The Manhattan Rage are very proud to announce our partnership with the LGBTQ Community Center who partners with many non-profit organizations throughout New York City to help support those in need within the LGBTQ community. As a team, we are very proud to donate our time and resources to these organizations in hopes to make the world a better place for anybody of any sexuality, gender, or race.
With our partnership, we have worked tirelessly to create something we felt would represent the community well. While all organizations often represent pride in adjusting their logos, we wanted to go one step further and have introduced a jersey as well.
For all home games in the month of June, the Rage have requested the opponent wear their color jersey as we will be playing exclusively in this Pride jersey:
Likewise for home games, the Rage will be putting their pride logo on the rink in place of their normal logo so when watching the games (sims) keep an eye out as we try to continue to raise awareness and do our part as well.
While this jersey will be available in the team store, we will also be including a variation in the team store as well with our normal jersey having the adjusted Pride logo. Please see below for the copy of the jersey, which is available for purchase now. All proceeds of both jerseys will be donated to LGBTQ organizations in hopes that we can help build a path to a better tomorrow.
