S59 mPT #1 Expansion City

I'd definitely go for a St.Louis expansion team.  It's my hometown and I don't really like the branding of the SMJHL team.  Any branding to do with the rivers here or the city flag colors would have me instantly.

The only thing that would get me even considering leaving Baltimore is the possibility of popularizing the game in a new country. I've been pitching the higher ups for expansion into Korea. Throw a team there and I would start packing my bags.

Being Iorek Byrnison the King of the bears there is only 1 suggestion for a team that makes any sense to me:

The Svalbard Bears

Where else would be as good, it works on so many levels, the lack of a polar bear themed team so far is frankly criminal, the lack of a European based team is also frankly criminal, this just works on so many levels! I expect to this this happen or I will fight everyone

Provided Emilia is already thousands of miles from home, I do not think there is a single team that could take her away from Buffalo, regardless of city. However, I would love for the SHL to go intercontinentally - i.e. add a European or Asian team to the mix. Domestically, one could opt to add Washington, D.C., New York City, or even a midwestern city like Indianapolis are all options for the U.S.

I also think it would be appropriate to split Texas's influence over the largest U.S. state by splitting it to Dallas, Houston, etc. and adding one of the other large cities to the league.

Thanks @Amidships!

It will be difficult to pull me away, but I’ve always been partial to gold and blue colour schemes with a name that embodies something destructive in nature – think Typhoons, Tsunami, Thunder. It doesn’t have to start with a T, those were just the first three I thought of. Using comic sans as the typeface would receive extra points.

If you want to keep it domestic, it’s really a tough call - most of the regions are already covered. I suppose Milwaukee wouldn’t be a bad area to hedge the Chicago/Minnesota rivalry. I’d also enjoy Fargo ND or Sioux City SD.

If there ever was a team in Mexico Tres would feel obligated to leave to be on his national team. Also the food and parties would be great.

There are only a few places that could rip Jimmy Jimmy away from Los Angeles. One of them being Miami. Miami is such a place that would pique Jimmy Jimmy's interest.

You want to take Golden Face from LA? Thats easy move him to Scranton, PA where Michael Scarn lives. He would be glad to follow his Nemesis even if its means playing for the Scranton Stranglers. Lets just up they dont choke in the playoffs.

I like to think I’m a pretty loyal guy. I’ve never tested free agency or asked for a trade before and I hope to keep it that way. Almost nothing would make me consider leaving my team except for, maybe, if we had international team placed in Moscow. To play for my home city would be a dream and while it’s not feasible from a travel perspective, I can still dream.

Andren Akerson (Present)
Adrik Baranov (S55 to S70)
Rurik Razin (S32 to S44)
Roy Razin (S17 to S32) (HOF/Rage HOF)
Audun Wissink (S5 to S15)

Now I'd like to see some really unique city picked like Flagstaff, Arizona or something. Flagstaff and with like firey colors with red, orange, yellow, and black jerseys would be kind of sick. The Flagstaff Firehorns or something i honestly don't know. But Flagstaff Fire-something would really standout in this league of every team deciding to be blue. I really think some color diversity could go a long way so I'm advocating for Flagstaff and please include some cool colors for once.

The two cities I was most interested in going to with this player already have teams. The next most interesting city for me would probably be Nashville. I think it’s a really cool city. The Country Music Hall of Fame is super cool, I highly recommend you check it out if you go to Nashville. Tons of live music, if that is your thing. Seems like a fun place to be, if you don’t mind all the people.

Another great area to add a team to the SHL would be none other then Saint Louis. While many people think St. Louis does not have a great crowd for sports, look no further then if nothing else, the St. Louis Cardinals and how great they have been, with a fan base and all. When the Rams left St. Louis, there was also many angry and upset fans. St. Louis can have great fans if nothing else, if the team stays true and pushes forward to continue to give their fans promise.

For me it would have to be a Wisconsin based team. The Madison Monsters branding was baller growing up. Still need to find that jersey that I had back in grade school. Definitely a 90s look with the color scheme lol

I want to have a team in Grand Rapids Michigan. Exhibit A: It's not detroit, which is taken. Exhibit B: big hockey market in michigan. Exhibit C: fuck chicago and ohio. It will be the Grand Rapids Brewers, because we have a (new) rich history of craft beer and were voted Beer City USA a few times awhile back. Every gas station has a wide selection of all types of beer available. its amazing
