betting on the nfl with these replacement refs is like pulling a name out of a hat . honestly you could have bet on the Bengals last night and had a 33% chance of winning

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

How classy of him. Fuck people who do shit like this. It's massively weak. Goodell's also the best commissioner in all sports, but he gets a bad rap.

well if he was soooo good, he would give the refs who know how to do their jobs the money they want

Everyone is blaming the NFL here. Do you know what the Officials wont agree to that is holding everything up?

The NFL wants to fine and punish officials for bad calls. The officials want nothing to do with it.

Money is the smallest issue 50 grand extra to a ref is nothing to the NFL it is the other issues such as how many full time crews the nfl wants more than the refs I am assuming many of the refs want to keep their day jobs as they make more this way.

The Refs are more at fault on this one. They need to realize they ARE replaceable. Give the replacement officials time to study and get some gametime and they become normal officials again. Everyone starts somewhere and officiating does not take the skill and provide the leverage that playing a sport does

Wasn't Matthews, it was some disgruntled Packers fan who ran a fan page for Matthews on facebook and got a public number to his office.

the ref that actually called the TD was previously a High School/Junior College official

i just saw the NFL's statement for the 1st time.
turns out simultaneous catch IS reviewable...and the NFL supports the official for not overturning the call.
...unbelievable
