Henrik Lundqvist Jr deals with pandemic
#1

This pandemic of coronavirus has hit everyone even fictional hockey players. Henrik Lundqvist Jr worries for himself and his teammates. Also he worries about his family, he is around a lot of people and fans and he does not want to give a virus to his parents. He washes his hands a lot and tries to stay inside when he is not playing. He has asked for his fans and teammates to try to take this seriously too and hopes that the Raptors move to playing in front of an empty stadium at least. He does not really want the season to be canceled. He wants to finish his last year of juniors and try to improve his play. Everyone needs to do their part though to keep everyone safe and not keep this thing spreading.

The united states has a lot of cases now it is no longer just something far away that is not in this country. He knows he is not safe even in the beautiful state of Colorado. He is very in shape since he is an athlete so hopefully that puts him at less risk. He thinks he might have already had it and gotten better since he had a really bad cough and could not get out of bed for awhile. Fortunately he did not have to miss any games. There is a lot of fear though and nobody really knows what is happening. Hopefully the shl will take all of this seriously and do their part to protect everyone who is working for them. Nobody wants to lose any players or fans. It is a time of sadness that does not need to be any sadder.

It has been very tough to adjust to the changes. Not being able to see your friends is so sad and you feel completely alone. But everyone feels alone and everyone is alone, it is not just one person feeling sad. Hopefully sports and fun stuff can bring hope and happiness. It can be something to look forward to. It is a shame the nhl is not playing in real life even if it is a risk it would be something to do and something to enjoy. It seems like there is not much to enjoy anymore so it would be very good for people to have that. We need something. Henrik Lundqvist Jr has struggled with all of this but he hopes that the raptors going on with the season and maybe that he can play a role himself in giving hope to someone. He wants to help lift Colorado's spirits and to help with the sadness everywhere. Maybe if they got a cup this season it would mean extra because of what is going on around them. It would be extra encouraging and even more something that brings happiness to the fans. He knows that he still wants it and he will not let a crisis stop that.

This will end eventually probably soon if the social distancing works. And Colorado and Henrik Lundqvist Jr can hopefully come out of this stronger. Hopefully the whole SHL comes out of this stronger and more connected to their fans. Everyone will remember what is really important and remember to be nice to their families and friends. That would be a good end to a terrible situation. And it will prove that sports can be important to people's lives and help with terrible things even if they seem like just games and they don't help. The SHL is a reason for hope. Everyone needs hope.

So if Henrik Lundqvist Jr can bring hope to people and families he will do that. He will try to show on the ice how much he cares about Colorado. He will try to play better for the team. He will try to help everyone on his team get through the pandemic. He will try to show up with a smile and with kindness despite all that he is struggling with and the times. The situation will not let him act down and bring him down. He will choose to be happy and to try to inspire people. Colorado can be a place of happiness and fun. It can be a team that wins in the worst of times when it is needed most. When everything looks down, it is time for the team to go up. Something good has to happen and a good playoff run with maybe even a cup at the end of it all could be that one good thing that everyone really wants and is working for. Whatever Henrik Lundqvist can do to help with these brave goals and with keeping his team strong he knows he will. And if this is still going on when he goes up to West Kendall, which he hopes it will not be but he does not really know anything anymore and does not want to hope for it to end too soon, he will try to have a good rookie season in spite of that. He will try to bring hope there too and help his team lead the way to better days in the SHL.

Hopefully there are better days ahead for all of us. Hopefully this does not hurt more people and take more people away from us. Henrik Lundqvist Jr just wants people not to give up and to stick together. He wants the hockey community to lead the way and to help keep everyone watching them hopeful and as happy as possible. No matter what there is something to fight for and something left to acheive. Hockey teams can keep some dreams alive even as other ones seem far away. It can remind people of what it means to be strong and to do whatever it takes. They show what it means to work for something and to try to get it no matter what the odds are. That is a powerful message that more people need to hear.
