S58 mPT #2 Most Important Stat

Depending on what position you are playing, I would argue there's a different most important stat, the below is if you can only invest in 1 specific stat.

For Centers it would be face-offs as even if you only have that stat maxed, you will at least give your team the puck almost every time there is a face off situation

For Forwards, it would be Screening, as you would then be able to assist your team offensively by screening the goalie, even if you can't do anything else (I would have said shot block here if it wasn't limited to 12 for forwards)

For Defenders it would be Shot Blocking, to ensure you act as a second goalie, stopping as many pucks as possible before they can get dangerous

I'm a firm believer that Getting Open is the reason I have done well so far in my career. I have been lucky to have some pretty blessed seasons (including this one currently going on still so confused). But like others have said, don't go overboard into one stat. A well balanced player will thrive. That being said, good chemistry with linemates is important so it's okay if you have an unbalanced build as long as you have players that can compliment you.

The most important stat in Franchise Hockey Manager is “greed” and it’s a damn shame that we can’t put any tpe into it in the SHL. I want 100 greed, damnit.

the most important stat is strength. being strongly is being power. you must be strongest on the ice to get position, and to shoot strong shots. weak players say oh boo hoo your pass is too aggressive. they are weak, and should build more strength

I don’t know the most important stat, and I don’t want to know. What I want to know is what type of player they are trying to build. I can give them suggestions on what stats are useful for that build, but ultimately, I’m going to tell them to worry less about what will be the most effective, and to build what will be the most fun for them. Maybe that means building the most optimized cookie cutter build. They can get that kind of advice from plenty of other people in the league. My advice would be to find a player in the NHL they want their player to mimic, then find that player’s FHM attributes, and build towards that.

Honestly, if they wanted to know the most important stat, I’d probably think it would be accuracy. Most people that are new want to score goals, and getting shooting accuracy up would be a godsend to help them put some away in the net to better help increase their team’s ability to score, which in turn leads to wins.

Honestly I would probably recommend they ask someone else. I assume a balanced approach is probably best but I still mostly just ask people who know more stuff and things lol

Honestly? Whatever. You. Want.

The coolest thing about this league is the fact that there are so many viable builds that can make you competitive at your position. It's unlike any other league I've been a part of. Sure there is a meta of sorts, but you're not locked into one specific build to be effective on the ice. You're going to love this league because of it.

Seriously though, some core stats include Defensive Read and Positioning for blue liners, and Offensive Read and Getting Open for forwards. Past that, focus on your physicals and try to keep it fairly balanced between those and your specific position skills.

In my opinion, the most important thing is endurance and strength, because with it you will be able to do everything. With it you can withstand the whole game and not lose morale if the game is lost or something unfavorable is done to the team, as well as it will allow you to fight for victory in the last third of the minute. Statistics are also important, because the team's agents get very stuck in it if there have been no good indicators, so they are not a capable player and will not be able to score a goal, but it is all made of passes.

The most important stat is your K/D ratio. You can have a ton of kills or wins, but it's nothing if you don't have an above average K/D ratio.

I think most important stat is stamina. If you can't last one minute shift one ice and at least 10 minutes in whole game, then all other skills are pointless.

The most important attribute would have to be strength. It not only helps you stay on your feet. It helps you hit people and knock some people out.

Well this is certainly a bit of a loaded question. For brand new users the recommendation is usually a bunch of things as we want to see balanced builds, so if we are going to harp on one specific stat let's say Stamina. It is changed to start a lot better, but is still a stat that i like to see around 13 for juniors, it lets them get pretty good minutes and not be completely drained after games.

I don’t think there is a most important stat, it all depends on what kind of role you’re playing. However, my favorite stat is strength. It just helps everywhere and in basically every situation. Super useful across the board

This is not as simple a question as it seems. First you need to take into account what position they want to play and what their goal is for their player. Do they want to be a goal scoring machine? Then Getting Open or Offensive Read would probably be their most important stats. Do they want to be a more well rounded wing? Then they don't really have a most important stat, but they should know not to go above 13 on any of their stats to help keep a balanced build. Maybe the stats like Speed and Strength would be more important to a well rounded player. If they want to be a great defender than Defensive Read and Shot Blocking are their most important stats. For me personally as a wing who wanted to score goals, but not be a detriment on the defensive end I prioritized Getting Open and Offensive Read, but honestly having a balanced build is probably the best advice I could give anyone starting out. No need to pigeon hole yourself when you are first starting out, especially with the low TPE cap that is easily hit early on in the Junior league.
