Minor Announcement: for the S60 Class and beyond, Rookie Tasks will be made available after the Trade Deadline.
WHO ARE THESE TASKS FOR? These tasks are for S59 SMJHL Rookies (S60 SHL Draftees, AKA anyone with (S60) next to their player name)
TO CLAIM TASKS: Simply make a post in this thread and link each task you completed in the post to be graded. Please keep all claims you are making at the same time in the same post and a member of the Recruitment Team will come by and grade each task to verify completeness and award the proper amount of site money.
Once a recruitment member has edited your post (you will be notified via a ping), please create a separate post in the thread for any additional tasks completed. Make sure to link any previous claim posts in subsequent claim posts!
8 tasks are available, and you will receive $1,000,000 per task. If you complete all 8 tasks, you will receive a $1,000,000 completion bonus for a payout of up to $9,000,000 total.

This was my first time actually being able to catch an SHL stream live. Coming from the ISFL, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. At first glance, I had no clue what I was looking at. But as I watched more and more of each game, I slowly started to understand where everything was on the screen, and how to follow the location of the puck on the ice. In total, there were 17 games played in the stream I watched, although my team, QCC, only played one game. This, however, was a great game to watch. QCC simply dominated. Both the offense and defense were rolling. QCC jumped out to a 3-0 lead early, let one in unfortunately, but then tacked on another 4 goals. Although I did not see any ice time, I was happy just to watch my team get a win in their last game of the regular season.

I am writing about the our first playoff game (streamed yesterday)
Super exciting stream as it is my frist time experiencing the playoff format from the SHL or SMJHL to be specific. I love those BO7 matches!
After we finished last in the regular season we're facing the New Foundland Beserkers.
In game one we took a super early lead when Lucas Johansson scored with an assist from Duncan The Walrus. With 16:31 still left on the clock in P1 we had still some way to go.
Sadly with 1:28 left on the clock in P2 Dwayne Gretzky from the New Foundland Bersekers scored the 1:1 with an assist from Pasta the Turtle.
Super early in the 3rd Period Bas O'Bigbers scored the 1:2 for the New Foundland Berserkers with an assist from Ric Charlesworth and Robert E.O.
That game ended 1:2 for the New Foundland Beserkers. Of course we will not let them get away with that. And the series is currently at New Foundland 2 - 1 Main Timber

S58 SMJHL Playoffs Round 1 Game 1
In this task, I’m going to talk about the first game of the playoffs in the SMJHL.
In this game, the ultimate underdog Maine Timber, that ended in the last place in the regular season, played in Newfoundland against the Berserkers.
After just over 3 minutes, Maine was able to surprise its opponents with an early opening goal. Lucas Johansson scored after an assist from Duncan the Walrus. After that, Newfoundland got better and better into the game and created several good chances. However, it took until just before the end of the second period for the Beserkers to equalize with Dwayne Gretzky scoring for them. At the beginning of the last period, Newfoundland scored their second goal after just one minute. Bas O'Bigbers scored for the Berserkers this time. After that, there were several chances on both sides, but no more goals were scored, so Newfoundland won the game 2-1 with a shot ratio of 43:16. In the end, the win went deservedly to Newfoundland, but Maine came very close to a surprise.
