S59 mPT #2 Hockey Cards
#46

It will be the Matt kohlin original rookie card. The key to rare cards is hording them when the player is young and not worth anything. Then half are lost to a trash can somewhere.

I'd assume that some long-time player with a HoF career that primarily played for one team would be the easiest case for having the most valuable card. Maybe like a Mike Izzy for his career with the Dragons, or Kvalheim from the Renegades or Scarn from the Stampede if they continue the course they are on?

A first edition JODAN Carter II will be the rarest card for sure. Luckily I have mine under my mattress. Don't look there though, it's actually hidden tightly between my buttocks

Without a doubt there can be only 1 top card in the SHL Trading Card hierarchy. The rarest and most coveted card will have to be based off of the man, the myth, the legend Cleo Green.

Beyond just the rookie cards for players who later excel in their careers, players that are already retired that have adverse stats like 'most hits of all time' and 'most penalty minutes' will most likely be highly sought over due to the rarity of not only the card, but the player as well.

The Chimkin Wing junior card, remembering when he was still the Magnificent Tendy that won the Four-Star Cup with Anchorage and pulled off a shutout in his SHL debut game as a temporary callup for Buffalo in the same season 57, if I remember correctly Smile

After 69 shots on net with still no SHL goals to show for it, even the opposition started to feel so sorry for Lemo, that they decided to help him out :D
- Bad pass by Jack Klompus, he gave it right to Lemo Pihl.
- Lemo Pihl rips it to the net...
- Lemo Pihl will find the empty net, that should do it!

I believe my own player, Abel Skinner, will be the ultimate rare card.  Not because he is so valuable, but because everyone just throws his card away as worthless so that there becomes an extremely limited supply still in circulation.

Different people come to mind but one is definitely Harry Carpet, legendary first 2k+ TPE goalie in the SHL who hasn't done anything else special (yet) but that TPE number alone is a unique achievement nobody is going to take away from him.

Double Holo, off centered, early print, isspelled and upside down card for the Big Parm Arenananana. Just a priceless piece of delicious history. Maybe the rookie card for the zamboni driver, that guy works harder than everyone else.

The card that I am going to be looking for right off the bat is the Mat Smith rookie card, I feel like he will be one of the best goalies for a long time so I want to get one before they become unobtainable

There is no doubt in my mind that the SHL player who will have the rarest (and, might I add, coolest) trading card a few decades from now will be Narboza Manyhands. I mean, come on. He is universally beloved (and when I say universally, I mean it) for his play on the ice and his incredible personality off the ice.

I mean, if we're talking super rare hockey cards, it would have to be a rookie edition Elizabeth Doyle, or a Karl Krashwagen. Honestly, I don't even think Magnus Liljestrom's card will be that desirable, as he is a scrub defender.

I really want a Joe Kurczewski San Francisco Pride card. He was traded to SFP toward the end of his last season and never actually played a game. I think it'd be hilarious. Bonus points if it's marked "Authentic" with a picture of him sitting in the press box.

When it comes to rarity and value, we need to choose a player from the past since they are ancient and harder to acquire just like a base set hollowless charizard. In that case, I believe Ron Mexico would be the player that will be equally as valuable. The legend created history in his short tenure and was as explosive as charizard.
