Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?

Lyle Odelein III did not have the best season of his career.  Although Lyle was in his final season before regression, and at one point was the highest TPE player in the entire SHL, his numbers and output did not really show that.  Lyle and his New Orleans Specters had a rough season, having lost some key players in the offseason and during this season, they fought as hard as they could to compete against every team that they played against.  They were able to keep the playoff streak alive but were beaten (not very easily) by the eventual Challenge Cup champions in the first round.  Next season Lyle hopes to improve on his numbers but is very aware that the Specters are currently in the middle of a re-tool, and are still a season or two away from being top contenders again.  Lyle is very excited about the future of NOLA and hopes that he can help pave the way for the next generation of Specters players.

What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players?

I said this last season before the IIHF and I was one hundred percent correct, so I’ll say it again this time. Team Canada will be the top team in the tournament.  With Gabriel Johnson and Lyle Odelein III holding down the defensive side of things, Theo Morgan and Dick Clapper will lead the charge on the offensive side of the game.  Canada is stacked with high end talent and will once again compete for the top prize.  They know what it takes to win it all in the IIFH tournament and will do everything they can do it again.  There will be some tough competition though, and Canada knows this won’t be a cake walk.  Teams like Great Britain and the United States, still pose a threat to Canada’s chances, but they won’t be taking these teams, or any teams for that matter, lightly.  It should be a very fun tournament to watch and I’m sure each and every team will be stepping up to try and play the best game they can against the reigning gold medal winners.

a. The season series between these two teams was tied 3-3. Do you think either team has an advantage in this series or do you see it as a true toss up?

Going into this series I felt hands down, that the Hamilton Steelhawks were by far the favourites and that they held all the advantages.  Even after playing the Chicago Syndicate in the first round and losing to them in 5 games, I felt that they were beatable and that Hamilton, having dominated during the regular season would do the same in the finals. I was wrong…

b. Each of these teams boasts a very strong first powerplay unit - which team has the special teams advantage in this series?

Looking at the top ten powerplay point getters in the playoffs, three are from the Chicago Syndicate (Lallo Selman, Martin Westbroek, Daniel Smeb) and three are from the Hamilton Steelhawks (Dick Clapper, Michael Scarn, Gabriel Johnson).  Combined the trio form Chicago tallied 13 points and the Hamilton crew had 14 as well.  But the deciding factor for me was games played, the Syndicate had 24 games to get those PP points while the Steelhawks did it in 14 games.  So Hamilton takes the edge here for me.

c. Which of these two teams' brandings do you prefer? Take into account colors, logo, name, location, and anything else you consider relevant.

I’ve talked about my distaste of the city of Hamilton before, so this one is an easy one.  The Chicago Syndicate have the better branding hands down.  The city of Chicago is such a fun city to go to and has a very rich history.  Part of that history is organized crime, the two go hand and hand.  Using the team name Syndicate is a great call back to those lawless times and the logo is the icing on the cake.

d. Would you rather get a lap dance from Hugh Jazz, have a staring contest with Luke Atmey (velv's old player), reach for objects on high shelves with Dale Miller, or play League with Parker Smeb?

Can I do a combination here?  I would like the chose a lap dance by Hugh Jazz but I would also like to have a staring contest with Luke Atmey.  So to save time and be as efficient as possible, I would like to have a staring contest with Luke while getting a lap dance from Hugh.  Let me know when this can get set up, please and thank you.

Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?

Well, this season wasn't exactly how we'd hoped in Manhattan at the start. Unfortunately, we had some situations with our coaching staff that made us unable to really adjust lines and strategies at the outset. We had a really, really bad start. I remember at one point I was scoreless for about 7 games I think, and it was just a difficult time all around.

Thankfully, we had our new coaching staff come in and immediately start implementing changes and swinging things around. I think ultimately the season was a bit disappointing as I ended up at 57 points and 19 goals, but had I not been snakebitten at the start with our team in fluxx it likely leads to another season near a point per game and another 20 goal season as well. This was definitely a difficult one, but one that I was able to establish my defensive acumen still and don't feel as though I dragged my team down by any means.

Beyond that, we also won our eighth divisional title! It's been 12 seasons since the divisions were created and we've won the division 2/3 of the time! It's remarkable and as long as we maintain this streak, we should be just fine.

Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one?

This is going to be a very specific role -- the David Koci Role. This has been my favorite moment that I've seen live in hockey history. David Koci was a Colorado Avalanche player who was not good, like at all. At one point he hopped on the ice, but the coach didn't want him out there. Koci literally had his skates hit the ice and immediately was screamed at "WHAT ARE YOU DOING! GET OFF THE ICE!" and hopped back on the bench.

So my role is a player who literally isn't utilized at all, they just sit on the bench and get maybe a couple seconds a game in which they've accidentally gone on the ice over the boards.

Other than that, FHM is pretty good with roles and diversity among them. The only thing I'd really think to add otherwise is a Hybrid Role for skaters. In Columbus, they often referred to Zach Werenski as a "rover" I believe. That Rover role would be interesting, someone who isn't really tied positionally to defense and is more of a play any style that fits kind of player. It's a difficult role that would require a lot of intelligence, but would likely really boost an offense.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

Okay, okay. I'll go homer -- the Manhattan Rage. Why? Well, why not. We took the eventual Cup winners to 7 games, and in each of our 4 losses we only lost by 1 goal. It was that close that literally a single bounce could've made the difference. Actually a single bounce DID make the difference as Reginald MacIntyre in his final game, in overtime hit the crossbar and it ricocheted out to what was ultimately our doom. I truly believe the Rage to have been a comparable team to Chicago and absolutely capable of making a deep run.

If we're aiming for a non-homer pick, I'll take a look at Buffalo. They're obviously one of the three best teams in the league and also took the eventual Cup Champions to a Game 7. They easily could have pushed things to the next level and brought home the trophy, they just got unlucky as well. No matter what the champion was going to be one of those four teams, it was just luck of the draw and a few good bounces that determines it just like any other year. The best team does win, but they don't win on skill alone.

SHL-NHL comparisons. With the NHL season kicking off again, what are some team or player comparisons between SHL and NHL? Pick one (or more) comparison(s) and explain why it works (e.g., Monkey D Luffy is the Connor McDavid of the SHL because xyz, or the Chicago Syndiacte are the Nashville Predators of the SHL because xyz, or nour is the Gary Bettman of the SHL because xyz).

Luke is absolutely Gary Bettman. Why? Well for one, he puts you to sleep. He's just so ... there. You know what I mean? He's nothing special, and everybody boo's the moment they see him.

In terms of player comparisons, I've often seen my player in Jax as a Nazem Kadri type. I could've been a top line center practically my whole career, but instead I fit better as a second line guy who is more defensively rounded and able to produce both ways. It's a comparison I can at least see as Jax has been a solid offensive producer most of his career, but rarely a point per game guy, and has largely played a lot of penalty kill and a more defensive role being matched up usually against the other team's top players.

I'll also throw out that Jukka Timonen is basically Cale Makar. While Jack Kanoff is the overrated Quinn Hughes, Timonen is out here actually being successful and dominant. His 17 goals were second among all defensemen, and he's just getting started in his career. He's about to launch himself into the next stratosphere and I wouldn't be surprised to see him bring in some hardware sooner than later.

I'll tell ya what, most people don't know that the Aittokallio family is huge on playing card and board games. So what they'd ultimately be getting is content where Jax is playing board games with friends, family, his significant other or alone. Now some people won't find that all that interesting, a produced show about board gaming just sounds like TableTop that Wil Wheaton used to do on Geek & Sundry. You're correct. Except there's the OnlyFans aspect of it in which a fan will blow everything off the table randomly throughout the games. It will be hilarious as nobody can see it coming and suddenly it's time to restart.

Oh, and he'll likely be playing naked. I mean, that's what OnlyFans is about right? Everything is naked or something. I don't know, I thought it was about buying cool fans. You know, like outdoor fans that look like leaves, or a really high powered box fan. Something like that. You catch my drift. Ha, get it?

Anyway, naked board gaming, bring it on.

Well, here I was in the pits of despair thinking Gunnar never reached his full potential prior to regression and would slowly waste away into nothingness without ever accomplishing the things I thought he was capable of. And then suddenly, in his first season of regression, he completely blew his past numbers out of the water. Honestly I was just hoping for "competitive" and he came away with a 50+ point season and a pretty strong playoff performance. I'm genuinely not sure what made the difference - maybe our GMs are just FHM wizards, or maybe something I shifted after regression made a really big difference. I did put some additional points into stamina, and I've heard that can make a big difference, so maybe that was it. Maybe all this time the coaches just needed to make the kid run more laps, and he could have been putting up these points years earlier. But I'm pretty psyched about the way he played this season, and if this ends up being his best season, I think I'll be happy with it.

Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason?
Gunnar has always been pretty vocal about being involved in charity back at home in Sweden. He spends a lot of time during the off season every year working with youth hockey and specifically his own outreach program he's established for LGBTQ+ youth in his community, and this year, they're expanding the number of development camps they're able to host for the kids. With a growing number of volunteers to help out, they've been able to schedule five more camps in three new locations that they haven't had the resources to run in past years, so he's pretty excited about the success of the program. He won't be personally attending all of the camps since some of them happen concurrently in different cities and he's not capable of duplicating himself or being in two places at one time, but he has put a lot of work and financial support into making the program a success and he will be working specifically with some players who are getting closer to draft age.

Gunnar's OnlyFans is not a sex thing, it is entirely devoted to his home life. It's probably about 75% Gunnar experimenting with new baked goods and trying new recipes, and doing taste tests with teammates and friends who are willing to be subjected to his experiments (he is actually a pretty good cook/baker now, so it's not like they're suffering most of the time). These exclusive videos usually show the process of him picking out a recipe (with input from his subscribers - that's a thing, right? I don't know, man, I have no idea how OnlyFans works), then making the recipe in his apartment kitchen, then having a teammate or group of teammates over to try it out. Also Gunnar takes off his shirt to cook but that’s about as close as you get to sex stuff. This is the main series of content he has, but the other 25% of his content is entirely devoted to videos of his dogs Maxim and Poppy doing a lot of cute things, trying new treats, and wearing little hats.

Kaapo Kampainen's season was definitely better than the last, I'm not going to lie, although I think his offensive stats were a little underwhelming considering who he was playing with. He shared his third line minutes with Asclepius Perseus Flitterwind, who was fifth in the league in points, but Kampainen only managed 34 points in 66 games, while boasting a -11 differential, which is quite underwhelming for a two-way center who wants to focus on his defensive game. Perhaps the most disappointing stats were the three powerplay point despite having solid power play minutes. Kampainen's development is far from over, but he expected a bit more from his sophomore SMJHL season. With most of the Outlaws core leaving the Juniors, this could give better minutes to Kampainen, so next season could be better. Still, his S57 numbers are way better than his three points in twenty eight games from S56. Kaapo will work on his offensive game and his hockey IQ in the offseason in order to try to decrease his turnovers and improve his overall play.

Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one?

A new role I wish I could create for a skater in FHM is a pest, you know, a Brad Marchand type of player. The player could use his high speed to move quickly around the ice to get into scuffles quickly and it would allow him to pester the opponents quickly. The aggression and bravery attributes are also important, because he would need to get under the skin of a lot of players, usually way bigger than him, so it would take a lot of guts. The key attribute would be bravery, as it takes a lot of courage to annoy the other team as the player would risk trouble and get into fights, even if he isn't a good fighter. This player would be good to break the opponent's momentum by drawing penalties for the opposing team.

Following the SMJHL season and the WJC tournament, Kaapo Kampainen went back to his native Finland to help fight the COVID-19 epidemic. A smart player on the ice, Kaapo is a trained medical practioner and he uses his training to work in various nursing homes and hospital across Finland to help fight the deadly epidemic. While Finland isn't the most affected country by the pandemic, Kaapo felt like he had to help the people in need instead of laying on a beach somewhere. In addition to his medical work for the community, Kaapo is devoting a good part of his free time to a charity helping kids in need to have access to sports, especially hockey. Kaapo was blessed with a wealthy background and he feels kids shouldn't be privileged if they want to play the beautiful sport that his hockey, so that's why he's giving part of his salary to the charity and he organizes training camps in the offseason to help younf Finnish kids to get better, without paying astronomical amount to get to the next level.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

The Quebec City Citadelles were probably the best team in the SMJHL not to make the finals, after they were stopped in the semi-finals by the Armada Anchorage. Victim of the SMJHL playoff format that put the two best regular season teams against one another in the semi-final, Quebec, who were the best regular season team, fell short of the finals against the eventual champions. Led by league leading scorer Zdenko Beranek and Jst Maro and the probably the best goalie tandem in the league in Mat Smith and Tyler Ward, Quebec was the best team not to reach the finals in the SMJHL this year. It remains to be seen if they can repeat their regular season in S58.

I think the Hamilton Steelhawks' logo looks slicker and is overall a better look than the Chicago Syndicate. While I appreciate the mafia throwback with Chicago's logo, I just can't stand the mustard yellow on a hockey jersey. It just reminds me of the god awful Nashville Predators mustard jersey and that's not a good look for a hockey team. Hamilton's logo is a little more generic, but I like the color scheme more. If Chicago's colors were different, my answer would change, but I just can't get past the yellow.

If Kaapo Kampainen were to launch an OnlyFans account, it wouldn't be to show of his body or to flash his wealth or anything like that, as Kampainen is a quiet person who doesn't like to make waves. He would most probably post tutorials of hockey plays or tips and tricks to help players improve their game the Kampainen way. He would also post his diet and training plan so players could be in the same shape Kaapo is. It is worth mentioning that during the Outlaw's grueling schedule last season, Kampainen was of the most utilized forward due to his high stamina and general fitness. Kaapo is uncomfortable with money, so he would probably keep his OnlyFans free so everyone would be able to access it, or he would just charge a small fee and donate all the revenue from the account to charity. To be honest, Kampainen is not the best SMJHL player by a mile and isn't the most popular at all, so I'd be surprised if his account was a success, but he would most probably have fun doing it.

I think Simon LeBlanc had a pretty good season playing for the Atlanta Inferno for the second season in his career. He had a very very good start, and was almost point per game, but it seems he missed some gas to end the season as strong. Nonetheless, he had a better season, probably because he was not stuck playing with Geoff Moore, who was a very old regressing player that can't really play anymore, and now he played mostly with Guy Zheng, easily one of the best defenseman in the league. Simon had 5 more goals (7), 11 more assists (27), so 16 more points, for a total of 34 in the S57 season. He also had more hits and shot blocks and takeaways. So he outperformed himself not just defensively, but offensively too. If LeBlanc had kept playing the way he did at the start of the season, he would easily be the most improved player in the SHL.

Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason?

The Atlanta Inferno was knocked out of the playoffs pretty early, so Simon LeBlanc got bored very quickly. So, he decided to spend his free time by helping out the local community. First of all he went to meet some children in an hospital, to sign anything they have and talk to them to help them forget their pain for a little bit and also give them and their family hope. Also, Simon decided to give 5 million dollars to the families of the kids who couldn't pay for the hospital bills. It's something that really surprises LeBlanc, since that back home in Canada, healthcare is free. After that, LeBlanc also started going around in the streets with his hockey stick to find groups of kids that are playing street hockey, and play with them, just to have fun. He's not even trying hard, he really just wants to let the kids have fun and play with someone that they follow on a daily basis.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

The very very VERY obvious answer here is the Toronto North Stars. Unfortunately for them, they play in the toughest division in the entire league, the Great Lakes Division. Toronto ended dead last in that division, BUT they had still a very good record of 34 wins, 26 losses and 6 overtime losses. That is a better record than 8 teams, and 3 of these actually made the playoffs, these teams being the Atlanta Inferno, the New England Wolfpack and the New Orleans Specters. If Toronto was in any other division, they would without a doubt make the playoffs. I think they are the only team in the SHL really being robbed of a playoffs spot, considering they still compete even if they have to play in a division containing Hamilton, Buffalo and Chicago.

a. The season series between these two teams was tied 3-3. Do you think either team has an advantage in this series or do you see it as a true toss up?
I think every game will be a toss up sadly for both teams. Both of them are pretty much the best teams in the league and any of the players on the squad can make the difference at anytime. I think the goalies will be what makes the difference, and by that I mean which goalie will actually show up and play well.
(63 words)
b. Each of these teams boasts a very strong first powerplay unit - which team has the special teams advantage in this series?
Honestly both of them are very close, but I think overall Hamilton has the edge. They perform better offensively, so if you give them a powerplay they will definitely take that opportunity to score. Chicago does have a very good team defensively though, so they will not let Hamilton score on powerplays that easily, so both teams really need to play at their best.
(64 words)
c. Which of these two teams' brandings do you prefer? Take into account colors, logo, name, location, and anything else you consider relevant.
Definitely Hamilton. I think Chicago's is really not that interesting and super bland. The colors are okay, but the whole syndicate thing is really bad and uninteresting. Hamilton could use a new logo altough, considering they've had theirs for a while. They're branding is kind of stolen too, but i prefer a stolen branding than Chicago's.

So this season, Austin Roenick did meet his expectations and exceeded them by a lot. Mainly because I did not know that the SHL has changed the amount of games play per season. I thought it was still going to be 50 games like it always was but now it is 66 games which is an extra 16 games so the statistics changed a lot and of course, it means more points, more goals and that is something I liked. However, I wanted Austin Roenick to finish the season over point per game and this don did not. Over a stretch of games, he had like 20 assists and 2 goals which is very bad because I want Austin Roenick to only score goals because goals are better than assists. To this day, I am still waiting for Austin Roenick to finish the league with the most goals in the season and it has not happened yet. So one day I hope it happens.

Well this is an easy one. Right now we are all experiencing a pandemic because of a deadly virus that is uncontrollable. So places are being locked down, people are losing their jobs which means they will not have the amount of money they used to, and hospitals will be crowded and there won't be enough beds and supplies. So this is why Austin Roenick has his own Charity to raise money for the people who are struggling during this pandemic and it is very nice of Austin Roenick to do so because he hates seeing people in pain and he wants that fixed. Obviously the government won't do shit because they are a bunch of peasants so Austin Roenick will do and he will make donations to help people and hospitals. Austin Roenick of course will have to spread the message to social distance and wear a mask so that the spread can reduce but we have dickheads in the world who will refuse to so he will have to fight them.

The Quebec City Citadelles were the best team in the SMJHL and did not even make it to the finals or the final 4. This shows that hockey is a complete random sport and a team that finishes with the record ever, or an undefeated season can have a chance to get swept in their first series because hockey. A team that finished with 107 points and the next best had 92 points so basically the Quebec City Citadelles dominated the juniors and did not make the finals. The only team with more than 50 wins and they still did not make it to the final 4 so this is why they are the best team to not make the finals.

The Hamilton Steelhawks are like the Tampa Bay Lightning. Both have a stacked team. Both have an elite goaltender, an elite defense core, and an elite forward core and they have no weaknesses. They both are also regular season teams and end up shitting the bed in the playoffs which we love to see. So that is a perfect NHL SHL comparison. A player comparison would be between Austin Roenick and William Nylander. Both are really good player and difference makers but end up still getting shit on by the fans and media because both are not physical. This is completely bullshit as both have the potential to be the best in the league but because they are soft, they deserve to get shit on. Both of them put up really good seasons and they are almost point per game in the season and both are 1st round picks. Both are really good players and do not deserve to get traded for a bum defenseman.

a. The Hamilton Steelhawks are complete choke artists so obviously Chicago would win game 7. Hamilton does not know how to finish the job and in elimination games, they play like a peewee team which I see them literally from my true eyes. Chicago would destroy Hamilton and it would not be a toss up in any way.
b. Hamilton has a special teams advantage because they get so much opportunities and know when the plan is right. The refs love to help Hamilton and feed the powerplays and so the power play opportunity is normal for them. Chicago rarely gets any so they might get sloppy on the powerplay so that is why Hamilton gets the advantage and still lose.
c. Chicago for sure. I for one who is a Hamilton citizen is demanding the Steelhawks to relocate because they are an embarrassment to this city. The logo is ugly, the colours are awful and city is just pathetic. RELOCATE. Chicago is perfect and has a great colour combination so that is why they are way better.
d. Staring contest. Fuck lap dancing with anyone because that is weird as fuck. Reaching for object on high shelves is bad because I am short and I cannot reach for stuffs up high and it is shameful. And lol imagine playing league in 2021. So yeah, staring contests is great no matter who you have to stare at.

Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?

37 points and a +/- of +11 is a pretty decent second season and playing on the second line. A shooting percentage of 12.61% is something I am very happy about and want to keep up. Getting powerplay time and scoring 3 times there was a big improvement and I am happy to have gotten enough confidence to play both PP and PK. Whilst I am happy on the offensive side I still lack where I want to be the best. Defense. 31 takeaways but also 31 giveaways is NOT good enough and there is much more to be demanded from this. 179 hits might be very good for the league but it is not good enough for me. I want to be a top physical player and need to hit my way into the top three at least for next season. 101 shots blocked is good but I feel like more could be done here as well. To sum it up, offensive goals were hit and defensive goals were not achived. Next season has to be better overall on the ice. (181 words)

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

I will go with SMJHL and it it very obvious that Quebec being knocked out by the Armada is what made one of the top teams not be able to go to the finals. This could probably be regarded as the "real" final in a way due to how FHM 6 handles our playoffs. That said, Anchorage won anyhow. It was probably due to Quebec losing their peak form just before playoffs. The Armada was clearly the second strongest team during the whole regular season and over a series of seven games even if QCC were more likely to win a the Armada win is not at all an impossibility due to the team looking hotter in general compared to how Quebec looked if you compare to their regular season. What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players?

IIHF is always difficult to predict considering the single elimination playoffs so focus will mainly be on the round robin games. From Group A I think the top teams are most likely going to be Canada, Czechia, Japan and Finland. Finland is a wildcard that I just have a good feeling about and could be changed or any of the other teams. In Group B we will probably see teams like Sweden, Great Britain and United States doing the best with a fourth team to make the playoffs that I have no idea who they might be. Players are even more difficult than teams to predict but I believe that we will see some great plays from Theo Morgan as well as Ola Wagstrom. Call it a hunch if you will. For teams to not perform at the top I expect Russia in Group A to potentially struggle together with Latvia in Group B. They seem like the teams to not have a lot of chance to reach the playoffs but once again, it is difficult to say anything for certain regarding the IIHF tournament. (185 words)

b. Each of these teams boasts a very strong first powerplay unit - which team has the special teams advantage in this series?
c. Which of these two teams' brandings do you prefer? Take into account colors, logo, name, location, and anything else you consider relevant.
d. Would you rather get a lap dance from Hugh Jazz, have a staring contest with Luke Atmey (velv's old player), reach for objects on high shelves with Dale Miller, or play League with Parker Smeb?

c. Without a doubt. Chicago Syndicate takes this for me. Starting with colors Hamilton Steelhawks have a very bleak look, nothing outstanding. Syndicate lights the game up with the yellow. As for logo, pretty much the same thing, also bird brandings are not really a thing I like except for Detroit who have made it work in both real life NHL as well as SMJHL. As for that, once again "Syndicate" is a lot more cool than "Steelhawks". Location is really not relevant as branding has more to do with the branding itself and not the location. (97 words)

d. Considering this question containing a lap dance and #16 relates to OnlyFans, I think someone needs to visit horny jail. Now for the real task. Clearly I do not want to reach for objects on high shelves, it's not fun and I'm not very long. Sucks to be me. I think I can do without a lap dance from Hugh Jazz although the name certainly is inviting to it. League could be fun, but it could also be horrible, no offense to Parker Smeb. No, if I had to choose from these options I would clearly want a staring contest with Luke Atmey. Not only is it good psychological practise but who could possibly say no to that name... Maybe I should take that lap dance after all. (128 words)

As my last PT prompt ever I am happy to claim creative license here and do this prompt that no one is allowed to get mad at me because it's my last PT prompt ever.
Many athletes have created OnlyFans accounts recently, including Bec Rawlings, Plaxico Burress, and Adi Spiegelman - if your SHL player created an account what premium content are fans around the world subscribing to see? It doesn't have to be sex stuff but it doesn't not have to be :o Would your player be successful on this platform? No graphic option for this one! Goodbye!

First of all, what the fuck. Secondly, Granström is a really sexy man and while I would not say no to him getting an OnlyFans for that reason it just does not seem to be fitting for his character. For the final argument of what the actual premium content that Granström would make it would probably have to be something to do with hockey. Now, Granström is not that usual hockey player looking to be the best scorer or the playmaker of the league. He wants to be an annoying grinder that takes the win with physical play and therefore his premium content would not be the most fun or interesting unless you are actually interested in some behind the scenes and that side of hockey. The content would probably be in line with "Gym with Granström" or "Jonathan plays a prank on teammates" or "Learn how to tilt your opponents with Granström". Perhaps even occationally showing off some of his skating abilities. (163 words)

Task 2 - (155 of 100)
Defensemen could use a role that gives more value at the highest levels of TPE. I would suggest a “Ironman Defenseman” role. An Ironman would have focus skills that emphasize hard minutes and extended shifts, with primarily physical tag skills. Stamina, Strength, and Balance round out the physical focus skills, allowing the player to take more and harder shifts. On defense, Positioning and Defensive Read allow the player to play efficiently, reducing their stamina consumption to get in strategically advantageous situations. Finally, on offense, Offensive Read and Getting Open allow the player to contribute to the team’s scoring by being in the right place at the right time. The Ironman Defenseman would require a ton of TPE to be very effective, as they need a solid build to support their focus skills, but at that 1800+ breakpoint they would be able to do 25 minutes every night and 30 or more when the coach calls.

As always, Dee Centerman IV spent his offseason supporting the Special Olympics and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. In preparation for his first season with Seattle, Centerman IV moved out as soon as the Anchorage season (and celebration) was over. Through his contacts in Vancouver, Centerman IV was connected with the Special Olympics Seattle and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kings County. The Special Olympics are going through a tough time, with COVID shutting down many events and making both competition and practices difficult. Centerman IV hasn’t been able to donate his time yet, but did make an introductory donation and a video pledge to visit next year’s events. Centerman IV also made a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kings County. With lots of question marks around school attendance and many after-school programs shutting down, organizations like the Boys and Girls Clubs need more help than ever supporting children that are in need or at risk.

Task 4 (1 of 1)
Season Fifty-Eight
The Challenge Cup is a Cup
SHL Haiku

Task 5 (104 of 100)
The best team to miss the finals was quite clearly the Buffalo Stampede. Taking the inevitable champion Chicago Syndicate to seven games, the Stampede were just a few goals away from knocking Chicago out of contention entirely. It was clear that any one of those three teams--Chicago, Hamilton, and Buffalo--could have won the Challenge Cup this season. They were the top 3 teams in the league in points, traded divisional wins with each other all season, and unfortunately two of them had to pair off in semifinals. Chicago pulled out the Game 7 win over Buffalo and the rest, as they say, is history.

Task 12 (a: 61 of 50 | b: 67 of 50 | c: 82 of 50)
a: the Chicago-Hamilton series was as true of a toss-up as we have ever seen in the SHL finals. Both teams had similar scoring, similar point distribution between skater positions and between scoring lines, similar goals against and goaltending quality, and similar play-driving and possession statistics across lines. These teams are as close to a “mirror match” as we may ever see.

b. Controversially, I think the answer is neither. Both Chicago and Hamilton are notoriously disciplined teams, allowing a combined average of four penalty minutes per game. While both teams have scoring leaders who depend on power play goals, neither of them are likely to get those opportunities. Even strength will be the defining factor between these squads, as they won’t get many looks in 5 on 4 play.

c. Between the teams, I much prefer Hamilton’s branding. In terms of color, location, and jersey designs, I don’t have a strong preference. But when it comes to branding and logo, I think the Steelhawks have a much firmer identity and a much easier to read logo. From a distance, the Syndicate logo is incredibly difficult to read as a mobster, and while the Syndicate makes sense as a “oh yeah Chicago mob sure” idea I don’t love it as a hockey brand.

Task 13 (108 of 100)
In studying the playoffs, my series MVP vote goes to Nick Connolly. With 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points across the series, Connolly was on the scoresheet nearly every game. He was a constant force on the breakout Chicago second line. Some could argue Gunnar Soderberg had a more star-making moment in Game 3, with his 1g 3a explosion onto the scene. That said, Connolly’s authoritative finishing ability with 8 goals makes him clearly the strongest competitor for series MVP, especially in a series where even strength play was critical and the team’s typical top scorers couldn’t rely on power play goals to pad their totals.

I think Park was Mr. Consistent this season.  Throughout Park's entire tenure in the J he was a consistent defensive asset averaging a little under half a point per game.  Really outside of shot blocks at almost 2 per game in S57 Park was essentially right at his career per game averages in all defensive categories.  Park suffered offensively with less PP time, but Mr. Consistent surprised no one with his production and I am good with that.  The team went up and down throughout my tenure in KEL so to say that I was able to be a steadying force is fine with me.  Bringing this back to S57 it was my last a defenseman so I wish I did a little better to get some more serious consideration for a defensive award, but happy with the individual results.  Next season in BAP as a forward I've gotta get pucks in net more than I did in S57. I know I'll have more opportunities to score so if I can keep up at 5% shooting, then all I have to say is hell yeah!

Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one?

I'd love to see a role where a player can elevate their performance and be clutch..  Not sure what I'd call the role and it would honestly be incredibly OP if it made it into FHM, but I like the idea of a player that can directly elevate their performance late in a game and win more faceoffs, or get 1 more stamina to take a longer shift and grind out the final few minutes to hold onto a 1-goal lead.  This role would require more investment in mental stats so spending points there makes the player overall worse the rest of the time with the payoff of demonstrable improvement in certain situations.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

It's gotta be QCC down in the J.  Sure they got 16 more games, but they're still the first team to break 100 points and on top of it they finished with the 2nd best pt% in SMJHL history since the switch to FHM.  Need another reason? Their 107 points put them at a .811 pt% and ANC was second with a .697 pt%.  No other team in their league was even close to as dominant from start to finish in the regular season.  The only reason they fell short of a finals appearance is because of a shit draw against that very same ANC team and FHM's dumb 12-team playoff format.  Both teams in the finals play in the Western Conference, but QCC deserved their shot at history as the best team in the east by a wide margin.

d. Would you rather get a lap dance from Hugh Jazz, have a staring contest with Luke Atmey (velv's old player), reach for objects on high shelves with Dale Miller, or play League with Parker Smeb?

a. If the regular season were a playoff series these two teams would need a game 7 thriller to crown a champion and I see this as no different.  They were the two best teams in the league during the season and were separated by 5 points once things were all said and done.  This is gonna be an incredible close series and I hope that it ends up being 3-3 so that we can have our game 7 for all the marbles.

b. Chicago has the power play advantage in this series.  They didn't have any one guy dominate on the power play like Michael Scarn (11 goals) did for Hamilton.  Instead they had three guys all finish with 9 or more PPG in the regular season.  There is no one guy to key in on where you can say "If we stop him, we stop the power play" for Chicago.  For a little added context Theo Morgan was second on Hamilton with 7 PPG and had 8 fewer PPP than Scarn did.

c. As a sucker for a good gold and yellow theme (except the Penguins, fuck those guys) I've gotta go with Chicago.  Entering the league I had my eye on them as a potential destination in addition to Baltimore because who doesn't want to join a syndicate? I played the shit out of Assassin's Creed Syndicate and think it's a pretty solid name.

d. I'm completely out of the loop with the last two so if someone wants to fill me in I'm all ears.  However, looking at Miller's player profile my mans is 5'10" so I think Miller and Park would make a pretty decent tag team reaching things on high shelves.  Miller comes with an added bonus of only weighing 180 pounds so Park's 13 strength is plenty to put Miller on his shoulders and get things from those extra high shelves no man can do alone.

Thank God I did not last seasons CW because there probably were identical questions but in other words. If I had talked about S56 I would say it was a disaster. The S57? Well, it went another direction and I was positively surprised. My player finally started to kick scoring and PDO was way better. If my memory is right then it was my best PDO since rookie season. I want my player to be a scorer defenceman. He finally surpassed/clinched double-digit number in that category. More or less I’m satisfied with my players' results. In overall they are astonishing but I’m quite disappointed about “+/-” rating value. I mean I score 44 points but only +3. If it would be negative I would not have any cheer about it at all. Funny but I’m playing with the same build for 3 seasons so probably it depends only on teams' success. Next year? I will make a new build with my Dragons!

Well, my plan is to create multinational “Labsvārds” crew in way of several players of different nations. Also, their surnames would be “Labsvārds” translated to their language or 2nd best alternative. Like my new player would be Innokenty Dobroslov and he would be characteristic of Russian goalscoring. The main goal would be Kovalchuk alike player. Fast skater, laser speed shot, superb puckhandling. So after that, You could say that the main 3 attributes would be shooting accuracy, puck handling, and probably good speed and acceleration. Safer would be to pick shooting accuracy as a key attribute and sniper as a key role. Carrer could go also Dangler or Perimeter Shooter alike.

I think this will be damn a good season for my Calgary Dragons friend and amazing Captain Maxime Bouchard. Canada is striking and realistically thinking this team will take a gold and Maxime is in great shape and could show some records like Scarn last year. Also, I think Team Latvia will get better and rise like a phoenix. Eventually, my performance should be better too since I should be able to update my build! I feel that Japan would not go so well as last year. I don’t know. Just some kind of feeling not objectively given thought. Just feeling. Also, I feel that Team The United States of America will go beast mode too. Frankly this year gonna be between Team Canada and the Team United States of America. SHL-NHL comparisons. With the NHL season kicking off again, what are some team or player comparisons between SHL and NHL? I think Maxime Bouchard is the perfect example of Claude Giroux. Not only because it is his render but also game works just like him. It is like “magic hands”. Also, they had up and downs in goal/assist ratios in their carriers. But most of all – they are Captains of teams they have been whole their carrier.

Batsbak somehow reminds me of Eric Staal. I have no exact explanation but this somehow fits more. But just if I relate to that what pops in my mind first!

Esa Parmbourg could be….. Brayden Point? Maybe there would be a better option than this (except Alexander Barkov because it is his render). I chose point because Whenever You think of Tampa Bay Lighting center forward You see the Stamkos. Parmbourg is one of the center guys that are with another elite center and fights for 1./2. spot.

Michael Choybuk is like Zach Parise in the way of goalscoring.

May series MVP is….. I have no fucking idea because I have no fucking idea who got the Challenge cup. Really I don’t give two fingers about it. So…. Let me check! Is it Chicago? They have the most points according to stats sheets. I have no idea where to check it so I’m gonna give a blank shot and say that Syndicate won and the MVP should be Nick Connoly or Gunnar Soderberg. Smeb is an outstanding player but these two young fellas should be having this staff from once in a lifetime opportunity. They both great but I would give the edge to Nick because he has a better +/- ratio and it is very important in playoffs although Gunnar was an outstanding goalscorer.

The Big Wanger, aka Augustus Wang, had the most erect season of his entire Simulation Hockey League career. The Gabriel Johnson role would likely be the most overpowered role in the entire league if it were to be introduced into the FHM engine. This is mainly due to the benefits a team would have from properly utilizing the role itself. For context, the role involves placing the player designated with the role “on the block” or “on the bench indefinitely”, all of which are especially valuable for teams like the Seattle Argonauts Garglenuts who have 2 of the most flaccid players in the entire league in Gabriel Johnson and Jack Kanoff. In all situations on and off the ice, you will see immediate improvements to your team by placing them into the “Gabriel Johnson” role as they will no longer be malignant tumors that erode your team’s performance. Professionalism and temperament are the most (and only) important attributes for this role because anyone with the role needs to accept that they’re a plug.

c. Which of these two teams' brandings do you prefer? Take into account colors, logo, name, location, and anything else you consider relevant.
d. Would you rather get a lap dance from Hugh Jazz, have a staring contest with Luke Atmey (velv's old player), reach for objects on high shelves with Dale Miller, or play League with Parker Smeb?

a.) Neither team has an advantage because both of them resemble the extreme inequality that exists in the league. They are both at the peak of the league but lack the professionalism that true champions require. If anything, it’s a shame that we have these two dumpster fires representing the league on its biggest stage. (54 Words)

b.) The Steelhawks definitely have the advantage because they do not watch anime. It has been proven that people who watch anime or read manga are the absolute scum of the world and are better off under the boot of the rest of those in society. However, if you were to really emphasize the “special” to include special needs people such as weebs, then the Syndicate would be the winners. (69 Words – nice)

c.) Both of them are trash. I don’t know why you’d want to be associated with a “steel hawk” or a “syndicate”. Neither are intimidating and once again, it is a travesty that we have a bunch of cheaters against a bunch of weebs. This challenge cup finals will go down as the most disgraceful finals in history because the branding of both teams is subpar and does not include enough sexual energy or innuendo. (74 Words)

d.) I love myself some BOOBA so this one’s an easy answer. I’d obviously go with Hugh Jazz because a big man like him is definitely packing a big trunk that makes the Wang turn into a hunk. Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?

I think that this season is one I would like to forget as quick as I can!

It was the worst season that Alexis has had since he became a part of the league even though the team that he was playing on should have been strong!

I did not score many points and the team lost a lot of games so it is not a fun one for me to try and think about. The goal that I had for my season was to try to win a Four Star Cup with the team but that did not happen so it was a disappointing season. I don’t know what was the cause for playing so badly but it is a real shame for me.

I hope that next season is going to be better for me when I go to play in the SHL. We will have to wait and see what happens!

Over the offseason your player is getting involved in some charitable causes. What is your player/team doing around the community/for charity this offseason?

Alexis Vermette is a person who has always been taught that it is very important to help other people and to do whatever he can to help the charities that he cares about!

Because he has just moved to a new city to play for the New England Wolfpack he has decided that he will try to help his new city fight the COVID-19 pandemic by delivering meals to some of the most vulnerable and lonely residents of the city. He has donated money to help poor communities in his city to fight against the pandemic and he will do everything that he can to try to help the people who are less fortunate that he is to do what is right!

He is going to be calling Boston his home so it is the right thing for him to do to try to make it a better place to live in for every person who is there already especially because it is such a difficult time that we are living in!

What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players?

Because I am a prospect player for Canada I am going to be very kind to my team and say that we can win the whole tournament again!

Canada is a very strong team with a lot of the best players in the SHL on the team which makes them a team that I think can win the IIHF tournament every season. Even though I will not be a player on the team I will be cheering them on and hope that we can win as many games as possible!

There are some other good teams that will try to beat Canada like the USA and Sweden but I don’t think that there are any other teams who will be able to beat us. We are too strong a team and I think we are going to be taking home another gold medal to make the fans very happy for another season!

Money had another improving season in the SMJHL. He improved his seasons points from 25 last season to 37 this year, equalling his 25 points total in just assists. This was in part due to how much better the team did in general in Kelowna and he has his teammates to thank for the points as his SH% was an abysmal 7.45%. He did put in work all around for the team though with nearly double the amount of hits, takeaways and Shots blocked which was definitely important in bringing the team to a better regular season record.

The biggest improvement this season though was that he got into his first fight in the league. While it was quickly broken up by linemen, it shows great progression for Money as he’s finding his confidence in the league. While his 63 PIM was much increased, as a veteran he sometimes had to make the big decisions to show the rookies how it’s done.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

The best team in the SMJHL to not make the finals were undoubtedly the Quebec City Citadels. With an astounding regular season record, they were the only team to go over 100 points and lost less than 10 games in regulation. Nearly 50 more goals than any other team, they were prolific and won 81% of their games. Unfortunately, they wound up playing the hardest game in the semi-finals, in which they would just be pipped at the post by Anchorage who would eventually win it all in what was a series that could have easily been the finals. That 7 game series was the series everyone was watching as the winner would surely decide the trophy.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

The finals MVP has to be Nick Connolly for Chicago. When everything is on the line, the biggest players show up and that’s what Connolly did in game 5 for Chicago. 2 Goals and an assist including the overtime winner to secure the trophy would in itself be enough for me to crown him MVP but he also scored in a tight Game 4, got 2 assists in game 3, a goal and 2 assists in game 2 to help Chicago even up the series. While Chicago had an excellent series all around, Connolly made the plays in the important games which is what the MVP is about.

Patrik Money is a simple man off the field. He owns a farm in Yellowknife where he grows a large number of potatoes to supply to the surrounding areas. However this year, many residents had struggled so Money dropped his prices for them and as such decided to supplement his income with an OnlyFans account. It started with innocuous photos of him out in the fields harvesting potatoes, at which many of his admirers were impressed with his physique. As subscribers increased, layers of clothes decreased even in the cold conditions of Yellowknife. However even the raunchiest photos of Money covered by only his home grown potatoes would not match the surge in increase of when he added a cooking section to his channel. He would dress in only an apron and teach his subscribers the best way to cook potatoes. ‘Boil ‘em, mash ‘em, stick ‘em in a stew’ was only the beginning and before long, what had started out as a debaucherous  side hustle turned into his own cookig tv show.

I’m pretty happy with how I did this season. My goal coming into the season was to take the record for hits in a single season, even though we were playing more games than before, it was still important for me. I have been competing with Boris in the physical game on the ice since I joined the league so being able to take the record in my final year in the juniors was pretty big. So I guess I’m pretty happy with how I excelled, I took that and the record for career hits. However I think I came up short in the playoffs, and coming into next season I’m going to the big leagues and I have to step up my game to contribute to the team. I really wanted to win playoffs in my final year with the team and get a 4 star cup, but unfortunately we fell short again. So I both surpassed and fell short of my goals this season. Pog

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

Hello homerism my old friend, I’m going to tell you about the threat of the Colorado First line and the disappointment of not making the finals yet again. Our First line consisted of Josh Dolphin, MVP Candidate himself, Jarmo Kekalainen and my Juni Panda. 62, 60 and 43 points combined for a 165 points. With an average Shot Percentage of 12% we were a massive threat on the ice and we were able to lead our team to a crazy start to the season and in my opinion we should have powered our way through to the finals, but we just have some rough times on the way to the finals and fell short.

Design a Challenge Cup championship t-shirt for one of the teams in the finals. (A four-star cup t-shirt for the SMJHL is ok as well.) Hey maybe if your design is good enough it'll make it to the merch store!

You say it doesn’t have to be sex stuff, but have you seen the body on Juni Panda. He’s going to create not only sexual stuff but a wonderful page that does a lot of cosplay. It would start with simple Gundam Cosplay, making costumes of different gundam characters. From there he would expand to the popular shonen of the day. Your Jojo Cosplay, Naruto Cosplay, Sword Art Online Cosplay, etc. Maybe do some collaborations with other famous cosplayers to help grow his page. But knowing what some people are looking for he might dip into other things, like maybe doing some gender bending cosplay or doing some more androgenous cosplay just to appeal to all the demographics he can. Then one day, when he’s sitting on the edge he gets the offer for a big sponsorship deal, the only problem is that he can’t be playing Hockey at the same time. You see as a old fashioned Goon on ice, he was putting his body at more risk than the average player and since his body was his money maker on Only Fans, this sponsor wouldn’t let him play at all. So he has to decide, Only Fans or Only Hockey. He will sit and contemplate this for a couple days, but he will come to the conclusion that only he can. In a massive youtube video that is shared across the world Juni Panda will inform the world that he will not be taking sponsorships on his only fans and continue to dedicate his life to hockey. He just likes hitting people too much. He will continue to post to his only fans but only if he can continue to play hockey.

While we came up short of our ultimate goal as a team, this was a pretty good season for me individually, both in the regular season and in the playoffs. I finished well above a point per game despite playing on a 3rd line with a rookie and another young player, I'm not in the running for mvp or anything but at this point of my career it's more about longevity and just avoiding outright bad seasons, so I'm pretty happy with my performance. I'm also glad that I was able to help Rotycus Scott lead all rookies in points, both he and Rikard Hammarberg are very talented young players with a bright future ahead of them and together we formed one of the best third lines in the league. This was also the first time in 7 seasons when I finished above point per game in the playoffs. Next season I would like to do more of the same, only I wish I'd improve my shooting % a little.

Create a new skater or goalie role for FHM. In what scenarios is this new player role best utilized? What attributes are considered important attributes to this new role, and why? Which attribute is the key one?

The Gabe Johnson defenseman role, let's call it the "4th forward". This is a defenseman whose only goal is to generate offense, this player never backchecks and has no interest in helping out defensively at all. The key attributes for this role are all the offensive attributes except screening, plus speed and acceleration. Improving your defensive attributes will actually lower your rating for this role because that's not what you're supposed to do if you're building a 4th forward kind of defenseman. Well, basically, just copy Gabe's build. His build will be rated 20 as a 4th forward, and the closer your build is to his the higher your 4th forward rating will be.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

It's pretty clear that Buffalo was the best team not to make the SHL finals. It was highly likely that the final would be between 2 of hamilton, chicago and buffalo which ended up happening. I guess Texas had an outside chance to make it, Edmonton was probably the only non-GL team with a real shot to make it to the finals but then they had that cap space thing, Winnipeg had a great run but realistically it was always gonna be 2 teams from the great lakes division in the final and the team out of the aforementioned 3 not to make it is, indeed, the best SHL team that didn't make the finals this season.

What's your prediction for this season's IIHF tournament? Which teams do you expect to do well (or not well)? Which players?

I expect this season to be fairly similar to the last one because the pecking order changes very slowly in the IIHF. Canada should be very good once again and hopefully we can win back to back (or did we not win last season? I don't remember tbh), but anyway, almost half of our roster is 2k players and especially our top 4 is very strong, pretty sure that we have four 1800+ tpe defensemen. Though one of them is Gabe, to be fair. Great Britain and USA should be among the favorites to win as well, Japan and Sweden could also surprise. Czechia has a good but aging roster, probably still good enough to win though. I predict Michael Scarn to be the points leader in round robin because he just had an mvp type of season for Hamilton, he's on a good team but it's not as stacked as Canada, for example, and he's clearly their best player and #1 offensive option.

Calgary Dragons are the Detroit Red Wings of the SHL, only like 5-6 seasons behind. This comparison makes sense to me because Calgary has a very long playoff streak and so did Detroit, both teams won some cups during their streaks and just generally have been very good. Now Calgary is trying to keep their window open despite a mostly aging roster, some of their legendary players have already retired or are close to retiring. Ultimately all streaks come to an end eventually, Detroit's did when they started a rebuild and it's interesting to see how long Calgary can delay theirs, they do have a very experienced GM who acquired a couple of good players the past couple of seasons. I'm not at 150 words yet so I'm gonna have to come up with another one, ok, NOLA are the Vegas Golden Knights because they are an expansion team that made the finals in their inaugural season and has been a contender for quite a while after that.
