S59 mPT #2 Hockey Cards

Michael Haan will be the charizard of the trading cards, not because he is the best player. Not by a longshot. The player is so hated that he is usually torn up by the kids whenever they pack it. In the end, there will be only one Haan card left and that is the one @Bayley pulled himself.

So its not insane value because everyone wants it, but just because there will only be one left.

Former players:
Ivo Willems (S9 SMJHL) (S10-28 SHL)
Xander Green  (S33-35 SMJHL) (S36-47 SHL)
Vorian Atreides (S49-51 SMJHL) (S52-61 SHL)

Ludwig Koch Schroder.

As being one of the greatest defenseman all time in SHL history it would only seem natural that he would be given the elite status of one of the many pokemon cards considering how much the other pale in comparison to his sheer career greatness.

Eko Van Nutter will be the first holographic translucent border 3 dimensional meme card. It's a serie where you take popular players and change their name as part of a prang. You add their stats but instead of tracking coals it tracks how many KEKW were applied on his discord comments. It will also feature an animal instead of an humanoid.

1st edition shiny Charizard!? I can't say I've had the chance to really dive in to what's going on with the cards, but if it's anything like regular hockey cards those 1st year rookie cards are where it's at. That being said the last few groups of Jesster nominees (and winners) could be something special. Looking at you Rotticus Scott, Theo Kondos and Yngve Simonsson.

I think the super rare cards will likely be the really old players, but since most members won't remember players from the early years of the league you'd have to pick one that has a trophy named after them, like Ron Mexico, or maybe a funnier one like Turd Fergusson. Or maybe it'll be Eko Van Otter because people find the card with an otter face on it funny.

We've got the Mike Izzy rookie card, holographic. This man would go on to being synonymous with the Calgary Dragons franchise, and would be the all time SHL leader in hits.

RIP Dangel. See you on the other side, brother

There’s no way that there’s any player other than the one the only, SLATT Potts with the rarest first edition in the league. He gets the most moist panties, post-game so it’s only right.

The best rookie card that will be a super rare printing will be the Maine Timber's Honk&Chonk duo card. It features Duncan the Walrus, and Puddles O Duck working as a team. Not only will it feature Rookie of the Year Duncan, but since it will be a "Duo" card it will be equivalent to a foil Charzard. Rare, beautiful, and obviously powerful. Every kid will want the Walrus Duck combo, and will force their parents to go pay the ridiculous price for this card. You know the business card scene from American Psycho? its gonna be like that, but they will be gawking over the HONK&CHONK.

*Karl Krashwagon holds up his own card.

Krash: Raised lettering, pale nimbus white...

Sean Gatez (choking with anxiety): Impressive. Very nice. Let's see the Honk&Chonk card.

Krash pulls a card from an inside coat pocket and holds it up for their inspection: "Honk&Chonk Maine Timber Defensive Duo." Gatez swallows, speechless. The sound in the room dies down and all we hear is a faint heartbeat as Gatez stares at the magnificent card.

Gatez (V.O.): Look at that subtle green and brown coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has an axe watermark...

*His hand shaking, Gatez lifts up the card and stares at it
until it fills the screen. He lets it fall. The sound returns to normal.

Pretty intersting, but weird mini point task at the same time, because not all people are following what's going on with Pokemon cards. And I'm one of these people who don't follow them. I would say that some of new players have that chance to have most valuable card.

There are plenty active new players who are good and might hit 2K TPE club. It will help to get up value of these cards. Hard to say which one will have it, but probably some old user who is well known.

A special edition Esa Anrikannen card with him holding a stick in one hand and a chicken parm in the other. He is legendary for both hockey and eating parms, make it a limited edition with the parm copy limited in number.

One of the rarest of all cards will be the limited print, special edition Honk and Chonk card. It features the made in heaven pairing of Puddles O'Duck and Duncan the Walrus. Not many cards will feature 2 players, or a line pairing, and even less will be able to capture the true magnificence that is these two on the ice.

The Sven Svenson card previewed in the original announcement will be one of the most valuable SHL cards because of how meaningful it is to the historical moment.

The Evgeni Petrov arrest card will be the hottest card in the market when it comes out! Granted Evgeni would never be arrested, he now has hunting permit for his activities! Card will be famous because picture on card will feature Evgeni in full goalie gear running from police while having deer over shoulders, great fun!

If SHL trading cards go into past seasons, I'd have to think that the Elizabeth Doyle rookie card will be the equivalent of a shadowless Charizard. She had large shoes to fill coming in as a rookie - especially provided Buffalo has been ultra-mega competitive for the last several seasons in a ridiculously stacked Great Lakes division - and slotted in seamlessly. She's transitioned very easily from unassuming rookie on a great team to one of the league's very best netminders, and anyone who has a card showing that they were 'in the game' before Doyle got her skates under her would have a lot of clout.

Thanks @Amidships!

Obviously one of the most sought after cards is and will forever be the Christoph Klose rookie card. A star in the SHL and the VHL, Klose was a dominant scorer, a powerful checker, and a winner of multiple individual awards. His Minnesota autographed jersey swatch card was recently sent into PSA for grading and is expected to sell for 6 figures in auction.
