READY FOR GRADING

So, i just got traded yesterday from LA to CHI. I'm going to write a longer article about it but i thought i'd make a presser and earn some extra cash.

Got any questions? Ask them, would be much appreciated! Cheers

I pretty much covered it all in my article here But yes it came like a shock to most of us. I think most people knew Wasty was stepping down but i dont think anyone knew when, i figured he'd wait for at least another season so that LA would still get the player and not be punished if he stepped down too early, but with Mook stepping down i guess Wasty felt like he wasn't prepared to take all the responsibility again until he could step down without repercussions. It happened at an unfortunate time though and luckily sve7en was already in talks with Mook about what the team was going to do during the draft so i think the draft went smoothly. He was in a rough spot tho when he couldn't sign FAs and shit from what i understand so given the circumstances i would say i think he did a great job. LA got some great pieces in the draft. IDK what to say about the announcement of Fuzz, i dont think we've talked much, perhaps a couple times in the gaming discord. We've both seen what he's done in Carolina though, so i don't have any worries about the organization. Just from the way he handled my trade request i gained respect for the dude and i wish him all the best!

Not at all actually, lol. I am happy to be re-united with my old defensive pairing buddy Ren from our Newfoundland days. We've shared a team ever since in Japan and now we share yet another team. I'm really excited about the chance of getting to share a pairing with him again but i don't know what the line situation is looking, our D looks stacked right now so i'm assuming there will be extensive testing to see what works the best! It will be fun to share a team with both him and fellow S50 Ryan Shepard though, these nerds has a big lead on me TPE though which i will have to try to close, lmao.

2 What's your initial impression of your new teammates?

3 What are your hopes and expectations for the upcoming season?

1. Just a change of scenery will be good for me, i felt like my days in LA were limited and just getting on a new team with new people will be great for me as i'm getting more involved in the league again. The fact that the team is good on paper doesn't hurt either, lol. I'm looking forward to see us do da thang and hopefully go all the way a couple of times, sounds good?

2. Everyone has been very welcoming and i think i will be a good fit in this LR atmosphere, if not you all need to bonk me in the head and tell me to be BETTER. I'm excited to see a couple anime people in there and i am sure that we will be able to convert you from that fucking How To Get Away With Murder series and have you watch a GOOD anime like Steins;Gate or perhaps Boku no Pico who knows J one of those might get to you.

3. On a personal level i hope that i can build off of my last season, i upped mu blocked shots and had a couple more points than earlier. I'm not holding my breath on the defensive stats however because this is a more stacked team, so less shots for me to block eh? I'm guessing i'll get another point or two though because of the overall skill of the team, maybe i get a goal here and a secondary assist there. Team wise i think we're in for a ride, both Buffalo and Hamilton are nasty teams, we need to penetrate them to get to the finals eh J?

Yeah i'm kinda sad about that, it was unfortunate timing and i'm really happy and impressed over how you handled the whole situation and how you managed to get 2 firsts+ for me (lmao). I'm hoping the deal works out great for both teams! As for my favourite memory on LA, the playoffs had the LR popping actually which i really enjoyed, ever since i joined LA has been a pretty quiet place for us old men to rest up in between games, but during the playoffs it always had a swing in activity. However i think my favourite memory will forever be when Wasty made that Panthers blue Tengu mask sig that i still to this day think is the most fire sig on the entire site.

As for who watches the the least anime in chicago, i have yet to find out actually, before this is over i will have everyone watching however!

You know what, i don't think i had ever heard about deep fried pizza until now. It certainly doesn't look appetizing, lmao. We have this thing in Sweden called Calskrove, which is a burger with fries baked inside of a calzone. Good stuff, but you might want to ask them to bake the fries outside of the calzone or else they get like wet and soft, not a good experience.

Yeah it's been 5 long years, lmao. I think the change to FHM was good for sure, and absolutely necessary after all the exploiting that was going on at the end. Sadly people had to find exploits in FHM too, and i am 100% sure people will continue to find weird tactics or player roles to continue that tradition. It's definitely the saddest aspect of the league, that people feel the need to practically cheat to win. As a player i think that the new attributes has been a great thing as well, i'm in no way an expert and i have very limited time in the sim engine so i can't say that i know what i'm doing when it comes to building a player, but thankfully i've got some help. I don't know what i think about like 10% of the league having 50 points or more however, i feel the numbers are so inflated compared to SimonT. Of course it will become the norm after a while, every era change feels sad though because you can't really compare careers over eras. It is what it is.

No questions man, just sad to see you go. I didn't get off on the right foot with you, and that was my fault, but I was excited to see the new core in action.

I hope you have a great time in Chicago and I hope you'll still be around LAP
