

I would also put a note in your article saying it's your first article, so that whoever grades it knows you can get the 2x bonus for your first article Cheers

Welcome to the league!

Welcome to the league, enjoy the moment. There'll be lots to do a lot of the time and it's all exciting especially at this point of your career.
