You're about halfway through the wrap-around when you see that the goalie is just a fraction to slow to follow you for some reason. Maybe they had a brief breakdown but it's up to you to capitalize.

They look to be ready to guard with the stick, but you have to believe in the strength that you've had ever since you were a kid.
You loop around the back and zero in on the tiny hole that is left as the goalie is leaving mid slide.

You take your stick and you jam that sucker with the puck right into that corner but are met with resistance.

The goalie's stick has made it and for you now have come to realize that this is a battle of wills.

You lock eyes with the goalie as a single bead of perspiration rolls down your forehead.

Before you realize it, you are screaming as you force that sucker through the goalies stick and right into the net.

BUZZZZZZZZZZ

Go to your ending

You're halfway through your wraparound trick when a brilliant idea posses you.

This is the idea of a goal so legendary that it hadn't ever been attempted in the SHL before.

Until now that is.

If no one else was going to give it a go it might as well be you. The goalie is looking down and sliding as they expect the goal to come in down low. Why would they think anything else?

You scoop the puck up onto your stick in one fluid motion and before the goalie can react to the fact that you didn't pop out where they expected... you deposit the puck right behind their right shoulder blade.

The crowd is stunned... Who would have thought that a game-winning goal in a game 7 would be done so brazenly?

BUZZZZZZZZ

Go to your ending

You just spent a lot of energy making that fancy move and you've successfully beaten the defender who is now behind you about a half step. You don't have a whole lot of space to make a shot and snipe from here. In this split second, you had figured that your best plan was to hold on to the puck yourself and make some kind of attempt at scoring a goal.

This entire game seems like it has boiled down to a few decisions that you had made, and you feel like the puck on your stick is the safest place to be.

The goalie locks in on your body. You can tell he is watching your hands just waiting to see if you snap a wrister.

Unfortunately for him, you've already made the decision to blaze past him with a nice wrap around.

As the goalie almost breaks his kneck while you whizz by you get about halfway behind the goal when two thought pop into your head.

You want to score a goal here

Do you:

Do a full wraparound and jam the puck in?

Or

Attempt a lacrosse style goal

You just made a fancy move and blew past the defender. Unfortunately, you are coming up to the goal quickly and you are just not sure if you can pull off the moves necessary to secure the win for the team. Good for you that you have a reliable team behind you who have definitely trained to be ready on the fly. This 2v2 is going to quickly become a 5v5 and with that awareness, you know what the rest of your team is trained to do.

With the defender a half step behind of you and the goalie in front ready for just about any front-facing attack you decide to go for the scare tactic. If you can just rattle the brain of the goalkeeper he might not be ready to see the assaults from a different angle.

As you use every muscle in your body to control your stop outside of the crease you notice that you possibly have two options.

Out of the corner of your eye you see your teammate in the clear ready for a one-timer after you drew their defender in. On the other hand, this might be too obvious to the goalie who will be expecting the pass as soon as you dish it.

On the other hand if someone is doing what they supposed to do. Right behind you in center ice there will be another player ready for the puck.

Do you:

Drop the puck back for the phantom player?

Or

Setup a risky pass to your teammate who is waiting for the slap shot?

You're playing a bit of a mind game with goalie here as you call for pass from the teammate you just passed to. It's not that you don't trust him to take it's just that you feel like the team has a better chance of winning if you make some quick decisions.

You quickly do some calculations in your head to figure to try and map out the route to victory here.

The goalie is looking at your teammate. The defender closes to you has pulled a little further away with your decision to slow down and try and separate the two defenders from your teammate.

This has given you the chance to get open as you expected.

You raise your stick in expectation of the pass and focus all of your power into the mental suggestion to your teammate.

"Trust me" it says.

Your teammate is on the other side of the ice still. They make a little fake on their defender and pull to the outside by the boards before taking the briefest second to send pass right at you.

You have a brief moment of time to decide:

Focus all your strength into a one-timer

Fake the shot and drive into the goalie

After you pass the puck to your teammate you figure that the best way that you could provide support for them is to follow their entry into the zone and get in tight for a rebound opportunity after they take their shot. The two of you sized up the competition and the plan decided in the locker room was executed.

Your teammate should be able to beat this Dman easily, but then it was up to the goalie. You decided it wasn't in your best interests to let fate decide how this game will go and therefore you want to make sure you have the best possible chance of scoring.

As your teammate gets ready to shoot you race past your dman and get in position right in front of the goalie. Your teammate hammers a shot and the goalie is square on.

He tries to catch it but the puck ricochets off of his glove and he panics as he swings around and sets himself up in your direction.

It's not like you can hide right in front of the goalie, but you now have a choice to make:

Quickly snap the pass to your teammate, the goalie looks unsteady

Or

Take the puck and do a quick wraparound attack

You've broken out of the pack and decided that the best way to beat this 2v2 defense is to do the zone entry yourself.

Your teammate's mark is a little closer than you would have like for comfort now and you're pretty happy that you chose to do the entry. Now you just have to beat your defender.

You start from the outside and do a crescent moon from the right side of the ice in hope that you can use the dman as a screen of sorts against the goalie.

If he cant see you he won't know what your next move is. You quickly fake a cut to the inside and watch the seasoned defenseman change his position before snapping the puck back to your forehand and speeding around your defender. It's now just you and the goalie.

The goalie who could see you before is now in a half set position. He is getting himself ready for a shot if you are going to take one.

You aren't very far from the goal at this point and its quite possible you could overpower the goalie, but you're going to have to be really confident about that shot. You maybe have a distance of five feet and are slightly regretting this decision. You hear some ice skating behind you and it emboldens you to take a chance:

Stop right in front of the goalie and drop back a pass to center ice to a teammate who should be there

Or

Skate past the goalie and go for a wraparound and attack from the other side

You decide to pass the puck to your teammate. Just like the team had strategized in the break between the third period and the first overtime. You are now executing the plan. After the well played defensive play by your dman back on the other side of the ice. You have now cut off the exact two players that were identified by your coach.

The pieces are all set up and now it's time to take action.

You snap the puck to your teammate who enters the zone shortly followed by yourself. He skates in a sort of weaving formation. You know from practice that this means he is ready to go for an attack.

You also know that your teammate will also pass it back to you if you ask for it. You've done this countless times for this exact situation. Where they break the zone and you set up for a goal scoring chance.

But this is game 7 and nothing is certain when players want to do everything they can to win the game. Although I guess you're no different.

Get into a position to call for the pass

Or

Get ready for the rebound

With the third period ending and the score still a 0-0 tie. Both teams head to their respective locker rooms for a quick pow-wow. Your coach emphatically points at a white board and draws a lot of lines towards the opponents goal. Yah you get it... attack, attack, attack. Has he been on the same ice as you? All you've been doing is attempting to attack.

That goalie is a brick wall tonight and it's going to take something special to break through that iron defense that is being shown in this game 7. The coach then says that he has a plan.

He's been watching the game really closely (as he should be) and he thinks that there is a dman on the other team who is playing with an injured foot. If we can isolate that dman and one other and force a 2 on 2 situation then that might give us the best chance we have to score and close out this game for good.

He picks yourself and 3 other offensive players to be designated as being ready for the rush. With a big hoorah! Your team exists the locker room to take their positions on the ice again.

In the first few minutes, the play looks exactly the same as it did the past three periods. Both teams are showing an incredible defense with shot blocks and great positioning. Neither team can get the edge and the fatigue is starting to show.

On one of your shifts on the bench, the other team gets into a 2v1 chance that is blocked by one of your teammates diving to the ice and taking the puck square in the ribs. Play is halted while he is brought back to the bench after a struggle to get up, You are a bit incesnsed.

Play resumes with you on the ice. After the faceoff you step a bit back to be ready to go. Suddenly your teammate strips the puck from one of the attackers and fires a pass your way. The 2v2 situation is happening!

Another teammate rushes for the attack and is slightly ahead of you:

Pass to your teammate and follow up

Or

Do the zone entry yourself

You attempt to throw bodies left and right out of the bleachers.  Everyone is in your way, or really just attacking as you as you go on a rampage to inflict as much damage to these angry fans as possible.

Your teammates are a little taken back by the ferocious screams coming from your mouth and your declarations of war against the other team.  This game turned a little nasty and it made you a little demented.  As you throw people left and right you realize that you have cut yourself off from any avenue of espace and that just makes you struggle harder.

"COME GET SOME" you yell to the crowd.

They hesitate for just a moment before swarming you all at once.  As you start to drown in a sea of bodies, everything begins fades to black.  You feel someone bite you and before you know it the whole crowd has gone berserk.

In your final moments, you hear someone screaming about zombies...

Will you rise again and retake the challenge?

As the final goal goes into the net.  The half of the crowd that was already booing you for your dirty plays starts to get a little rowdy. The rest of your team is looking a little worried as this crowd begins to start going a little berserk.

What started as maybe a friendly little tiff was now evolving into full-blown fistfights all across the stadium.  You can't help but look on at glee as you realize that your actions is about to cause a big fight.

You know the saying that people go watch some skating hoping that a fight breaks out?

Well I guess you just took that theory and made it a reality.

All around the arena people are throwing drinks, popcorn, fists.  Hair is being pulled.

The other team is now approaching you and it looks like people are starting to hit the glass and yelling obscenities about your mother.

Are you going to take that?

Rush up to the glass to defend your honor

Or

Ignore the jeers and prepare to defend

With your bare hands you get into the thick of the crowd throwing wild haymakers left and right. No one seems to be focused on you in particular so anyone who gets close enough to be a target is a target.

You've punched in young people's faces, old people's faces, and you think you hit a sign of yourself somewhere along the way.

Friend or foe it doesn't seem to matter anymore as you have given into the rage of the fight.

With each new person to come and be smashed down, you feel your psyche slowly breaking down. You begin to laugh hysterically...

Somewhere in the back of your mind you hear someone calling for a doctor...

"Doctor, Doctor, DOCTOR!" The patient is having another episode.

Quickly get the sedatives he is thrashing about more than usual and screaming something about being a hockey player over and over again.

Strap him down.

Get the needle.

HOLD HIM.

......

Everything fades to black again.

As you take your stick and start to swing it at the crowd who is now coming on to the ice to get you. You realize that maybe you have bitten off more than you can chew.

You yell at the crowd to get back.

"Back, I SAY, BACK you animals"

The crowd advances slowly. They are blocking your retreat. There is nowhere to go.

In a panic you take the stick and you scream as you advance on the closest figure. If they're not going to let you go then you're just going to have to fight your way out. You swing at one, you swing at another. People are going down as the crowd slowly lets you by.

Until you are so close to your exit. You can taste freedom. Only a few more people to be bloodied and bruised. You are getting hit and punched from all sides when your back is turned.

You finally take one might swing only to find that your stick is stuck. Someone has taken their bare hands and stopped your stick.

The crowd descends on you. The last thing you recall is hearing the sounds of the ambulance as you

fade

to

black....

You quickly realize that breaking the glass was a foolish decision and your fellow teammates take your sticks and form a phalanx.

Shoulder to shoulder you brace for the incoming tide of angry fans. "HOLD THE LINE!" Your captain says.

AS the first wave strikes the whole team is pushed back a little bit.  It feels like an unwinnable situation.  You are tired from playing a 60-minute game, but fear is giving you adrenaline right now.  At some point, the front line is able to dig in their skates and stop sliding backward.

"AS ONE!" the captain yells

With a great "HOORAH" the front line pushes back the horde while the 2nd line comes through the gaps with their sticks and thrusting them into the guts of the assaulters.

Before the attackers can swarm through the blocks in the phalanx, the 2nd line steps up and defends.  You step back and let your teammates take some of the attack now while you stab at any fan unlucky enough to come accross the end of your stick.

Slowly, you and your team work your way across the ice, through the seeting mass of the angry fans.  As you get to the entrance to your locker room you quickly all reatreat to and live to fight... I mean skate another day.

As the tide surges through the broken panes and on to the ice you realize that the best weapon you have on hand to defend yourself can only be your hands. As the wave gets bigger, you decide that having a weapon might not be so bad...

You take your helmet off for some reason. Its harder and wont break as easily as hands and will let you stay in the fight longer.

As the first person comes across you, you smash the helmet into their face. In a spray of blood, gore, and teeth the person collapses. With each new assailant you use your helmet to dismember them and cause general bloodshed.

Soon you are covered in blood. The only thing keeping you on the ice is the fact that you are in skates, and yet the crowd still comes. You keep bashing away.

The more you bash the easier it becomes. Soon heads are just exploding and with each death brings more power.

You have become one with the blood.

Blood responds to your call. People in the fringes are bowing down.

You have become a blood god. This carnage is pleasing to you...

Or maybe you have always been a god?

It's time to subjugate the world...

Start adventure over from beginning
