SMJHL GM Posting Freak Code: 1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) TURG TURG’s 4th Simulation Major Junior Hockey League season with the Anchorage Armada was an absolute banger! The extended of the season schedule to 66 games allowed TURG extra time to rack up the stats. He finished the season with eighteen goals, twenty-eight assists for a grand total of forty-six points. He also managed to pick up one hundred and five hits and sixty-five blocked shots. Unfortunately he didn’t continue his run of good behaviour and also racked up 16 penalty minutes. But for a skater throwing so many hits and playing big minutes, that’s still quite impressive. To top it all off, TURG and the Anchorage Armada achieved the ultimate SMJHL prize; the Four Star Cup! TURG’s high intensity, two way play was a big part of the cup run for the Armada. And he’ll be looking to carry that into the upcoming World Junior Championship for Team Canada Red. Not to mention the Tampa Bay Barracuda in the SHL. Code: 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) The kids will get to pose with the Four Star Cup, play roller hockey with the Armada players, and even practice with the team! TURG will be baking all sorts of goodies for the kids as well such as chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, apple pie, and carrot cake! The event will run for the next two weeks as the Armada gear up for another solid offseason and prepare for the upcoming World Junior Championship! And each player will pair up with one of the Make-A-Wish kids who will become their Mini For A Day! The kids will shadow the player to learn what a day in the life of their favourite player is like! They were the favourites for most of the season and our games against them during the course of the regular season were always exciting. Having 50 more goals than any other team is pretty slick. And the points leader Zdenko Beranek made me crap my pants a lil. I expect them to come out hard next season. They should also have mostly the same team. All their players will be a year improved TPE wise. Next season will be exciting if they keep their core together. They will once again be the team to watch. Code: 15. The back half I was absolutely atrocious and our team game followed the same pattern and we limped into the playoffs. In the last 30 games I scored a putrid 14 points and by the end of the season my shooting percentage was below 5%. Those were the negatives. On the positive side there was a lot of things to be proud of. I was top 5 in shots at the end of the season with 221 and finished with a career high 38 points on the season. I also made the all-star game for the first time and was named the captain of the Raptors for the year. Finally, I got to play top line minutes and be a leader for my last season in a Raptors uniform with a great group of guys and at the end of the day, that will be the best part of it all as I move on to the big leagues. I am very entrenched in the fixing of the systemic racism and police overreach in use of excessive force against minorities, especially against African Americans. The Mosley foundation has donated and fundraised for bail funds as well as donating to as many Black Lives Matter funds and movements across the entire United States. Money won't erase the years and years of terrible things done by the law and society against African Americans just because of the colour of their skin. What money will do however, is help bring more awareness and shed a light upon what is going on in this country and try to showcase that while there is a lot of right wing politics involved in hockey, there is hope that we can band together for the fight as equality and justice for all. (160) Code: 7. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) In all the apt comparisons that could be made about the SHL and the NHL, I believe there is one that rules them all. The Manhattan Rage are the Boston Bruins of the SHL. I make this comparison for a few reasons. The first is that they have been dominate for a good number of years, constantly finishing near the top of the SHL standings but have only won one title in a long time just like the Bruins. The Rage also have a good recent history of a fantastic head office who constantly make the right personnel decisions and have built a winning culture. The final comparison that I believe is apropos is the length of time that players stay with Aito, Larson, Mccarthy and more having played with the Rage for a long time and made sure Rage fans know where home was. The Rage are a fantastic franchise just like Bruins are in the NHL. (158) Code: 12. Written, up to 4 TPE - Pick up to 4 Challenge Cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. The Syndicate have not been to the dance in their lifetime in Chicago while the Hawks are your defending champs and have been to the finals 3 of the last 4 years. That type of Championship Pedigree makes the Hawks that much better suited to take this series. (65) b. Both the Syndicate and the Steelhawks boast fantastic power-play units but if I were to pick one to get the job done over the other in the playoffs would be the Hawks. Both units are basically a wash as they are truly fantastic groups, however the Steelhawks have the league leader in points and the best power play player in this series in Michael Scarn. That simple fact gives them a slight edge over Chicago (75) c. Looking at everything involved in the branding between these two teams, I have to give the nod to Chicago in every aspect. The city of Chicago is rich in hockey history while Hamilton is like the ugly stepchild of Ontario. The logo is excellent and reminds you of the mob ties to the city while Hamilton has....a bird. I think this is one of the few cases where the Syndicate have the edge over Hamilton. (75) d. This is an easy one for me. As a lover of all nude performance arts and an aficionado of the night life, I never turn down a lap dance.....ever. I am also a definite ass man in the grand scheme of things which makes getting a lap dance from the legendary Hugh Jazz and easy decision. (56) Code: 15. 1. Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season? (3 TPE)
As a whole, the Carolina Kraken had a disappointing season and Grape Fruit's lack of production was definitely a factor in the outcome. He got off to a slow start at the beginning of the season and even though he picked it up a bit towards the end of the season, it was overall disappointing considering reaching the 425 TPE cap. Playing on a line with high quality players the entire season, I was extremely sad to see Grape Fruit struggle so much. I really do not have a reason why he struggled so much but sometimes the production isn't there despite decent grades. Hopefully this season was just a fluke and Grape Fruit can show his true potential in the league by surpassing expectations. The goal will to be improve scoring production while maintaining decent two way play to help the team at both ends of the ice. Considering some of the callups, Grape Fruit should contend for the team lead in scoring. 3. Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason? (3 TPE) Grape Fruit will be helping deliver food to struggling families in the local area. There are many people struggling, especially in the current world situation and food is one of the basic necessities to survive so naturally, it makes sense to help those close by. The targeted group will be families with children. This group will be hit even harder with kids staying home from school where many families rely on the free meal or meals provided by the school when the kids can physically attend. Grape Fruit, and hopefully other members of the Kraken, will help with the safe distribution to the houses of these families. The care packages will include many non perishable foods that will last as long as needed as well as multiple meals worth of other foods. Important foods like dairy and fruits and vegetables will also be provided to make sure the families can eat healthily. 4. Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why? (2 TPE) The clear answer in the SMJHL is Quebec City. The clear leader in the regular season, it was quite a surprise to not see them in the finals. Of course the bracketing procedure putting them against the next best team in the semifinals was just unfortunate but still counts for this question. With the way their offense produced in the regular season, there really doesn't seem to be any excuse for not winning the whole thing. This may have been their last chance for a few seasons as they most likely will lose a lot of players to the SHL this offseason. Truly an unfortunate turn of events for what appeared to be the sure favorites. 15. CW TRIVIA, 3 TPE max - 1 TPE for participation, 0.5 TPE for each correct answer. (3 TPE) Many athletes have created OnlyFans accounts recently, including Bec Rawlings, Plaxico Burress, and Adi Spiegelman - if your SHL player created an account what premium content are fans around the world subscribing to see? It doesn't have to be sex stuff but it doesn't not have to be :o Would your player be successful on this platform? No graphic option for this one! Goodbye! This is one question I've already given a lot of though to. Actually, no. But if I had, I think Grape Fruit would give cooking lessons on his only fans, with all the recipes including a grapefruit somehow. There could be other (non sexual) activities involving grapefruits. I'm not exactly sure what activities can be done with grapefruits beyond cooking but maybe we could get one of those cool slow motion cameras and like smash one or something. Either that or go around in public and randomly place grapefruits in people's purses as pranks. It would be unfortunate if one of those people ended up being allergic though. I really don't think this would generate much interest from anyone so I don't think this venture would be financially feasible for Grape Fruit. However, he would get one of those super slo mo cameras and that would be awesome to play around with so it's an overall win.

1. Jesus where to begin on the reflection to my season. I think to say it stunk would be about accurate. I was going to have top pairing minutes with a strong partner to boot. However that was all for naught as my player just seemed to stink. I think the best way to see how bad my season was as a send down player only qualifying for three of the milestones. I think something that attributed to that was definitely management and playing time in terms of which situations I played in. (Other than averaging a minute less of powerplay time than the other defenseman I mostly joke). I think the other big issue with my player was the low stamina with the new season and how it really took a toll on him. Sitting at 13 stamina and not being as in shape while logging 20+ minutes a night is brutal. I think the lack of shape was really the killer for my player this season and hopefully next season he'll be better in the SHL. I think he'll have a decent rookie season playing on the bottom pair but getting good powerplay minutes and should hopefully see some success.
2. I think for defenseman we should have a powerplay specialist not just a point shooter roll. While I like the idea of a point shooter I don't think it accurately depicts what the defenseman does in all aspects of play. The point of the powerplay specialist on the SHL side would be a defenseman that could go over the 12 cap for Shooting accuracy (and having it that low sucks by the way) but would have lower defensive skills mainly in hitting or checking. I think their key stat would definitely be shooting accuracy more so than range. In FHM similar to real hockey, defenseman can "walk it in" and shoot from 15 feet instead of the big slappers from 20+. I think a defenseman that could utilize this while playing in the high slot could be interesting and from our aspect could be fun to play with things like strengths or weakness at least in limitations for certain builds. 3. For my player he would be working with animals especially now as his charitable cause. During the pandemic, many people have adopted animals to help them better adapt to either living alone, being stuck indoors, wanting a reason to get out etc. For Kamado, his hope is to make sure that these animals get good and stay there. For people with dogs who are in lower income housing he is going to do things to help those people. First during adoption he wants to make sure that they have enough money in order to afford dog food or some version of payment plan to ensure that their pets are fed. In any untrained animal situation he would volunteer himself to train the dog especially with younger dogs. Training sessions would include things such as basic commands, proper leash walking, house breaking etc. He would also help people find ways to make sure they are comfortable with picking up poop. For cats he would set up a charity/ group where they build condos and then give them to lower income families getting cats. Some cats need stimulation that can be as simple as a cat condo. 5. I think this one is pretty straightforward on the best team that did not make the finals. That would be the Quebec City Citadels. While they are my rival as a Battleborn, them not making the finals is a pretty tough pill to swallow. They were incredibly strong all season and I guess to an extent they were how I wish my player had played similar to how their players had played. They were truly dominant all season. Maybe it was from them having less back to backs but that is neither here nor there. Maybe teams being on more even footing come playoffs brought out their weaknesses. Personally I thought they were a good team that should have made it to the finals. 12. a. I think for me the 3-3 series is a fairly subjective thing to look at. As every team had different schedules with different back to backs. it does not help looking at the numbers necessarily. Chicago's wins could have been Hamilton coming either on the second half of a back to back or right after a back to back. Same thing of the vice versa could be true. I think Hamilton is better as stamina is clearly a very important stat now that they put a lot into and it has shown so far this season as well as this post season. Also their depth of talent in my opinion is stronger than Chicago's. b. I think Hamilton has a stronger powerplay unit for the same reason as I answered the previous question. Currently stamina is running rampant with those who have it high and those who don't because Hamilton is built around stamina now only are they built for games in quick succession but their players in theory should be strong at the end of the game. While powerplay is important your power play at the end of the game is what could break that 1-1 tie or if you're tired and sloppy a team gets a short handed goal. I think Hamilton has an edge simply on the same principle. c. I think for me I think I prefer Chicago's logo. To an extent I do miss the older steelhawks logo but I think that may be more nostalgia then actually missing the logo. I think the syndicates is such a cool logo becaues it feels new yet something legitimate that could see on a hockey jersey. I also enjoy it because I don't know of many teams that are called the syndicate. I think the logo, the coloring and everything goes together and sets them apart. Also they did the black and yellow scheme a lot better than the Portland Admirals did and it looks less force or more legitimate than that the Admirals 15. Meowcats (+3)

Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season? I was pretty happy about my performance in regular season. I played all 66 games and scored 14+33=47 points. I tried to get 50 points but didn't quite crossed that limit. It was fine because our team won regular season title. As a two-way winger I was 22nd in scoring so it was a good thing. My plus-minus rating +30 was 13rd best in the whole league. I am also happy about my takeaway-giveaway difference (37-18) +19. There was only one forward Taisto Jutila who had better difference +23. However, in the playoffs I wasn't able to help the team win in a TOP6 role and that hurts a lot. I scored only 1+3 in 13 games. That is just way too low amount of points for a TOP6 winger even though I bring also some defensive specialty into our line-up. I wasn't good enough in the most important games and that is something what needs to change next year. Words: 160 2. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one? Very interesting question. My idea would be to create a playoff goalie role. If you create a goalie with this role, you accept that your goalie will always be trash during regular season but in the playoffs his standards would rise a lot. Most important attributes would be mental toughness, stamina, determination and professionalism. If you create a playoff role, then you would be forced to use almost all your points to those mental ratings and goalie ratings (blocker, glove, rebounds etc.) would be a maximum of 7. After two seasons on SMJHL you would be able to spend more points on goalie attributes but until then you could only boost your mental ratings. Words: 114 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason? As a part of Quebec City Citadelles I would participate in an event where the staff and players would organize a charity event around sports theme. We would create a running event and collect some money alongside that to poor people. Companies and rich people would have a chance to run together 5 kilometres with for example MVP Zdenko Beranek, superstar center Jst Maro or fighting king Petrov. They could talk 30 minutes with their favourite players and that way we could bring fans closer to the team and make charity alonside that. There would be also auction in the evening together with dinner party. Companies could buy some game-worn jerseys and other QCC stuff with players's signatures. They could also buy selfies with their favourite players. The final climax in the event would be a live band which would play some good music and after that the event would be over. Everyone would go to home some positive memories for sure. Words: 161 5. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why? Well, this was an easy task to answer. Of course Quebec City Citadelles who the regular season in SMJHL. They won 49/66 matches with a goal difference of +102. Without nine overtime losses Citadelles would have won a magical 50+ games. Unfortunately in the playoffs Armada were better team in the semifinals in seven games. Citadelles also lead that series 3-2 and was up 2-0 six minutes before the end of game six but Armada made a comeback and won the series. It was almost perfect regular season from Quebec City and that's why they were the best team to not make finals this season. The story reminded a little bit about Tampa Bay Lightning who won the regular season in the NHL with 62 wins two years ago but then lost in the playoffs against Columbus. Words: 138 6. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players? I predict like every year that big hockey countries will win the medals. I am confident that Canada, USA, Finland, Sweden and Russia will be the teams to beat. I don't have any faith to British Isles or Ireland because they just don't have hockey culture. Same words can be said about Japan or Austria. Germany and Switzerland will be dark horses probably. Latvia's fans are always great so maybe they can cheer their team to some success. Norway is a borderline qualifier. Czech Republic is a mystery teams who can win the whole thing or be in a relegation battle, you never know. My medal prediction is Canada, USA and Finland because there is always at least one European country on the medals. I don't want to name any players who will have good tournament because ice-hockey is a team sport more than anything else and it would be crazy to predict any top performers from individuals without knowing exact line-ups and power-play setups from every team. That's why I will pass player predictions but stick with my team predictions. Words: 181 15. CW TRIVIA, 3 TPE max - 1 TPE for participation, 0.5 TPE for each correct answer. I personally thin I had a good season but it should have been even better cause I had a 6 assist advantage on everyone and just could not gain anymore on everyone which god damn sucks cause I wanted a silly amount of assists more than the rest of the pack. One of ten S55 rookies in the SHL this season. Raiden was slotted on the Platoon's 2nd line at the center position. Raiden had a decent season scoring 12 goals and 9 assists for 21 points. While I was hoping to get to 30 points, I was still happy with those. 12 goals was tied for 2nd on the team. Which I think is pretty good. As a rookie center, Raiden had good year as well, winning 52.8% of the faceoffs taken. I believe Raiden and fellow Platoon rookie Daniil Nikiforov are the only two rookies to play on Line 2 for their team. So I knew we would have our hands full but still thought we could work great together. And we did fairly well going up against other teams top lines. Graphic Graders Anaheim Co-GM / Graphics Grader Code: 1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) A big change for my goaltender, Cillian Kavanagh this season. After 2 seasons with the San Francisco Pride, Kavanagh makes a change for Texas. Upon joining the Renegades, Cillian would be slotted next to Goodman in a 1A/1B tandem. I truly believe overall both goaltenders were stellar this season and a huge part of the Renegades success, especially early on in the year. Kavanagh managed to finish with 6 shutouts and a .926 save percentage at the end of the season. This was one of the my main goals I was working towards as I wasn't happy with my previous save percentage of .916 in S56 with SFP. GAA came down as well from a 4.79 to 2.36. Splitting starts with Goodman allowed Kavanagh to get the rest he needed between games which was a huge factor in strong performances. Overall i'm happy with how my player performed. I would have liked to see Texas go deeper in the playoffs but we'll be back better than ever next season. Word Count: 170 Code: 2. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) God willing, Kavanagh won't be my last player before hanging up the skates with the SHL. I contemplated creating a defensive defenseman before ultimately choosing to create a goaltender. I do think that the needs more defense defenseman. Coming from a goaltender stand point, this makes our job so much easier when you have a solid 6 defensive bodies in front of you blocking shots and making the right plays to get the puck up and out of the zone. I do believe many people are looking to light up the stat sheet overall with goals and even assists but I would be just as happy with a solid plus/minus knowing I helped my team edge out a victory. As far as my player build would go I would predominately focus on positioning, defensive read and shot blocking. I would aim to keep physical and mental ratings very consistent while putting offensive ratings on the back burner. This is getting me excited about my next chapter in the SHL but there's work to be done with Kavanagh until then. Word Count: 180 Code: 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) The Renegades are heavily involved in Habitat for Humanity which is a great nonprofit organization that helps build homes for struggling families. They believe affordable housing should be available to all no matter the income or financial status of the family. Kavanagh looks to get involved in this by helping the less fortunate out by channeling his inner construction capabilities and building homes outside the greater Dallas area. Poverty is as big in Texas as it is everywhere else across our great nation, being able to help our community in such a different way is what allows the Renegades to stand out in an amazing fashion. Kavanagh plans to use the first half of the offseason to travel home to Ireland and visit family and friends. When he comes back to the states, he'll be shipped out along with our Renegades teammates to Denton, TX which is one of the top 5 poorest counties in the state of Texas. There, Kavanagh and his teammates will begin to give families hope and homes as they build for a better future. Word Count: 179 Code: 5. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) It seemed all of their players were firing on all cylinders and my player Kavanagh could not do a thing to stop them from filling up the net. Upon hearing this, Kavanagh sparked an idea. Cillian would use the large platform of OnlyFans to give away exclusive gear, signed memorabilia and opportunities for a meet and greet. Even more exclusive fans would be able to watch videos getting glimpses into Kavanagh's life as he goes about his day off the ice. This videos would consist of Kavanagh's friends keeping the camera on him as he goes to the grocery store, chills on the couch and many more behind the scenes acts Kavanagh does on a daily basis. All of the money raised from this effort will go directly to charity. Being able to connect with fans has always been at the top of Kavanagh's list. Whether he's the last one to leave the arena because he's signing autographs and taking pictures with fans or his numerous involvement opportunities within the community. Since coming over from Texas, Kavanagh has been doing all that he can to be a star on the ice and off the ice. OnlyFans takes this to a whole new level and reaches a worldwide audience. Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season? This season went great for Igor Victory of the Anchorage Armada, 4 Star Cup Champions. During the regular season he was able to play the majority of the year on the second line, acting as bit of a mentor in his last season in the junior league. He surpassed goals scored from the year prior by a whopping 9 extra goals, but dropped in assists by two. Putting up his best year yet in the juniors with 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists. Playing on the second best team in the league helps out a lot in many stat lines. His plus/minus was an astounding +39, 116 hits, 108 shots blocked and an overall DGR of 84. His ice time stayed pretty much the same from the prior year, but it's impressive how much more in tune and efficient his game was this year. He couldn't have thought of a better year to leave it all out on the ice and get that 4 Star Cup before moving on up to play in the SHL. 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason? Over the offseason, Igor Victory is making the long trip to go from Anchorage Alaska to the literal opposite side of the country and suiting up for the first time for the Tampa Bay Barracuda. Being a rookie again is refreshing and exhilarating and the Head Office down in Tampa Bay has the rookies doing some amazing charity work this offseason. First and foremost they attended a roller rink opening East Central Tampa, trying to get the underprivileged youth into hockey. The other cause that the Tampa Bay Barracuda Head Office has Igor, and some of his other rookie mates help out with, is the annual swamp draining. This is of course literally speaking, they are putting their bodies to good work and doing some good old manual labor to help clean some of the swamps in the area. This provides the local ecosystem a healthy start to the year, and gets the entire community involved in keeping Tampa Bay Clean Again. 4. Quebec City Citadelles was the best team in either league to not make the finals this season. It's obvious from the onset of the playoffs that the two teams that should have been in the finals were the Anchorage Armada and the Quebec City Owls. Instead, because of both teams being dominant, and the way the Simulation Major Junior Hockey League playoff format is set up, we saw the 1 vs 2 in the Conference finals. A nail biter to the end, game 6 might have been the most intense game I've ever watched on the site. The QCC absolutely deserved to be in the finals, and had the 1 vs 2 in the league match up happened in the 4 Star Cup Championship, it could have been the most watched J Finals to ever happen. Igor Victory already had a secret page posted on the Finnish Version of OnlyFans called "SaunaFans". However, that only reached a certain amount of people, and the content was a lot of slapping with birch branches are drinking 4.5% beer. So, to separate itself from becoming the hockey version of the Dudesons, Igor decided to jump onto OnlyFans. Now, Igor is not a small guy at all, coming in at 6'4" and weighing almost 230 pounds, his beard is one that rivals, if not bests, those of Joe Thornton and Brent Burns. So naturally, Igor had to recreate the now infamous ESPN body issue, which featured two NHL greats bearing it all with ridiculous ZZ Top style beards. So Igor got together with his good friend, TURG TURG, who acted as the creative director and principal photographer during the shoot. It had to be an inside job, with someone he knew and trusted, seeing as TURG and Igor just won the 4 Star Cup together, and are making the long trip to Tampa Bay together, it made sense for TURG to help out. Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season? Wow what a season for Phineas Gold. Lead the Rage in goals scored, became one of the top 10 goal scorers in a season for the Rage, and had a huge jump of personal success that just did not click the past few seasons. I think the most surprised person about this success was myself as things just did not feel like they were coming together no matter how much I worked on my player. So to see myself jump to 64 points for the seasons (an even 32/32 split on goals and assists) felt like a wonderful blessing. I think my success is due to the fact that I upped my defensive skills a lot this season in order to work on possession of the puck. My shot % is still unreal and even though I was not the top shooter on the team, ever shot counted. Next season will be interesting because I am switching to center and that means anything could happen as the team’s 1C. 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason? Phineas has and always will be a dog guy. So of course when the head office came around asking that players choose a charity to contribute to after our early exit from playoffs, Phineas jumped at the chance to volunteer for shelters around NYC. Phineas has been making bank playing for the Rage and has been spending almost none of it as he lives in a nice 1 person apartment with his Husky. Phineas dug into his own funds for the year and produced a slew of commercials that were aired on radio and tv on local stations that advocated for adoption and funding. He is very anti kill-shelter so his messages always had a bit of sad note when he would have a small dialogue about every dog deserves his forever home. He spent time at each shelter that he could in the city just playing with dogs and talking to prospective best friends for his puppers. 6. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players? Once again I expect the USA to take it all the way this year. Our goalie Strom Chamberlain showed that he had the moxie to put up great numbers in the playoffs this year by keeping the destructive Hamilton from running away with any one game. With a solid backstop ready to defend the net, the collective USA team can breathe a sigh of relief since losing Cain to retirement. Our young forwards have been tearing the league up and are now starting to reach elite peak as our older members start regressing. USA all the way. Unless that dark horse in Japan gets that puck luck. Ever since they knocked us out two seasons ago I always keep an eye on them. They have been sneakily getting ready to start their own dynasty where they overthrow Canada and USA. That being said. Look to Joseph Weston, Bobby Lane, and Phineas Gold to really explode in this season’s tournament. USA USA USA! 12. Written, up to 4 TPE - Pick up to 4 Challenge Cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50+ words. a. The season series between these two teams was tied 3-3. Do you think either team has an advantage in this series or do you see it as a true toss up? I think it is going to go to Hamilton. At this stage they have proved that they can take advantage of teams with strong offense and turn it back again by having an even stronger offense. If the first game is any indication, this series will be a high scoring slaughter fest. It might actually come down to individual efforts by the teams goalies. b. Each of these teams boasts a very strong first powerplay unit - which team has the special teams advantage in this series? In the playoffs, HAM is definitely showing that their special teams scores more and spends more time on the ice. It could be that the individual skill actually means that their players get penalties more often. So I have to give the advantage to Hamilton again here. They are just too good of a team. c. Which of these two teams' brandings do you prefer? Take into account colors, logo, name, location, and anything else you consider relevant. Well I think that Hamilton is a little drab and kind of feels like a rainy day when you look at the logo. Now I usually like rainy days, but I have to give it to Chicago here. I think playing off the mafia with the black and yellow for jail is just so satisfying. Chicago just has a rich Mafia history and the team perfectly brings back those glory days. d. Would you rather get a lap dance from Hugh Jazz, have a staring contest with Luke Atmey (velv's old player), reach for objects on high shelves with Dale Miller, or play League with Parker Smeb? Ill take that lap dance? Why? Because besides playing League, the others are like 1 offs. If you are getting a lap dance from a man you got to believe that you are about to start a deep and lasting friendship and what could be better than that. Also, there would probably be alcohol involved, and if you are lucky, women who will find it a hoot that two men are just having fun. 15. Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one? The role will be a new goalie type based loosely on Patrick Roy. It will be a hyper aggressive goalie who is easily the most confident player ever. This would be the only goalie archetype to have the goalie aggression changed. When you choose this role, you get a 20 aggression off the bat. Your goalie will try to fight everyone including your team's players and coaches. Glove will be locked at 5 and combined with the overconfidence will result in a lot of dropped pucks that should have easily been frozen if it weren't dues to showboating. I just want a goalie fight. 5. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why? If I had to pick one SHL team that I was disappointed didn't make the finals, I would have to pick Winnipeg. They posed a real problem to the Steelhawks in the conference finals, keeping every game to within one goal. This coming from a team that had a mediocre season and weren't predicted to go as far in the playoffs as they did. I have confidence that if they had gotten a different matchup, either Chicago or Buffalo, they would have been in the finals this year with a real chance to win it all. You guys played great. 15. 2. Code: 1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) This one is pretty interesting because there are a lot of ways to go with it. Did I think Rikki Petrov fared well on the ice, I would probably lean towards yes even though as a whole Vancouver struggled a bit. At 46 points this season, Rikki was tied for 2nd in points among all Petrov brothers in the SMJHL and filled his role perfectly. Rikki is known as a two way playmaker and finished the season with 34 assists and also added in 12 goals, 83 hits, 25 takeaways and 44 shots blocked. He filled his role! Petrov was expected to play the way that he did so overall I would say that is a solid success and although he was not the top player in the league by any means, he was one of the best centers I think at least by the measures of how the player fit their role. GMs put me in a great position to succeed so I have zero complaints about personal play last season! 3. Code: 15. CW TRIVIA, 3 TPE max - 1 TPE for participation, 0.5 TPE for each correct answer. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) I would love to see some sort of differences in goalie builds overall instead of having everyone have all the same minimums and maximums. People could choose between butterfly goalie, hybrid goalie or stand up goalie and have different cap limits based on these. I believe when we used STHS, it was kind of like this and you could choose caps. Since we have had this before though maybe I'll throw in something new. Maybe like something of a leader type goalie or something but I have not idea how some of the mental attributes would affect anything in the game. Maybe if someone had high leadership and temperament and such, it could help or at least help in a backup perspective? I am not sure but some sort of steady presence on your team could be a really good idea especially if it helped in some way but mainly I would love more versatility and archetypes within goalies and the league in general! 5. Code: 3. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) One charity or group of charities that I personally have been involved in, especially during my time in sim leagues has been ones devoted to hunger in the world so I would like Rikki Petrov to be able to tackle this one as well. In the past, I had set up team charity incentives, in the EFL so each touchdown or field goal or win would contribute a certain amount to a certain charity and it was really great. It was based in the same city of the team I GMed so I ended up donating money to the Oregon Food Bank so it held some good realism to it. I would base my idea off of that and say Rikki Petrov would donate a certain amount of money to a hunger charity in Vancouver for each goal or each assist he got during the season or something like that. He would also be part of food drives and assist in collections for local food banks. Hunger is not something that anyone should go through and I hope Petrov and the Vancouver Whalers can tackle this head on. 6. Code: 16. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) I mean, I couldn't just not do this one right? So let's have a little fun with this to honor the myth, the man, the legend, Mr. Hotdog! So I know it doesn't have to be sexual but when I think OnlyFans in general, everything I have ever heard or encountered about the site is pretty much strictly sexual stuff but hey, I could be wrong or just hearing from nefarious sources. That being said, if Rikki wants to make the money, he would probably have to be creative as there seems to be a lot of content over there and I would imagine it is much easier to be a female over there as not many people are going to pay to see some "hockey sticks". Petrov however could do random things or do something unique. Maybe his ticket to fame will.be to post semi-nudes wearing random SHL plauers' jerseys. The idea would be to swap jerseys after the game with some players after they just faced off against each other and build up a collection. Buying them would kind of defeat the purpose right? People would probably pay to see whose jersey Petrov will be sporting and traditionally not wearing pants as is necessary. People could pay to see Rikki, who has been called a handsome guy by 41% of SHL players, don another team's jersey for a sexy photoshoot! I have no idea, this might work?

Submitted - Doug PBE PT Code: 1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) Looking at my 2nd season in the Pros is one of small improvements across the board. Playing pretty much strictly 5v5 really doesn't leave a lot of opportunities for my player to gain a big increase on my point totals, but I did find the back of the net a lot more putting up 8 goals over the previous seasons 2. Looking at overall play, Mikkel was able to generate close to double the amount of shots and hits rounding out his game a bit more. Give aways vs take aways as a defenseman seems to be a battle uphill as a young player, so there is still room for some larger gains there. My advanced stats sort of took both a jump and decline as with some tougher match ups came some more exposure to my players lack of comparable skill to those with 600+ more TPE than me, The main goals I think for this coming season will to be really focused on making sure MAS is a net positive on the ice at all times. What I would maybe like to swing for my next defenseman would be someone who literally has next to unlimited stamina with the focus on Take aways - hits and shot blocks being the major focus of this defender. Literally the Penalty kill specialist, who won't ever be looked for to generate offense, but instead completely shut down the opposing teams top lines. Goalie feeling like they are seeing the puck too much? Toss this player out there shut them down. Think of a Shadow forward but made for defense. The key stat? Well I would say stamina. This is the player you want on a rebuilding team to eat up those tough minutes. (136 words) Code: 12. Written, up to 4 TPE - Pick up to 4 Challenge Cup related topics to write about! Hamilton continues to make something out of their roster every single season and position themselves to always look like cup favourites. It would be hard to count them out, BUT I think it is finally Chicagos time and give them the overall edge at the end of the day c) I think I would pick Hamilton overall as I just like the colour combination better with the mostly blue and mix of grey and yellow.
