S55 SMJHL Mid-Season Prospect Ranking
#1

Hello everyone. I have never been a part of a draft class this big, which gets me excited for the draft. There are so many good prospects, and it should make a for a crazy, impossible to predict draft at the end of the season. With that being said, were at the half-way point of the season now, and so, I wanted to see how this draft class was coming along. This led me to doing a mid-season prospect rankings. It was mainly for fun, but it ended up being super long, and more work then expected, so I’m glad I’ll be getting compensated for it, lmao.

As always with these types of things, please don’t get all worked up about it, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I know rankings can be very controversial, but like I said, this was mainly just for fun, and I’m really not looking to argue over somebody’s player being ranked 1 spot lower than they should be. Also, if something is wrong, that sucks, my bad, but I’m not going to go in and change things up because of that. This list is final.

Anyways, please keep in mind the following when reading:
- Only using players currently on an SMJHL roster, as of June 8th, 2020
- Data was finalized at 12:01 Monday, June 8th, 2020, to reflect everything up to last week’s updates.

I think that should cover it. If anyone actually reads it all, I appreciate you. Haha, enjoy people.

80th:  Kojo Murata - @j-malz – G – 160 TPE
Last Post: May 17th
Last Visit: May 22nd
Bank Account: $0 (Empty)
While Murata is under the Armada’s roster, he technically never signed his rookie contract after being drafted, which leaves him with an empty bank account. This, coupled with not being active over the last couple weeks, and standing at just 160 TPE, leaves him as our “Mr. Irrelevant”.

79th: Bob Poppinfresh - @bluebob22 – C – 158 TPE
Last Post/Visit: May 18th
Bank Account: $4,350,000 (Weak)
Our lowest rated center comes from the Maine Timber. Poppinfresh hasn’t logged on in weeks, and only has 4 posts, showing he never got too involved. Hopefully he comes back in the back half of the season.

78th: Bud Light Lime Bud Light Lime - @travis.stoffer – RD – 170 TPE
Last Post/Visit: May 19th
Bank Account: $6,370,000 (Alright)
The first defensemen to fall is Bud Light Lime. While a fan favorite, he hasn’t logged on in weeks.

77th: Jed Mosley Jr. - @JayTee – RD – 187 TPE
Last Post: May 19th
Last Visit: May 20th
Bank Account: $0 (Empty)
Despite his TPE being higher than plenty of players ahead of him, Mosley finds himself lower in the rankings due to him not logging on in weeks and having an empty bank account. Given that he’s already earned some TPE, he’s proven he is capable of doing it again, which is good enough to push him ahead of 3 others.

76th: Moritz Muller - @Brojoh456 – RW – 180 TPE
Last Post: May 18th
Last Visit: May 30th
Bank Account: $5,000,000 (Alright)
The first winger to fall is Muller. Another person who doesn’t appear to be active, but given that he last logged on more recently, he was pushed ahead of some others. Like Mosley, he’s proven he can earn some TPE, so he could jump up much higher if he comes back.

75th: Boris Voskoboynikov - @OldManSalmon – RW – 155 TPE
Last Post: May 29th
Last Visit: May 31st
Bank Account: $3,583,000 (Weak)
The first of 3 Voskoboynikov brothers on this list is Boris Voskoboynikov. With just 3 posts to his name, he has shown little involvement, and earned no TPE. The only reason he is ahead of some others is due to him having been active more recently.

74th:  Blip Blop - @ThatDamnWookiee – LD – 157 TPE
Last Post: May 20th
Last Visit: May 26th
Bank Account: $4,250,000 (Weak)
The legendary Blip Blop is down at 74 because he hasn’t logged on in a little while and earned just 2 TPE. With 28 posts, he has shown more involvement then the people below him, which carries him this far.

73rd: Ryan Anthony - @ryananthony18 – G – 155 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 3rd
Bank Account: $500,000 (Weak)
Anthony recently created but doesn’t seem to be too involved yet. With just 2 posts, and no TPE earned, it’s impossible to put him any higher than this. Still, he’s this high because he has been active more recently then those below him.

72nd: Sasha Voskoboynikov - @ShuckyDucky – C – 172 TPE
Last Post: May 29th
Last Visit: May 30th
Bank Account: $3,333,000 (Weak)
The second Voskoboynikov brother on the list is Sasha Voskoboynikov. Like his brother Boris, Sasha hasn’t logged on in over a week. At this point of the list, 172 TPE isn’t going to be enough to propel you much higher if you aren’t still updating, nor logging in to the site. How recently he was active, and his TPE numbers got Sasha this high, but prevent him from going any higher.

71st: Mertin Brodeur - @KarrdisBored – G – 177 TPE
Last Post: May 28th
Last Visit: May 29th
Bank Account: $4,300,000 (Weak)
Mertin is very similar to our last player, Sasha Voskoboynikov. Most of what was said about Sasha can be applied to Mertin, but his higher TPE count, and bigger bank account give him the edge between the two.

70th: John Amsel - @FreeHoSang – RW – 173 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 2nd
Bank Account: $3,750,000 (Weak)
Amsel is similar to Ryan Anthony, who was 3 spots lower on the list. The difference between the two is Amsel has earned some TPE. While Anthony is held back by his ability to earn TPE, and his activity, for Ho-Sang, it’s just the latter. If he were more involved (currently has just 6 posts), he would likely be higher on this list.

69th: Jonas Muller - @Simmie58 – RW – 181 TPE
Last Post: May 30th
Last Visit: June 1st
Bank Account: $4,850,000 (Weak)
Muller is another player that finds himself low on the list because of his inability to log on consistently. The people below him struggling with the same thing, as well as his TPE count earns him this spot, but he needs to be more active to move any higher.

68th: Jonathan Lillehammer - @Scheetzzy – RW – 167 TPE
Last Post: May 31st
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $5,300,000 (Alright)
The first player on the list whose last visit is as recent as yesterday, is Lillehammer. While he did log on yesterday, that’s not enough. To move up higher on the list, Lillehammer needs to earn more TPE, and be more involved, with his last post dating back to May 31st. The fact that he did log on yesterday is good enough to put him ahead of the first chunk of players below him.

67th: Hennesey-Gallchobhar O'McGuiness - @the_paytonium – RD – 170 TPE
Last Post: June 1st
Last Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $3,000,000 (Weak)
O’McGuiness is similar to Lillehammer, in that they both are still logging on consistently, but in order to move higher up in the rankings you need to be updating consistently or show the potential to do so in the future. The two of them fail to do so. O’McGuiness is ranked higher than Lillehammer solely due to having more TPE.

66th: Big Drincc - @LB.  – RW – 155 TPE
Last Post: May 26th
Last Visit: June 2nd
Bank Account: $11,150,000 (Healthy)
Drincc has yet to update, which would suggest that he should be towards the bottom, but he ranks higher than a good portion of players because of his reputation. While there is little reason to believe that those below him will be updating consistently, @LB. has been successful here before, and could be again. Should he come back he could be a sleeper pick in the draft, due to what would be a lower than average TPE count.

65th: Kyle Izzy - @Samee – LW – 155 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $10,251,500 (Healthy)
Much like Drincc, Izzy is this high because of his potential. He hasn’t updated, but due to past success, it’s much easier to imagine him updating consistently then those below him, and he has still been visiting the site, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise. Still, having earned no TPE to date he can’t be placed higher.

64th: Biggs Secksy - @BadLck – LW – 192 TPE
Last Post: May 29th
Last Visit: May 31st
Bank Account: $3,500,000 (Weak)
Secksy is one of the last players on the list who I would call inactive at the moment, but in saying that, he has earned nearly 40 TPE, proving he is more than capable of making a good player should his activity pick up again.

63rd: William Reynolds - @sharksisback – RW – 190 TPE
Last Post: May 26th
Last Visit: June 6th:
Bank Account: $94,965,000 (Loaded)
At this point nearly everyone is logging on consistently. It’s factors such as how much they are involved (last post), their TPE count, and their bank account that determine where they stand. For Reynolds, he hasn’t been involved recently, and with 190 TPE, it’s hard to put him above anyone else, despite his ridiculous bank account.

62nd: Sergei Voskoboynikov - @FullyDynamic – LW – 177 TPE
Last Post: June 2nd
Last Visit: June 5th:
Bank Account: $2,833,000 (Weak)
The last of the Voskoboynikov brothers is Sergei. He finds himself quite a bit higher than his brothers because he has simply been more active. His TPE count is higher, and he’s logged on, as well as been involved more. It’s harder to put him much higher because his TPE count is low in comparison to most people left on the list, and he needs to stay active for longer to prove that he can catch some of the people ahead of him.

61st: Juli Schneider - @RiderLAK – LW – 192 TPE
Last Post: June 2nd
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $1,065,000 (Weak)
Schneider is a tad lower than his TPE totals suggest due to having missed an update this past week, and not being involved as much recently. Hopefully this past week has been a one-off, and he can get back to updating regularly. In the case that he does, he will need to earn some money, as his bank account is very weak.

60th: Fleetway Super Sonic - @Taxman100 – RD – 168 TPE
Last Post: June 7th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $3,775,000 (Weak)
Fleetway created his player yesterday and has already applied 13 TPE. There isn’t a whole lot to go on for someone who just created, but given that he applied TPE straight away, it suggests that he is eager to earn TPE and improve his player. He could flame out after only being active for a day, and his TPE is low at the moment, which is why he can’t be placed any higher. With that being said, he could just as easily be crazy active, so he’s been placed at a spot which reflects the potential he has, while also respecting those who have shown they can be active and are above him in the rankings.

59th: Juni Panda - @juniped – RW – 172 TPE
Last Post: June 4th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $3,300,000 (Weak)
Panda is very similar to Super Sonic. The two are very new, and already earned some TPE, which gives them potential. But you can’t put them higher than people with a lot more TPE, or people who have updated consistently for a longer period of time. Hopefully the two of them continue to update, and if they do, they should be higher on the list come draft time.

58th: Nathan Thomas - @KaleSalad – RD – 186 TPE
Last Post: June 7th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $2,500,000 (Weak)
Thomas is someone who has been consistent in updating by claiming training and activity checks every week, but he has yet to do a PT. His consistency gets him this high, but at this point in the list, most people are doing PT’s, and as such, show that they have more potential. His bank account is also cause for concern. If you are not involved that much, and are claiming training every week, there will come a time when you run out of money, and then you are left with nothing but activity checks to claim every week. Thomas is the kind of player that you know what you are getting with. He’s got a higher floor then some, but not a very high ceiling. At least, for now.

57th: Jax Gracie - @Im_A_Boonana – LW – 204 TPE
Last Post: May 27th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $10,545,000 (Healthy)
The first player above 200 TPE on this list is Jax Gracie. Gracie is slightly lower than his TPE suggests he should be, mainly due to his recent activity, in which he didn’t update last week, and hasn’t posted since May 27th. His TPE and bank account are both helping him, but unless he starts updating again, the only place he will be moving is down in the rankings.

56th: Cam Nosreh - @Mac – RW – 195 TPE
Last Post: May 30th
Last Visit: June 4th
Bank Account: $3,295,000 (Weak)
Nosreh is pretty much exactly where his TPE places him. Originally, having had a successful player before in the SHL, it was thought that he would be higher on the list, but what’s keeping him from moving up is his activity. Having missed this past weeks’ worth of updates, he finds his activity in question, which the majority of players in front of him don’t have any issues with. He’s this high because of his TPE, and his reputation, but if he doesn’t pick it up, he could fall down the rankings.

55th: Brandt Underton - @The_Drizzle – C – 185 TPE
Last Post: June 5th
Last Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $2,292,000 (Weak)
Underton is another new player who created late and was signed as a free agent. Since then, he has impressed by earning a solid amount of TPE and writing media to ensure he has enough cash. This was practically as high as he could go, seeing as most people from this point on have higher TPE, and are just as active. As is the case with all the fresh faces, if he keeps it up, he will likely move up the rankings by draft time.

54th: James Kimanje - @"VRTX L4S3R" – RW – 195 TPE
Last Post: June 2nd
Last Visit: June 4th
Bank Account: $3,600,000 (Weak)
Kimanje is about where he should have expected to fall, given his TPE. His activity isn’t as great as the people above him, but he has updated consistently so far, which prevents him from dropping.

53rd: Domenic Alessandrini - @kylecorbett42 – LW – 222 TPE
Last Post: May 31st
Last Visit: May 31st
Bank Account: $7,555,000 (Alright)
Alessandrini is the last player on the last that I would deem inactive at the moment. He hasn’t checked in for over a week now. In the event that he comes back, he will likely shoot up the list, as he was right up near the top of the list in terms of TPE, prior to missing this past week’s updates. His 222 TPE gets him this far, but as the season progresses it will mean less and less, and he will only fall down the rankings if he doesn’t come back.

52nd: Stan Q. Next - @iamslm22 – C – 218 TPE
Last Post: June 4th
Last Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $31,102,000 (Loaded)
When you glance over Stan you would expect a higher placement on this list. With 218 TPE, some recent activity, and a loaded bank account, Stan seems to be setup well. But, when you dive into to check out what Next has really been up to, you see that he has only made 1 post since May 30th (missing last week’s update in the process), and just 4 since May 25th. Having the early start ahead of the draft helped Next’s TPE, but he seems to be flaming out, and if he doesn’t up his activity, he could fall farther down then this.

51st: Blunt Man - @Obsidian311 – G – 196 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $8,875,000 (Alright)
I’ll keep this blunt. Blunt Man is active, but he missed this last week’s update, and has the lowest TPE of anyone left at this point. Hopefully this past week was a one-off, as he could have been a little higher had he updated.

50th: Harry Walker - @chilidawg – LD – 203 TPE
Last Post: June 2nd
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $4,302,000 (Weak)
Creeping into the top 50 we have Harry Walker. From this point onwards, everyone is over 200 TPE, and fairly active, so it’s hard to differentiate. Unfortunately for Walker, he is on the lower end in terms of TPE and hasn’t been as active as those above him. For Walker to be at 50, it shows just how good this draft class is, as he would be a good pick for any SHL team, based on what we know so far.

49th: Hubert Andrews - @hughesab – C – 210 TPE
Last Post: June 2nd
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $4,840,000 (Weak)
Andrews is much like Walker. Difference being he has a slightly better bank account, and more TPE. Unfortunately, he isn’t as active as anyone above him, so this was as high as he could go. If he gets more involved, or grows his bank account, he could rise up the rankings.

48th: Keisuke Suzuki - @rieksts – G – 210 TPE
Last Post: June 4th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $10,476,000 (Healthy)
Suzuki, like our last 2 players, is down here due to his TPE, and his activity. While he is involved enough to be considered a solid prospect, and earns his fair share of TPE, he simply hasn’t been able to keep up with those ahead of him.

47th: Juan Hunna-Pussent - @AdamS – LW – 231 TPE
Last Post: May 30th
Last Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $5,154,000
Hunna-Pussent is much lower than his TPE suggests he should be. This is due to him not being involved over the last week, and as such missing the update. Being gone for over a week is enough to drop you down the list quite a bit at this point, and as much TPE as you have, it won’t get you placed higher than those close to you, and still very active.

46th: Leonids Balzams - @Cyanide – RW – 205 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $16,050,000 (Healthy)
Balzams was someone that really should have been higher. He is a free agent signing who has done a good job of playing catchup, has a healthy bank account, and is very active. In saying that, he still has work to do, as it’s hard to put him above others who have done the same, given that his TPE is lower. With a class this good, being active can only get you so high, and TPE ends up being one of the only things to differentiate people. Balzams could be a great pick deep in the draft at 46 in the rankings.

45th: Igor Victory - @Wearingabear – LD – 218 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $1,000,000 (Weak)
Victory has done well so far, earning TPE almost everyone he can get it, but he’s been outdone by some players. Still, being a first-gen it is impressive, and he would likely be ranked higher, if he had more in his bank account. Victory only has enough money for 2 more weeks of training, so if he doesn’t start writing media, submitting graphics, or doing twitter, he will have to forfeit some TPE. Hopefully he starts making some money and continues doing his thing, as he looks like a promising prospect.

44th: Cody Spinka - @CapoPirate – C – 219 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $1,050,000 (Weak)
Spinka is in practically the exact same situation as Victory. A promising first-gen, who needs to earn some more cash to ensure he can continue to earn TPE and keep up with the rest of the class. He’s got 1 more TPE, and an extra $50,000, so he gets placed above Victory, but like I said, the two are practically in the same boat here.

43th: Lord Raiden - @Jumbobone19 – C – 217 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $1,390,000 (Weak)
Raiden is just like Victory and Spinka. 3 Promising first-gen’s who need to make some money to move up this list. He’s ahead of the other two because he’s got almost an extra week’s worth of training in his bank account.

42rd: Lonnie O’Donoghue - @Good_Ole_Kimmy – RD – 217 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $13,197,000 (Healthy)
Rumors suggest that O’Donoghue has had some players who haven’t had much success in the SHL, and that kind of reputation is going to hurt you in a draft class like this. He wouldn’t be much higher with a decent reputation anyways, given his TPE at the moment, but unless he can shake that reputation, it will be hard to climb much further than this moving forward.

41st: Lassi Suhonen - @teztify – C – 207 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $31,775,000 (Loaded)
Suhonen is a good amount higher than his TPE suggests he should be, largely due to his reputation. He has had several successful SHL players, and has a great reputation around the league, which will likely see him getting taken quite high at draft time. Regardless, his TPE prevents him from going any higher than this.

40th: Walton Stromberg - @sulovilen – C – 230 TPE
Last Post: June 1st
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $1,220,000 (Weak)
Similar to the trio of first gens we had earlier, Stromberg’s bank account is the main reason he isn’t much higher. That, coupled with his lack of activity recently, pushes him further down in the rankings. He’s got a fantastic 230 TPE, but with just over 1 Million left in the bank account he’s only got a couple more weeks of training left. He needs to get to work and grow that bank account, and he could move up.

39th: Jamex Boxman II - @siddhus – C – 217 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $2,500,000 (Weak)
Boxman is higher than some of his fellow first gens mostly because of his bank account. He’s still good to grab top training for another 5 weeks, and he’s very active. The only thing preventing him from going further up the list is, he has less TPE then those above him, and although his bank account is bigger than some of the other first gens, it is by no means well off.

38th: Zakkira Diporov - @TheSparkyDee – RW – 219 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $2,413,000 (Weak)
Diporov is similar to Boxman. The difference between the 2 lying at 2 TPE. He’s another high quality first-gen who needs to keep it up and continue to build up his bank account to be placed higher.

37th: Teddy Park - @trashae – LD – 230 TPE
Last Post: June 1st
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $5,000,000 (Alright)
Park has done well for himself so far, placing high in the TPE charts and building up a solid bank account. He simply hasn’t been too active on the boards of late, but should he get more involved, he could go quite a bit higher.

36th: Sven Gunnar - @Southie – C – 235 TPE
Last Post: June 1st
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $3,400,000 (Weak)
Gunnar is very similar to Park. Both of which haven’t been too active of late, but Gunnar was more active prior to that, and collected 5 more TPE along the way, giving him the edge. While his bank account is lower, and does need to built up some more, it’s not threatening his ability to train every week. Again, if he gets more involved, he will likely go higher than 36.

35th: Taylor Gervaise - @Pamplemousse – RW – 242 TPE
Last Post: June 1st
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $5,500,000 (Alright)
A bit of a theme here isn’t it? Yes, that’s the third person in a row who not only has been placed lower than their TPE would suggest they should be but is also placed there for the same reasons. That being, they haven’t been as active as the people above them of late. For these last 3 players, their impressive work up to last week got them this high but having not been involved as much as late could be a sign of them falling off, which drops them all lower down the list then others at their TPE levels, and still being very active.

34th: Daniil Nakiforov - @DELIRIVM – C – 225 TPE
Last Post: June 3rd
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $36,390,000 (Loaded)
Daniil has looked good so far, bunched up with a lot of players in the 220-230 TPE range. What lands him at 34th is his impressive bank account, and consistency. While maybe not crazy active, he is good to come on and update each week, do PT’s, and not have to worry about his bank account.

33rd: Wile Coyote - @Brucehum – C – 221 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $3,900,000 (Weak)
Coyote finds himself ahead of some of the other first-gens because of his consistency, and while not good, still better bank account. He is more active then the likes of a Nakiforov, while having a better bank account then a Spinka, or a Victory. He’s the most well rounded first-gen thus far, earning himself the 33rd rank.

32nd: Jason Desrouleaux - @Gooney – LW - 223 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $25,354,619 (Strong)
Desrouleaux is another player with a good reputation, which helps him. He likely would have been placed higher, but he missed last week’s update. He is still active, so I wouldn’t raise the alarm bells, but missing an update could be a sign of a lack of motivation, and that, along with his TPE are the primary reasons for him being at 32.

31th: Guðmundur Kristjánsson - @Fluw – RW – 224 TPE
Last Post: June 4th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $40,863,000 (Loaded)
Here we have Kristjánsson. This is another player who has looked good so far and done almost everything right. What’s holding him back is perhaps his reputation, and his TPE. His last SHL player didn’t exactly pan out, which may turn away some SHL general managers. His TPE isn’t high enough to deflect away from that at this point of the rankings.

30th: Junior Guardo - @Loco – G – 228 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $11,126,000 (Healthy)
Much like Kristjánsson, Guardo’s reputation and TPE earns him the 30th spot. Climbing into the top 30 is a good accomplishment, but having a rough career with his last player, it puts his potential into question. Everyone is looking good at this point, so your reputation is a massive factor in where you land, and unfortunately for Guardo, it isn’t helping him here.

29th: Nicolae Antonescu - @Rancidbudgie – G – 223 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $25,652,000 (Strong)
Here we have the third player in a row who is at their spot because of their past. Antonescu has looked good so far, but with 2 former players that have flamed out, you have to wonder how many chances he is going to get before SHL general managers decide to go in another direction. He’s ahead of Kristjánsson and Guardo because he has been more active this go around, let’s hope he keeps it up.

28th: TURG TURG - @ThisSeemsFishy – 223 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $16,237,000 (Healthy)
We’re following a pattern here. TURG has had a player who didn’t pan out, which is the main reason why he is here at 28. He’s also among the lowest in TPE at this point, so he’s got some work to do to catch up to his peers, if he wants to move higher. He has been very active, which puts him ahead of the others in this situation.

27th: Pavel Kharlamov - @RippleLuck – RW – 235 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $18,925,000
There were 4 players in that 220-230 TPE range with troubled history, and Kharlamov is the first of another 5 in the 235-245 range. Kharlamov has had several attempts at making a player before, none of which have panned out. While things are looking good so far, its hard to put him any higher than this. Here’s hoping this player is the one.

26th: James Hagan - @CampinKiller – LW – 237 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $40,972,727 (Loaded)
With 237 TPE, Hagan has stormed out of the gate, near the top of the class in TPE. His numerous attempts to create a successful player before, that didn’t go so well, are the primary reason for him landing at 26.

25th: Alexander Oscarsson - @Zema – RW – 241 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $8,850,000 (Alright)
Oscarsson has had 1 player before, which was very short lived. Having only gone inactive once before, it shouldn’t hurt him too much, but on the flip side, its hard to gauge how much potential he has, seeing as he never even got to the SHL with his last player. Putting that aside, he has looked very good so far, and has an alright bank account. If he keeps it up it’s not hard to imagine SHL general managers looking past his history and taking a chance on him.

24th: Axel Foley - @Mazatt – LD - 243 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $45,600,000 (Loaded)
Foley is similar to Oscarsson, in that he has had one short lived player in the past, who didn’t even make it to the SHL. His impressive bank account, activity, and TPE put him ahead of Oscarsson, and like him, he could be taken higher if people are able to look past his history.

23rd: Asclepius Perseus Flitterwind - @CaptainCrazy – RW – 244 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $21,975,000 (Strong)
Flitterwind is the last of this “troubled history” group of players that we have gone on a bit of a run with here. He has looked the best of the bunch, getting the most TPE, with a strong bank account, and being very active. Like the rest of them, he could be taken higher if SHL general mangers can look past his history.

22nd: Sammy Blaze - @hockeyfan – C – 221 TPE
Last Post: June 5th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $10,540,000 (Healthy)
Blaze is another person that, in most classes, would be much higher. He simply hasn’t earned as much TPE compared those above him, but he is still active, has a healthy bank account, and a good reputation. Spot 22 is nothing to be ashamed of, and Blaze would be a good pick for any SHL team.

21st: Ryu Jones - @SFresh3 – LW – 227 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $3,525,000 (Weak)
The last first-gen on the list was down at 33, so there is quite a leap here. Jones has looked great so far, earning the most TPE of any first-gen up to this spot in the rankings, while maintaining a bank account that should get him through the season. What’s keeping him from moving up is, ironically, that bank account. More established players have much better bank accounts, that won’t limit their earnings anytime soon. Prior reputation is also a factor, as there are plenty of recreates with successful players who Jones can’t be placed ahead of. Still, to rank 21 as a first-gen in a class like this, is very impressive.

20th: Jöörgüštrâäd DuBølk - @MCP_ - LD - 220
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $28,470,000 (Strong)
Well, we’ve finally reached the top 20. Congrats to everyone who has earned their spots here. By far the lowest in terms of TPE left at this point, DuBølk’s reputation earned him this spot. Being a general manager in the SHL, it’s safe to assume that he isn’t going anywhere, and should be highly committed to the SHL. He can’t go any higher because although he is a safe bet, so are most of the others at this point, and for those that aren’t, they still look good and he’s far off of them in TPE.

19th: Victor Ball - @jcfbey01 – RW – 227 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $8,850,000 (Alright)
Ball falls at 19 due to his TPE, and his bank account. He has been active so far, but those above him have more TPE, and either a great reputation, or a bigger bank account. Ball didn’t really do anything wrong, but I would suggest he improves his bank account, and maybe he could move up. Still, he is a great pick at 19 in our rankings.

18th: Young Logo - @Loganjj21 – RW – 231 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $19,325,000 (Healthy)
Logo, similar to Blaze and Ball, is a recreate with a pretty good reputation, who has done well so far. He’s earned more TPE than the other 2, while also maintaining a healthy bank account. He would be a good pick at 18. Unfortunately, while he does have a good reputation, those in front of him have a better one, or a much higher bank account, and his TPE isn’t high enough to take away from that.

17th: Jesse Seppanen - @crutch – LW – 224 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $10,188,000 (Healthy)
Seppanen is perhaps higher than his TPE recommends, in most part because of his reputation. Seppanen has made several good players and is a very active member of the community. He can’t go much higher because he’s low on TPE in comparison to everyone left. Again, he hasn’t necessarily done anything wrong, it’s just that those above him have earned more TPE and have a good reputation too.

16th: Alex Marshall - @DonutDefender – RW – 228 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $34,850,000 (Loaded)
Marshall finds himself at 16 in most part due to his TPE. His reputation, and his bank account help him out, but he’s got the lowest TPE out of anyone remaining, and no reason to be placed ahead of them. As has been the case with our last couple of players, this is another player who hasn’t done anything wrong, and would be a good pick at 16.

15th: Conner Hutton - @overdoo – RD – 233 TPE
Last Post: June 4th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $6,511,000 (Alright)
Our first recreates since Jones, is Hutton. Making it inside the top 20 as a first-gen in this draft class is so impressive. Hutton deserves it, after building up one of the best bank accounts of a first-gen to this point. He’s been active, but those ahead of him either have a better reputation, much bigger bank account, and/or more TPE. Still, an excellent grab at 15.

14th: Adrik Barbanov - @Jorec – LD – 231 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $23,600,000 (Strong)
Barbanov has had a number of very successful players before and is a welcomed addition back to the SHL. He has been very active so far, and with a strong back account, looks to be a very good pick for any SHL team. His reputation is boosting him up here a little bit, but it’s well earned. TPE is what is keeping him from being ranked any higher.

13th: Zelma Zuntnere - @Jogurtaa – LW – 238 TPE
Last Post: June 5th
Last Visit: June 6th
Bank Account: $106,080,000 (Loaded)
Zuntnere is another recreate who has had a number of players in the SHL, some of which have been very successful. Zuntnere’s good reputation, absolutely amazing bank account, and high TPE are good enough to get rank 13. Activity and TPE are what prevent Zelma from going any higher though, as almost everyone left has earned more TPE, and is equal to, if not more active.

12th: Ryan Rieley - @Brandon – LW – 236 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 3rd
Bank Account: $25,674,000 (Strong)
Rieley is another player who has a fantastic reputation. It seems as though he has been active for all of SHL’s existence, and he has held numerous quality positions such as general manager of an SHL team. His reputation helps him get here, but he’s also been earning a lot of TPE, and with a strong bank account, is deserving of the 12th spot. TPE is the primary attribute holding him back from going any higher, as he is the lowest earning player left at this point, and everyone above him are obviously outstanding prospects in their own right.

11th: Devin Basher - @HanTheMan_ - RW – 243 TPE
Last Post: June 6th
Last Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $6,100,000 (Alright)
Another first-gen, this time its Basher, from the Vancouver Whalers. Basher has looked terrific so far, being with the top of the class in TPE, and amassing a good bank account for a first-gen. He isn’t as active as some of those above him, and he doesn’t have a reputation to fall back on, so 11 was as high as he could go.

10th: Theo Kondos - @Ohtaay – LW – 242 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $76,214,000 (Loaded)
Inside the top 10 now, it is incredibly difficult to rank all these terrific prospects. Kondos is the highest rated LW in this class, and a case could easily be made that he should go higher. He has a good reputation, is with the top of the class in terms of TPE, and an incredible bank account. While a terrific prospect, he’s down at 10 primarily because he hasn’t shown the potential to make a star player (which at this point everyone else has done), based off his previous players, who were good, but not great.

9th: Colin Lambert - @rum_ham – LD – 243 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $80,097,000 (Loaded)
Lambert has been one of the most active prospects so far this season, and his stats reflect that. Right near the top of the class in TPE, with a massive bank account behind him, he is setup well for the draft. Much like Kondos, he isn’t higher because his previous players, while good, may not have been as successful as some of those above him. Still, an excellent pick at 9.

8th: Chris Goodname - @kikish18 – RD – 243 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $29,800,000 (Strong)
Goodname has had a brilliant start to the season. With the top of the class in TPE, a strong bank account, and a good reputation to build off, he should be a sure fire 1st round pick. Again, he isn’t higher because his last player wasn’t as successful as other, as well as not being consistently active on SHL for as long as some of the others. Expect this to be another great pick at 8.

7th: Peter Ramsey - @Hoovuh – G – 241 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $25,917,000 (Strong)
The highest rated goalie in the class, Ramsey has had multiple successful players, and such has a great reputation. Like the last couple players, this would be a great pick. There isn’t a whole lot separating the people in the top 10, leading it be mostly based off reputation and potential. Ramsey’s reputation puts him ahead of the likes of Kondos, Lambert, and Goodname, but he doesn’t have the same potential as those above him, which lands him here at 7.

6th: Mack Daddy - @Mack – C – 244 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $43,954,000 (Loaded)
Mack Daddy is the highest rated center in this class, and for good reason. He has had multiple successful players in the past and has been active on SHL for what feels like forever. He looks to be on his way to creating another great player here and is well equipped to do so with a great bank account. Given that he is a recreate, he likely has a higher floor then those above him, but he’s been placed down at 6 because the first-gens who made it into the top 5 have very high potential, which Mack Daddy may not be able to match.

5th: Johhny Shuffleboard - @mee – RD – 242 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $11,477,000 (Healthy)
Shuffleboard is a first-gen who managed to crack the top-5 in this incredible draft class. That is crazy impressive, but he deserves it. Shuffleboard is right up there at the top of the class in terms of TPE, has been consistently active, and has developed a great bank account for a first-gen. Having 11 Million in your bank account is good enough for a recreate, let alone a first-gen in his rookie season. To have built up this good bank account, and grabbed all of the TPE available, it’s clear Shuffleboard is a top prospect, and deserving of a spot in the top-5. He’s got star potential and should be a 1st round pick come draft time.

4th: Terrence “Big Terry” Smith - @Puljujarvi98 – RD – 244 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $22,098,000 (Strong)
Back-to-back first-gens here at 4 and 5, as it’s Terry Smith up next. Much of what applied to Shuffleboard, can be said about Smith. They have both proven they are great point earners, while also building up good bank accounts. Smith is ahead of Shuffleboard because he’s practically doubled his bank account, which will go along way in the SHL. Once again, this is a prospect with star potential, who should go in the 1st round of the draft.

3rd: Liam Slate - @Tylar – RW – 245 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $64,341,000 (Loaded)
The highest rated RW, and the last forward to be ranked is Liam Slate. The SMJHL Draft’s 1st overall pick has delivered on all fronts so far. He’s tied with 1 other player for the highest TPE in the class, has been very active, and has a huge bank account. He has made several great players before, and it looks as though he is going to be doing so again. His consistency, activity, and reputation earn him rank 3 in the class, and one can assume that it will lead to him being a 1st round pick at the end of the season. All that’s left to ask is whether he can make it 2 for 2 and go 1st overall in the SHL draft as well. The only reason he isn’t ranked number 1 is because of the stellar potential that the 2 players above him offer.

2nd: Rikard Bjerg - @AgentSmith630 – RD – 245 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $30,400,000 (Loaded)
Rikard Bjerg is this season’s highest rated first-gen. Tied with Slate for the highest TPE in the class, Bjerg looks to be an amazing prospect. He has been very active all season and amassed a bank account of over 30 Million. That’s crazy. Earning over 30 Million in his first season shows that Bjerg is passionate and dedicated to his craft. He hasn’t missed an opportunity to better himself yet, and it’s expected that will continue. Bjerg is star potential and should be a top pick in the draft.

1st: Kolja Kekkonen - @WannabeFinn – RD – 244 TPE
Last Post/Visit: June 7th
Bank Account: $58,099,000 (Loaded)
The moment you’ve all been waiting for. The number 1 rated prospect in this draft class is… Kolja Kekkonen. Kolja has proven time and time again that he can make a star player. Reaching upwards of 2,000 TPE with his last player, currently at the helm of an SHL team, and one of the most active members on SHL, it was never really in doubt. Kekkonen is the best prospect available this year, and should be taken 1st overall.
