Paul Binder is very much looking forward to the frigid temperatures of Anchorage. He's never been, but knows it's a beautiful city surrounded by beautiful landscape. A lifelong dream of his has been to have a practice or scrimmage game on an actual frozen pond, something that doesn't happen very often in his hometown of Vienna. He's been talking with some of his new team mates via Discord and is unsure of why they all seem to hate the GM so much, but he's sure his understanding will come with time.
I think the most exciting thing about heading to St Louis, is getting to learn from such a talented goaltender, Nicolae Antonescu. I've got a lot to learn about the grind of an SMJHL season, and an experienced netminder like Nicolae is the perfect mentor.
Colorado is obviously a gorgeous place, Denver being known as 'The Mile High City'. The team itself has been great and looks poised to challenge for a 4 Star in a season or two. Plus, legal weed amirite?

After spending some time in Vancouver it has become clear to Narboza that the traffic from Granville Street to Georgia Street was going to be a wonderful place to study the human aggression patterns of the species. On the first day of study Narboza managed to see many humans making loud guttural yells at one another from their transport pods, with some even removing themselves from their pods temporarily to make strange gestures at other humans.
It was turning out to be a rich source of learning about the human species and what they are like!
Visited Maine once as a kid and always liked it. Now, with me being drafted to the Timber, I get to call that place home! That's a dream come true and I can't wait.
My number one favorite thing about re-joining the Timber is the wonderful forests and wildlife in Maine. I'm a sucker for a nice long walk in the words and there are few things better than finding a nice spot in the forest, hanging up a hammock, and getting lost in a good book.
Am I allowed to say lobster? That seems too obvious. I think what I’m most excited about is all the new lakes and ponds to swim around in. I’ve heard good things about Maine from some of my more well travelled Ducks and I’m excited to be here.
Born in Norway, Jakobsen was very interested to know how life in Canada would be, cause he was sure it would be different. Quebec City so far has been a beautiful place, and the coaching staff has been really nice. Very excited to start with the Citadelles next week.
So uh, I'm moving to Detroit... I am excited about the team! The city? Not so much... The one thing I am looking forward to outside of hockey is the pizza. Some detroit style pizza is quality stuff.
the move to Carolina. I'm still deciding which Carolina i want to live in but the move has been fantastic and the team just as great. My teammates have been showing me all the best bars and where good spots for my evil lair.
Mew Two is most excited for learning the french language. As a pokemon, he speaks english and japanese, so hopefully this will be a manageable task for the future SHL superstar.

I haven't been settled into Kelowna long, but I can't tell you how psyched I was when I realized they don't celebrate thanksgiving up here so all the stores were open. I can't cook worth a damn but since my contract money hit I got no problems going out and ordering a turkey sandwich!
Moving to Kelowna is really weird. I've never really been out of the United States before, and considering I'm from Atlanta, it's already super cold. But I'm excited to be somewhere that has hockey as one of the most popular sports in the country. It adds a little pressure but I'm welcoming it with open arms. Also, did someone say something about bagged milk?
Detroit is a great location for Jeziak to land, it's a team thats building towards being a powerhouse in 2-3 seasons and after this draft the have a stacked group of young players ready to make that happen.
I'm pretty excited about going to newfoundland because I have almost never left the west of Canada, and it probably has cheap sushi since it's on the coast.
