I have not been doing anything too wild while staying at home, basically like a Sunday, but every day. I have tried to sleep a bit more than normal, which has been perhaps the best part of it all. I try to work out every day, I have a stationary bike at home, so the coaches in New England have been sending me all kinds of training programs. Mostly I just sit in front of the tv and cycle away. Quite nice actually.
I have also started to read more, bought a couple of books weeks ago that has brought much-needed change to watching some kind of monitor for hours. Playing video games is still in my daily quarantine schedule, I have a PlayStation and those monthly free games have stacked up, unfortunately, it takes forever to load some of the massive games, but still cool that I get to try these games finally.
That's about it for me, I live alone, so I think I have decent odds on not getting the coronavirus, but tough to say what happens in the future. Going to take it easy and follow the instructions meanwhile.

So there I was, stuck in my home for 4 weeks without any contact from the outside world. Of course, I would have contact with the outside world thanks to the internet, but being stuck in my home without the ability get on the ice and skate really hurt. As someone who is trying to be one of the faster skaters in the league, I really need my ice time. Between my Animal Crossing sessions with some SHLers, I have been running in circles around my couch. The hardwood floor is nice and slick with only socks on so I am back to being 7 again, acting like I am skating. I am seeing other hockey players doing stick handling challenges with toilet paper, what is up with that? My mind is starting to ramble and get all mixed up now, as I am sure you can tell by the way I am writing this. It currently day 2 of the quarantine, I have already lost my marbles.
Gabe Johnson has been spending his spending his quarantine period working hard...or at least that's what he leads his Hamilton coaches to believe. In reality Johnson has taken a step back on his physical fitness due to his unwillingness to leave the house, and as the days have gone on his diet hasn't consisted of much more than things like greasy junk posing as dinners and frozen food. All the same, with stores emptying out during this crisis, having a bunch of any food is a blessing.
Despite slacking now, Johnson is desperate to take advantage of the longer offseason and work on his strengths and weaknesses, and all this alone time could easily be used to his advantage as well. While not being able to go to the local rink at all has stung a lot, Johnson does have the resources at home to train rigorously, and has started to do such. With Johnson starting to reach the point where he'll be expected to be one of the best defencemen in the league, he has to prepare to play the part.
In unprecedented times like these, it's important to take a step back and acknowledge what is really important to you. Frans Eller is a young player, so he doesn't have a wife and kids at home that he needs to be concerned first and foremost about. He's concerned about his parents, who are both in their late 50s, and his mother with a compromised immune system. The most important thing you can do to help others is if you're in a financial place to do so, donate to those in need, and stay in your own god damned house to avoid infecting others. That's exactly what Frans Eller plans to do. He will launch his own streaming platform to engage with his fans, ride the hell out of his Peloton bicycle, and play a ton of fetch with his German Shepherd, Brutus. It's sure to be a boring few weeks, but if it keeps Frans and many others healthy, it's the obvious choice.

Just because you can't hit the ice, doesn't mean you can't get some work in. Guy O'Shea will not be sitting around the house, drinking beer and eating junk food, oh no. It will be a steady diet of protein packed beef jerky, and beef jerky only. I fully expect that after some time at home with this slide board, He will be a better skater than ever. Once we get out of this darn quarantine, it will be game over for the league as he is going to tear through it like a hot knife through butter. That is if he does not go crazy from isolation before being released. Word is he is also in talks to expand on the Joe Exotic cover done by Gritty and do some collaboration work with him in the coming weeks. It will be hot fire, do not try to disagree. Every one loves Gritty and big cats. Our videos will feature both. HOT FIRE.
Fortunately for Cillian, he was able to fly home to Ireland to be with his family before the outbreak became such a global crisis. Cillian's typical day consists of 5 meals, 2 workouts and much needed down time in between to enjoy time with friends and family. With the outbreak becoming significantly worse over the past few days with cases rising over 900, Cillian and his family have been taking proper precautions to avoid contamination from this widespread virus. One of these percausions include an over the phone workout with Cillian's personal trainer rather in person at Cillian's home gym. The Kavanagh's also hired a sous-chef which they are currently constructing a pool-house like building on the edge of their property to house the chef and their assistant.
On the hockey side of things, Cillian is using this valuable time to escape from the world of hockey and relax his mind with television and Netflix. Cillian can be seen enjoying the newest season of Peaky Blinders and also watching the Irishman for the 1,000th time. "Being quarantined could be worse" he said, with his feet up on the couch and with a big grin. "I don't know how long this will last, but when the season does begin, I will be well rested and ready to go".

The whole COVID-19 situation is unlike anything I have ever lived through. There have been some disease outbreaks before, but nothing quite on this scale. It's so bizarre to see everything that's normally bustling be so empty. Recently the government gave everyone the order to stay home if you can. Luckily for me, there is a small frozen pond just a few hundred feet from the place I'm staying at, this im able to keep up with some of my training. Although without people to practice with, there isn't a ton I can work on, so I've been practicing my puck handling skills. Even with the outdoor rink, I'm still at home way more than I'm comfortable with. I do have a couple shows to catch up on, namely stranger things. There isn't a lot of time during the season to watch TV, so the quarantine is a good time to just relax.
Well, this is hard time for all world. Should quarantine be required I think I would love to go home to my parents but it is not possible because borders of Latvia are closed. So, I would stay home and improve myself. Also waste time with some computer, play station games like all players around the world. Workouts at home to keep yourself in shape. I would like to read some books because I haven't done this in a long time. Spend my time in the Internet to know something new about covid-19 and all shit that happens around the world. I will be ready for season because as I said i would train at home because it is safer. It is boring to stay home but we need that to fight with that virus. Darzins is ready for everything. And hopes that all gonna be okay as fast as that can be.

In addition to extra-hard training, I’m using a lot of the added time to watch old replays. By watching my old hockey games, I can improve my weaknesses and learn from my mistakes in a more direct way. This should hopefully benefit our entire team shape as a whole, as well as my individual production.
When I’m done getting through replays, I will resume my normal training schedule. My normal schedule is still extremely time consuming, even with the quarantine, especially the food-making. My ordinary breakfast consists of making a dozen pancakes, 10 strips of bacon, 15 sausages, 5 eggs (scrambled, typically), 2 bowls of various fruit (strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, grapes, apple, bananas, whatever I can get my hands on), alongside a protein shake each and every morning. For lunch and dinner, I aim for maximizing my protein intake. Now, with the additional quarantine time, I have a few more free hours at night that I’m now spending playing Jackbox games on my computer with friends and teammates, rather than any in-person activities. Isolation doesn’t have to be lonely!
1. Sprints with Sara each morning. Turns out one of the fastest women in Europe under 20 years old knows a thing or two about getting faster. 30-meter block starts were starting to show up in dreams, but those and the sled pulls were doing wonders for his acceleration. She was still winning the head to head races, but she also wasn't hearing the end of "I'm pretty sure I'm getting closer to you".
2.Agility ladders with ankle weights, with and without a stick in hand. You have stay light on the feet, even when you're on the ice, and these drills that Wagner carried over from Austria have been dialed up to eleven to push one of the league’s up and coming quickest players.
3. Buying a weight bench. Being one of the lighter players has a ton of advantages, but it was probably too much of a good thing at this point. Jimmy needed to bulk up at least a bit to stop getting shoved around so much. That was going to help him on defense, with the puck, and without the puck on offense.
