Mew Two's day off is a special day for Mew Two. He flies out of Quebec, to his home province of Kanto. He is even more famous there than he is in Quebec, so he has to wear a baggy coat, a hat, and some shades around the region in order to not get mobbed by fans. Mew Two's home is in a cave near Cerulean Town, called Cerulean Cave. In the video games made about his adventures, it looks like Mew Two just stands on a rock, waiting for people to battle him. This is a fabrication and he only does that to please tourists. He has a door to his actual house behind one of the rocks, and his pad is fully tricked out. Huge TV, great sound system, comfy bed, stocked freezer. This off-day, Mew Two's brother/clone Mew is teleporting in and the pair plan to game the entire day.
Golden Face likes to take his days off very casual and stress free. He’s just going to sit in his office all day and think about ways to cause havoc on Michael Scarn until he forgives him for killing his wife. It starts with blowing up all star games and then switches to stuff like taking the batteries out of his remotes or calling him and letting him know that his extended warranty has expired. Once hes all done with that he eats his healthy gold based snacks that keep his face nice and shiny and then hes going to play some games and listen to music. His favorite games are anything that has come free with an Xbox live Gold membership and he loves Ska music with his favorite band being Goldfinger. At the end of the night hes going to head off to bed watching his favorite show of all time… Golden Girls! I love you Betty White.
Aaron Wilson and the Hamilton Steelhawks have played a lot of postseason hockey over the last few seasons and that means short offseasons and not many days off, and during the regular season we often do something hockey-related on days when we don't have a game, like practice or just going over our tactics or watching game film. So it is nice to have an occasional day off. On his days off Aaron Wilson tries to relax and not think about hockey or the upcoming games and whatnot, he usually wakes up way later than he normally does and kind of just does nothing in particular all day. Wilson is not a big gamer but he does play video games sometimes, like recently he has been playing RDR2 and trying to get 100% completion which is going to take maybe years. Other things he likes to do on days off is binge watching some tv shows or random youtube videos. Also lots of junk food on these days because of course he has to keep a strict diet in order to stay in game shape but sometimes it's just nice to eat whatever you want.
JURT loves to spend his free time playing an underground hockey game on his PS4 called NHL. Although it's a game comprised only of fake players that do not exist in the SHL, the creators of the game really put a lot of effort into constructing various teams with a deep lore and historical features, to make a very real-looking league. Some of the players have impossible names, like Radek Bonk or Miroslav Satan, but it's part of the fun.
There are many interesting game modes. JURT enjoys the Be a Pro mode because it lets him play whatever position he feels like and he can progress into one of these fake organisations (his favorite is the Las Vegas Golden Knights, such a ridiculous name and a weird place to put a hockey team). His favorite thing tho is to recreate everyone of his friends and opponents in the game and have these computer-generated versions of them play each other.

Okay so this was a fun day off. Merica JR. And Hagan got into a wicked argument about who can eat the most tamales and so, of course, being the competitive lot that the Anaheim Outlaws are, a challenge was issued. To make the challenge interesting, the entire team shuttled to Disneyland, a common off-day excursion for many of the Outlaws, and the challenge was engaged inside the park. Merica took an early lead by firing 18 tamales down his gullet in the time it took to get through the "Its a Small World" ride but he slowed down on the teacup ride and Hagan took the lead by chomping 28 on the whirly wonder ride.
The day took an unfortunate shortening when we were all asked to leave the park after rookie goalie Zhen Roza made a horrible error in judgement by scarfing three Goofy shakes before he went head to head with Merica on Space Mountain. Let's just say it ended in Roza with a mop and bucket and the Outlaws earning a 72 hour ban from the park. Oh well. We can go back next week and resolve the competition.
On his off day Dane von Gucci takes part in normal activities that any Tirolean would engage in. After waking up he eats a hearty breakfast of many different breads, ham, and traditional Austrian sausages. Surprisingly easy to procure in St. Louis, Missouri. After that, Dane proceeds to go to hang out by his pool to catch some rays while drinking a nice radler. St. Louis is a surprisingly affordable place and after landing a phat SHL contract, von Gucci was able to buy a very nice property that he can enjoy with his dog and the many friendly women of the Show Me State. After an action packed day of drinking in traditional Tirolean fashion, von Gucci fires up his air fryer and pounds out a pork schnitzel that he serves himself with an egg and fresh salad. Before eating, he takes a shot of Krautinger, a traditional turnip schnaps that will help with digestion. Sits on the couch and drinks another few beers watching his league competition on TV before trudging upstairs, refreshed, buzzed, and ready to get back to playing hockey.
At the end of 6 consecutive days of hard-hitting hockey James Kimanje is absolutely smashed. His body is exhausted, his mental state is usually subpar to just rough depending on how the games have gone, and he needs a break. Thankfully, he has a nice setup after each game to renew himself as much as possible, and each Sunday, he has a specific gameplan. Sunday is his cheat day from his workout diet, and so every Sunday James will watch football while eating a healthy breakfast. He'll nap in the afternoon and then go to a local joint with some bomb-ass burgers and have a beer while watching the end of the afternoon slate. He then travels back to his pad and plays Apex Legends for a couple hours, then has 30 minutes of meditation and hits the hay to wake up early for the first game of the week on Monday. He does this exact routine on road trips as well as much as possible, although frequently watches shows such as Criminal Minds or Survivor instead of playing Apex due to not being able to bring his gaming PC with him.

After working extremely hard every day for months on end it is actually pretty tough to wind down for a day off. With Baltimore being such a big city there are tons of things to go do, but Baltimore is only an hour drive from Washington D.C. Patrick spent his day off in Washington D.C. taking in the various sights of our nations capitol with some of his teammates. With the different nationalities on the team it was very interesting to hear everyone's perspective on the different monuments and they nations history and capital as a whole. Overall it was a pretty great day our with the boys and it was much better than wandering around Baltimore worried that you might murdered or stabbed. Days off are always kind of weird because most players in this league are such workaholics that taking any down time is tough, but it is extremely necessary to both physical and mental health.
Well there are a lot of ways I like to spend my days off and most of them involve me not really taking a day off ever. While I would love to relax there is a lot to always do so I am running all over on our off days. My main thing I like to do is continue competing in Rink of Honor wrestling where I am the current powerplay briefcase holder after beating down Joe in a ladder match very easily. Also team up and are a former tag team champion there as I am always looking to up my team work for every aspect of my life rather it be in hockey or wrestling. If there are no planned matches on my days off then I will continue to work out and train as switching to a defender is a big learning curve and I still need a lot of work to be elite at the position going forward.
When ASM is not training or playing games with Vancouver, he likes to take a slower pace with his days off. Living in a rather beautiful area, he likes to take long walks on the trails and pathways of western canada. He’s part of a regular walking group and finds serenity and peace when he walks along the banks of the fraser river. It helps him clear his mind and prepare for a new week of games so that no matter how bad the result, he can always bounce back strong and keep going.
He also likes finding trendy restaurants and trying foods from cultures and countries he has never been to before. His travel philosophy is that if he is going to a new place, he doesn’t want to be dragged to museum’s or art galleries, he wants to find interesting restaurants and try things in new ways. Food is a critical part of culture after all

Wow, six straight days of grinding on the ice. Normally this kind of thing wouldn't bother me so much, but it's Springtime in Anaheim and the weather is nice and the feelings right. I'm going to take some time to sleep in on my day off - give the body an ample opportunity to rest and recover. Then I'm going to go out to my favorite breakfast haunt, Outlaw Burrito, to get myself the most delicious breakfast burrito around. Then I need to take yet another nap to sleep off all those carbs. I'll flip on SHL Network while I sleep to keep up on the league and hear what my friends around the league are up to. After I wake up, I look at the clock and realize it's Midnight! I slept all day on my day off. Wouldn't have spent it any other way. That was a very nice day off.

If I did get a day off, I’d probably want to do some cooking, maybe go around the city and do some sight seeing, maybe go shopping, enjoy some time outside with friends and family and just try to take advantage of the day the most I could. If you notice though, I started that sentence off with “want” and not “will”. The reason being, I know myself and what will end up happening is I’ll end up waking up at around noon. Then once everyone is already enjoying their day I’ll be all groggy trying to get out of bed, have myself some lunch and then try to figure out a plan.
The likely outcome is I’ll end up sitting on my couch and playing video games for a few hours. This will lead to me getting bored, trying to figure out what in the world I’m going to do and then not being able to make plans because it’s already getting late and I have to be prepared for the next day when I get back to my training/hockey routine. There are things I’d want to do, but the day would probably end up being a lazy day of nothing.

On my days off, I just jam even more hockey into the day. If anyone else is playing on that day (aka it's not a league-wide off day), I scout those teams to prepare for my future career as a youth hockey coach a la Gordon Bombay (including his original "distraction" of becoming a lawyer and a group of plucky and uncoordinated kids that somehow become great virtually overnight). I'd go scout actual youth hockey games instead but I've been banned from all of those for encouraging fighting and biting amongst the impressionable youths. At other times, I drop by the local ice rink and work on some of my important skills like checking and slapshots. Occasionally these events are even with others that are willing to participate instead of just random bystanders! I also play a lot of very old versions of SHL hockey videogames to relive my own glory days instead of my current situation of trailing off into retirement while feeling every single dang pain in my joints and rear end. Anyways, long story short I can't get enough of hockey right now and planning on keeping it a part of my life after my career is over as well.
