New this season, word count does not play any part in earning the participation plus point! Please be aware.
The SHL world was shocked to see expansion being announced for season 60. Everyone has that one branding that they'd leave their team for, no matter how happy they are there. What i your branding that could rip you away from your home?

You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements; several users who go above and beyond will be selected as participation+ members and receive an additional 1 TPE.

Vaseline Podcalzone loves the city of Seattle too much to leave it. Now, the city that would have the best shot of making Podcalzone leave?
Montreal. Yes yes, I can already hear your groans from all the way here. "Montreal? That's probably the most basic expansion city ever!" Although you may be true, bear in mind, however, that Vaseline Podcalzone grew up in the icy climate of Russia. Montreal has a pretty chilly climate as well, and would make Pod feel right at home. Well let's not be silly, there's really nothing that could drag Gunnar away from Chicago if he had a choice. But if he had to go to an expansion team, nothing would be satisfactory but a team at home in Sweden (which I have personally been campaigning for with minimal effort actually put in for many years now). I have several ideas for this - Stockholm Big Boats, Visby Vikings, Luleå Fluffy Sled Dogs, Malmö Marshmallows, etc, but really all that matters is that it is somewhere in Sweden.

Moderators Cozy Connoisseur Code: The SHL world was shocked to see expansion being announced for season 60. Everyone has that one branding that they'd leave their team for, no matter how happy they are there. What is your branding that could rip you away from your home? I have grown attached to the Edmonton team and branding as they are the only SHL team I have ever played for, but if I were to leave for another team I would want to play in a Canadian market and one Canadian city that is not in the league yet would be our nation's capital and the lovely city of Ottawa. For branding wise I am not quite sure it would be but having blue/dark colours would be my cup of tea. For the team logo it could be something related to animals or something that represents Ottawa. Perhaps the Ottawa Warriors? (105 words) Thank you @Stadacona for the Chaewon player sig!

The Toronto North Stars are an amazing group of guys and it's hard to see Ryosuke Sato in another uniform; however, of course when the stars align I think I would jump ship to one of the following 3 teams if they happen in the SHL.
1. Vancouver Whalers (or Vancouver Riot since that was an old SHL team): If the Vancouver Whalers somehow get bumped to the SHL, I would go to them in a heartbeat. I'm imagining the current team of Whalers getting promoted to be an SHL team, or a whole new Vancouver team being made or revisited such as the Vancouver Riot. Being from Vancouver myself and having played and GM the Vancouver Whalers in the SMJHL, wherever there is a Vancouver team I can always see myself playing there. This is 100% a homer decision. The branding could honestly be a stick figure and I'd still go. 2. Guangzhou Dynasty: I really doubt this would be a team but if someone somehow reads my mind and creates this team, I'm jumping ship in a heartbeat. The Guangzhou Dynasty is a team from China that has been an extreme expansion bid in my mind (it has also become the team for my ESPN fantasy and HD). I don't see an SHL team outside of North America anytime soon, but if there is one and it's this one, I will certainly go. Not to mention the branding I have in mind looks sick with red, yellow, and silver (similar to the Kunlun Red Stars of the KHL) and the logo will be a white tiger (since the Dragons are taken). 3. Singapore Merlions: This last team is a team that Jeffie and I though of together. Again, another team that is outside of North America and this one would come along with Jeffie as well which is great! Plus the Merlions, which is the official mascot of Singapore, brings one of the most interesting branding in the league in my opinion. It is a mythical creature with a lion head and fish body. I would also imagine the team sporting red and white jerseys with some accents on it as well.

Look I'm having a blast in Texas, but the second the Besaid Aurochs drop, I'd seriously consider making the jump. It's been a dream of mine for 20 years to play for Besaid.

Not much could drag me away from my beloved Timber or Pride, but I’d ask for a trade in a heartbeat to an expansion team I’ve long dreamed of: the Philadelphia Pickles. Otherwise known as the Phil Pickles. No bread and butter, gherkins, or even Kool-aid pickles here!

FLINT GENERALS! Come back to the hockey rink! We need the Flint Generals to take the spot of the Detroit Falcons, because it’s good for the city of Flint. We need more money for clean water.

although i cannot legally leave seattle as i am their first entry draft selection in franchise history, a proper shl team in my hometown of st louis or a nearby midwest city like kansas city, indianapolis, or nashville would be interesting options if i ever tested free agency.

A team that could tear me away from the Tampa Bay Barracuda is the Fresno Fruit Salads. This California based team capitalizing on the Wiggle's iconic classic hit, "fruit salad". Is a team that is set up for success with families across the world. A clear family friendly team, it would be nice to play for a warm welcoming team like that.

I've been pushing for a team in Mexico City for a while. The last time we expanded, I posted an image for the Mexico City Sun Kings, which has been near and dear to my heart ever since.

Putting a team in Victoria, where a lot of my family currently lives and where I am currently based out of while I work on my undergraduate degree, would force me to make some serious considerations.
