I have a soft spot for cryptids, especially when a team represents them as a fun-loving mascot. I would absolutely love to see something along the lines of the West Virginia Mothmen or the Pensacola Skunk Apes. Adding another team in the Florida region would certainly turn the state from gross cesspool to THE destination for competitive hockey.

However, if it was my turn to leave, then i would have no objection. I know that if i was Picked i will get top line minutes since i will be at almost max tpe for my player and this will be a huge veteran help for the expansion team. This also means I can break my individual records much more easier. In addition, if the expansion is restricted to Canada and USA, i am hoping they include one of the federal territories of Canada in the north as one of the expansion locations. This will be cool since we never had it.

I think the only place that could get me to move from the Manhattan Rage to an expansion team would be if that team was in Pittsburgh. We have no Pennsylvania love in the SHL or juniors even though it is a hot bed for hockey. Put a team there and I could be swayed to move.

So I always used to say Chicago. But now we have a Chicago team and they don't want shit to do with me. So if I had to come up with another team, it would be the Milwaukee Bottlenecks. Cmon SHL make it happen.

Last year I proposed a team in Pittsburgh called the Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets. As far as I know there hasnt been a team in Pennsylvania, so I think it'd be pretty cool to have a team there.

Despite the fact that I'm absolutely loving being a part of the syndicate so far (even though I have yet to play any games with them), I would be willing to jump to almost any Canadian expansion team as well. It would be really cool to see a smaller town get some love. Maybe the Victoria Vipers or the Regina Rebels.

Keeping with North America, and seeing that there isn't enough in the Southwest, I'd like to throw Albuquerque into the mix. New Mexico is commonly considered a hotspot for Extraterrestrial Activity. And whether or not people actually believe Aliens are visiting the earth, there is a great option for a team to take advantage of that for branding. Having an extraterrestrial team would rip me away from the Platoon. My thought is this...

The expansion branding that would rip me away from LA would be something in Mexico to change things up a bit I think. I'll go with the Mexico City Eagles/Águilas. I went with Eagles because of the coat of arms on the Mexican flag (eagle on a cactus devouring a serpent). The coat of arms also ties to the Aztecs since the eagle devouring the serpent signaled to them where to found Tenochtitlan, which is now modern day Mexico City. Mexico City has a large population as well so it would be a good place to grow hockey.

Honestly I have never cared much about branding and would never join a team just for branding purposes. I mean some logos are ugly as heck and I do like pretty much everything my teams here have used, but I just wouldn't ever look at our branding if I was on one of those teams with ugly branding.

Not eager to leave Seattle, itself an expansion team, but if the Tamandaré Tapirs are formed, I'm in.  Tamandaré being a small municipality in the Amazon Rain Forest and tapirs being the greatest animal in the world apart from the noble dog.
