The Challenge Cup: A Choose your own Adventure (Not Ready)
#1

(Note to graders, please do not grade while this message is here)

You step on to the ice for the seventh game of the Challenge Cup.  After a rough season where your team has battled constantly against the rest of the division and almost missing out on the playoffs in general, you have battled your way here to Game 7.  This is your first season in the SHL and you feel lucky and gracious enough to be on a team with skilled veteran core.  You are looking to make an impact on this game and really want to find a way to do something meaningful so your team can take this cup home.

Will you risk yourself and win it all? Will you skate by and let others have grand moments? Or will you lose the cup and look back on this year with crushed dreams?

This will all be decided based on the actions you take.

Along the road you will gain keywords as abilities, it will be up to you to remember what you gain so I recommend writing them down (there arent so many). These will influence some decisions you can make and the endings you get.

WARNING: This will suck for mobile users as each link will open a new tab, I was hoping it wouldn't but got no such luck.

Welcome to!!!

SHL: A Challenge Cup Odyssey

As you walk into the colosseum the roar of the crowd is almost too much to bear. Always the games before had a certain way about them that belayed a sense of life or death.  Not true death mind you, but death by overwhelming pressure.  You always wondered if you would come out of this a diamond in the rough or just a piece of charcoal.

This year has been your proving ground so far.  You aren’t a star rookie by any means but you’ve thrown up 25 points in your first season.  Your physical strength is pretty good and you can throw a punch or two if provoked.  You have good defensive knowledge, but you aren’t very polished yet. You are a power forward by nature and you try to evaluate your ice time to strategize between that or an area sniper. Your skating skills are a little above average with your strength and youth usually being enough to push some of the older players out of your way.  It would be good to remember to play to your strengths in the games to come.

As each player gets their name called and they race out from the dugout you cant help but feel an equal amount of excitement and dread.  Finally, you can see the people up ahead of you, and there are only two other players in the line.  Soon there is just one.  Soon you hear your name blaring over the loudspeaker as they announce the rookie to a crowd that is just deafening.

ADVENTURE TO COME
I will post when it is completed. I need this post as a placeholder
