Graded! 5 completed tasks for $5M. Please make a new post for future tasks. @Pingy Pingu
"Bring back Pingy Pingu Lunga Gumba esq. And I mean bring him all the way back. I want every thread on this forum that involves even a modicum of salt to get razed to the ground by our most notorious shitposting penguin. I want every thunderdome to drown in ABAGABA spam and a signature that doesn't end. I want the userbase of this fine league to cower in terror, slinking about the forums and making as little noise as possible for fear of attracting the Shitpost Slenderman. When some poor immigrant from the NFL sim blunders into the forum and makes an angry post about how his player slipped to the early second round despite having done ALL the rookie tasks(!), let the veteran survivalists stare in horror and pity while the newbie rages. They will know it is only a matter of time before @Pingy Pingu descends upon his post like a ravening wolf and obliterates his tread, reducing it to a radioactive waste-dump of unintelligible spam. They will not interfere, for Pingy is our immune system. Because he can take it. Our Dark Knight of Shitposting"
Watched preseason day 3. Anaheim played Nevada in the first livestreamed game. There were several chances at both ends, but it looked like the early goal from Rude Sniff for Nevada would be enough for them to hang on and win, until Top Cheddar buried one on the powerplay for Anaheim. The game would eventually go the OT and be quickly won by Nevada, with a goal from Raimo Helmianin.
The second game saw Colorado take on Vancouver. It was a back and forth affair for the first two periods, with the game entering the third tied at 2. At that point, the wheels fell off for Vancouver, as Colorado would score three straight goals to win 5-2.
The third game was between St. Louis and Newfoundland. It was a barn burner, with Newfoundland taking a 2-0 lead into the second, only for St. Louis to score 3 in that frame. Newfoundland would score one themselves, sending it to the third tied at three. Both teams would score in the third before Newfoundland got the game winner from Nike Kickz Jr.

I watched the SMJHL games for preseason Day 2. As a new member of the Colorado Raptors, I was interested in their results. VOD
Game 1: Kelowna Knights vs Nevada Battleborn
Period 1: Pretty lopsided with the Knights outshooting the Battleborn 12-5, with no scores
Period 2: Not much going on but Battleborn tying the shooting battle 8-8, still no scores
Period 3: Finally, some scoring. All tied up, 1-1
OT: Somehow, the Knights survive the power play and keeps it tied at 1-1
SO: After a ton of rounds, Rob Wright from the Battleborn ends it. Battleborn 2-1.
Game 2: Detroit Falcons vs Maine Timber
Period 1: No goals, 14-10, Detroit in shots
Period 2: Timber pulls out to a 2-0 lead
Period 3: The Timber solidifies the win with 1 more goal. Timeber 3-0
Game 3: Colorado Raptors vs Anaheim Outlaws
Period 1: Unfortunately, this one was ugly... Outlaws up 5-1 on only 17 shots
Period 2: Raptors attempting to mount a comback. Outlaws still up 7-5
Period 3: In the end, Outlaws win 8-5
Game 4: St. Louis Scarecrows vs Vancouver Whalers
Period 1: Tied 0-0. Whalers leading in shots, 16-5
Period 2: Whalers up 4-1
Period 3: Started like a massacre but the Scarecrows brought is back a bit. Whalers win 6-3
Game 5: Carolina Kraken vs Quebec City Citadelles
Period 1: Kraken up 2-0. And they should, outshooting the Citadelles 22-10
Period 2: Both teams tap 1 in, 3-1, Kraken
Period 3: The Citadelles attempt to mount the comeback but fall 3-2 to the Kraken
Game 6: Anchorage Armada vs Newfoundland Berserkers
Period 1: Close in shots, but the Berserkers are up 1-0
Period 2: Total domination by the Berserkers, up 3-0 with a 17 shot advantage
Period 3: More of the same. Shots 35-12, Berserkers. They win 5-0

5. Create a graphic and post in the weekly submissions forum of the graphics thread found HERE
- Please put that this graphic is a "Rookie Task Graphic" in the title of the thread. Every graphic that is submitted as a rookie task graphic will receive a base payout equivalent to a grade of .5 / 5 on the graphics grading scale for 125k. With the 1M received for doing this task we hope this mitigates that payout and also makes things much easier on the graphics team. By labeling it a "Rookie Task Graphic" as well, you will not use your 1st-time graphic bonus.
NOTE: If you do not label the graphic with "Rookie Task Graphic," then your post will be submitted to normal grading guidelines and will use up your 1st-time graphic bonus.

The main games I watched were related to my current team the Anaheim Outlaws, of course. First we took on the stinky Vancouver Whalers, and after going out to an early 2-0 lead, the feeling in the Lr was very solid. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. My player hit a crossbar, the closest I've been to a point yet this season, and then we fell behind 3-2. We, sadly, were unable to bridge the gap and tie the game in time, but we had a good game for a back-up goaltender. Later in the stream, we played the Colorado Raptors, who we fell behind 2-0 against quickly, but came back strong, tying the game and taking them into a long shootout, which went 6 rounds, but ultimately, we took the win in the end. Finally, we closed the stream out with a game against the Maine Timber, another game that was quite close, but in the end we were able to steal a 3-2 win from them, despite being outshot by a decent margin. All in all, a good 3-2 sim for us for sure!
