It’s hard to narrow it down to 3. But I’ll try,
Karrlo Kekkonen @dankoa lightning fast, great hockey mind. Finds the open areas with ease. Can finish with the best of them. Speaking of finishing, don’t leave him alone with your mother. Karrlo is on the prowl. He’s feeling generous, and he wants to give some lucky kid a new stepdad. Cal Labovitch @Mutedfaith multi tool master quick feet and quick mind. Can turn on a time and make you pay for hesitating. Like how you are hesitating to propose to your girl who doesn’t care that you always smell like Mountain Dew and feet. He’s the kind of guy that will find your girl, take her out for a reasonable priced dinner at Olive Garden and ask her how her day was. Guy O’Shea @JSS331 O’Shea all day. That’s what his mom says. She even made little buttons that she hands out at games....if she only knew. If she only knew what kind of animal her son was. On and off the ice. Moves so smooth you can wipe your baby’s ass with them. In the locker room we call him land-o-lakes. He makes everything creamy...

The Berserkers have a great team forming with all the youth and vet talent on the team, it should make for some exciting hockey this season. We have several rookies that are going to surprise a lot of people. Our core players are of course going to lead the way. Goalie Cale Amundsen will look to showoff his very natural style and stop pucks in a superhuman way.
Our team also has a great one/two punch in Slatt Potts and of course Jukka Timmonen. This dynamic duo with give us stability on the front and back end. Amazing talents that will help the youth grow in the right direction. The Berserkers will be a team to watch this season especially as the season goes along. By the end of the season, our team will have found their chemistry and should be hitting on all cylinders. This will be a great season as my team mates are training hard and each one is there for the other. Truly a great team in the making.

The St. Louis Scarecrows are looking to end the season better than last year by winning the Championship in the SMJHL. After falling in the finals a year ago, the team is looking to raise the cup and finish the season as they wished they would have a year ago. The team is going to put a lot of there hope for accomplishing the goal on Elizabeth Doyle, Danny Marston and Sasha Dangelchek.
Elizabeth Doyle (@evok): She will be the main goalie for St. Louis. Luckily for the team, she was sent down even though she is good enough to be on an SHL roster. She is a stone wall and will be the backstop that will lead the team to the championship. Danny Marston (@Capt_Blitzkrieg): He was named captain for the team and showed in the pre-season that he was worthy of it. He lead the team in points and was even in goals and assists showing that he is both a playmaker and a scorer. Sasha Dangelchek (@acdangel): Sasha was named the assistant captain for the team and was the second highest scorer in the pre-season. Sasha will not only set-up teammates to score, he will also hit anything that he can to clear the lane for the rest of the team. These three players will lead the way for St. Louis to win the championship this season.

Raptors played good in off season and pre season, so we will fight for champion trophy all season long. We had amazing offense and good defense - we are ready
Anrijs Asts I am Anrijs Asts and I am new defender playing in third line. I think I will be better when season will be in the middle or ends. Will play big role when I will be better player Aumy Jr Aumy Jr is my brother and he is great defender as well - like me. He is now a little better than me and there are no thinking about how much Raptors will need and want to use him Sven Svenson Sven are forward who will play big role this and next season on our team. He is friendly and good player. He scored on pre season games and will score very much in regular season as well There are no way to beat Raptors this season and I think it is 100 % sure that Raptors will be champions this season +-170 words

The Armada had an amazing pre-season. We won 6 in a row to finish it up and are now ready to continue that streak into the regular season. We have a great group of rookies being led by amazing veterans. The balance here is really the key. M. Van Der Heijden is going to be a force to be reckoned with. As captain, he has already showed the qualities we want in a captain. Lando Norris is another key player. With a plus minus of plus 9, anytime he is on the ice we are in the offensive zone. Bork Lazer is another standout player in this team. He plays a hard game, and with 12 penalty minutes, you can tell he stands up for his teammates. He finds a way to combine the old style goon with the skill players of todays game. Look out for the Anchorage Armada this season.

The preseason is now over, and the regular season is under way. The Colorado Raptors will have some little things to work on as the games go by, but overall things are looking pretty good. The whole team works great as a unit. Advanced stats show it : for all the preseason and since the beginning of the season, every player has a positive (and, for most, a rather high) Corsi rating.
Although working great as a unit, a few players can already be identified as the most valuable players for the team this season. First is Bradley Barkov. The veteran defenseman is playing as well as one would have expected, or maybe even better. Tied for highest scorer of the preseason with nine points and with already two points in three games, his defensive play is also impeccable. A reassuring presence on the back end. Second is captain Simothy Drunkbird. The captain has made an incredible show of leadership in every game. The top tier of a very well-furnished group of centers (of which everyone has over 50% on the faceoff dot) is leading the team in points this season and already has a hat-trick, completed in the second game of the season, against Anaheim. Finally, a surprise who could turn out as a real plus for the Raptors. First free agent player signed after the draft, Noah Johns II is maintaining a point-per-game ratio as a fourth-liner, playing less than 12 minutes a game. He will surely keep improving as the season improve, and if he keeps it up will be putting pressure on the veteran right wingers ahead of him in the depth chart.

The Newfoundland Berzerkers are looking primed for a big run this year, having added several key rookies from the draft and the offseason. However, there are a few key players to the Berzerkers squad that will really need to be in form for the squad to be able to succeed:
Cale Amundsen (G): The primary goalkeeper for the Berzerkers will need to carry his stellar form from the preseason on to the regular season if the Berzerkers are going to make any sort of run. The defense is still very raw, and there is no doubt that Amundsen will see a lot of rubber flying his way, especially early on in the season. Jukka Timonen (D): The heart and soul of the Berzerker’s defense, Timonen will need to be rock solid while the rest of the rookies catch up. His efforts, early on, and through out the season, will be vital. Whether that in keeping the puck out of the net, or putting them in. SLATT Potts (RW): Every battalion is lead by their captain, and the Berzerkers are the same. Given the honour of the C by the players, SLATT Potts performances will be key in keeping spirits high during the lows, and helping the team soar during the highs. Word Count: 211

The Maine Timber, in the new season of a new home and a new sim, are looking to surprise some people and come out in a high spot in their division. Having had an abysmal record last season, though, it's up to them to find the motivation to turn things around and prove their worth. To do that, though, they're going to have to rely on the talents of 3 important players:
1. Patrick Shepard: The second of two rookie centers taken in this most recent draft by the Maine Timber, Shepard will be crucial in determining whether or not the Timber can rely on their centers. He and Konrad Danke, the other rookie center taken, represent the only two active centers currently on the team's roster. A late second rounder does not usually represent such a crucial player for his team in his rookie season, but Shepard will be relied on to support his fellow rookie center, if not surpass him. He's got a large load to carry, but being one of the highest trained rookies in the league, he seems up to the task. 2. Mikkel Ausmus Sondergard: Being the first overall pick comes with a lot of responsibility, especially when you're designated as the heir apparent to the departed best defenseman of a team. MAS is highly regarded for a reason, but he himself recognized that he wasn't where he wanted to be in terms of defensive performance after the preseason. It is widely recognized it was due to nerves, being in the league for the first time, and hopes are high that he will find himself leading the Timber's defensive corps, taking on the role he was drafted to fill, and becoming a huge part of the team's successes. 3. Indigo Trevino: The scoring ace of the Maine Timber, Indigo Trevino will have a large load to carry as he, Thicc Cheezy, and Al Kayhall attempt to deal with their new, young offensive pieces. He has his sights set on the scoring title this year, but to do so will be an incredibly tough feat as he will either have to line with a rookie or else have no true center on his line. Still, though, Trevino may just be the most talented scorer in the SMJHL, and many believe he has what it takes to carry this team to the next level, should his young teammates grow into their roles.

The Carolina Kraken is filled with young players. As expected, we struggled a bit in preseason but now know what key aspects we need to work on. It will take some time, but the only way we can go is up. Michael Lee is definitely a name to look out for. He was the Karken's top point scorer in preseason with 1 goal and 10 assists. Lee is a 2-way defenseman who also had 7 hits, 7 takeaways, and 15 shots blocked in the 7-game preseason. Another name to look out for is none other than Velveteen Dream. He is strong center who scored 7 points in preseason with a whopping 59.9% faceoff win percentage which leads the team. Lastly, keep your eye on Ben van Dijk. Ben is a tough defenseman who scored 4 points in preseason with a team tying 15 shots blocked and 11 hits. With continued improvement, Carolina will be a scary team in the years to come.

I think the Colorado Raptors have high exceptions ahead for this year, firstly being lead by left wing Sven Svenson. The team looks to be top heavy with a big first line that will be needed to do some of the scoring as the depth of the team will grow as the season goes on, but early on the 1st line is going to be crucial to the team being successful. On the back end Barkov is going to be leaned on heavily to be good on both sides of the puck, putting up points as well playing a shutdown role, his play might be the most vital to Colorado. Finally last but not least Beibitzhanov will have to be strong for the team this year and be the backbone of this team, as the depth of this team may struggle from time to time they'll need strong goaltender to have a good year.

The St. Louis Scarecrows have a strong returning group of players with a handful of rookies. Given that information, I wanted to look at players who could not only make an impact, but also grow as well. So we are going to look at some of the rookies.
Up first, is RW William Lockwood. William Lockwood has been a media machine during the preseason which will give them a good bank balance to continue to improve throughout the season. In the preseason, they had 1G, 2A for 3P while playing in a bottom 6 role. Spread out over the course of a full season, this would put them on track for around 10G, 20A, for 30P, respectable for their current role. Next, we have another forward, Grapefruit Lizard. In addition to having the best name in the league, they went 1-1 for 2 P in the preseason playing a 4th line role. Even given this, they played well defensively by having a GA/60 of 2.1, good for the 4th best on the team. If they can continue to improve than the team can rely on a good 4th line to help shut down the opposing teams, and possibly pitch in on offense. Finally, I wanted to talk about the rookie goalie, Richard Majors. The Scarecrows are in good hands for this season (barring a call-up) with Elizabeth Doyle, but they do still need to have a good backup. Having a rookie goalie can be challenging but Majors appears to be up to the challenge. Ending the preseason with a SV% of 0.911 over 4 games and a GAA of 3.18 is good enough to make sure the team has a chance to win no matter who is in net. He will continue to improve knowing that he is not going to have the pressure of being the primary goalie for the team.
