Now, from the standpoint of being the head, do you guys have suggestions for how I can handle things to ensure we're getting the right players? Obviously I can't totally guide decisions in voting/nominations, but does anyone have ideas for way the voting could be modified or structured in a way to ensure that we're getting the right people? I am open to ideas, and if you'd rather express them privately, feel free to toss me a message on Discord or via PM.

For the All-Star game that we had done, I am looking into a way to do a better job with that next year. As it stands, that was the first time through it, and there was some obvious glaring issues regarding team representation. That will be better next season.

This is actually atrocious. I’m fucking appalled at this list, and I’m on the committee.

I’m at work so I’ll publicly post my picks soon, but I’ll tell everyone this:

I voted Krash as my top winger.

Not ONE single other person on the committee gave him a vote. And we pick 3 wingers and 3 Forwards. So that’s six possible spots he could’ve gone.

This is real bad. I’m so sorry everyone.

I think it starts with screening applicants and making sure they aren't just there to collect a paycheck. I get it, everyone needs money on this site, but you need people that won't just say, "yup, that's the top points getters, they must be all-stars!" Without actually looking into factors outside of points. At this point, personnel is your issue.

I'd talk to your members and ask them for their reasoning behind these selections. Make them write 2-3 sentences for each submission and why they believe that that person deserves a spot above others. Because right now, this is lazy and a real disgrace.
