[Name Redacted] normally starts his day off watching the F1 race, if any that week. He then makes himself an artery-clogging brunch with all sorts of delicious breakfast meats and eggs and whatnot, and has no fewer than 3 energy drinks. Following this he does a hyper speed workout to make sure all his bacon goes to the good place. He then sits down to play video games for many hours. His favorite game is called "Cyberbullying Nerds on Twitch" but lately he has been playing the new Pokemon Snap instead. As he plays his game of choice, he ponders life and wonders about how far hockey will take him. Sure it has gotten him pretty far, and he has the better part of a career ahead of him, but it scares to think about what lies beyond. The existential dread gets to him, so he decides to burn it off by going out and doing skateboard tricks while listening to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack for a while. Then he goes to bed.

Welcome to another interview with the Knightly News today we are taking a look at what an "Off Day" looks like for Roboute Guilliman. Roboute likes to spend his day off playing with plastic army men. Or at least that's what it looks like. It took him explaining to us in detail what exactly he was doing for us to understand. Roboute Guilliman plays tabletop wargames. He uses miniatures that have rules and weapons to fight against his opponent in trying to kill them or take objectives on the field that score him points. It was quite interesting to see him play but also to see him spend the time to paint and glue together more models for his army. It was something quite unexpected from someone such as Roboute. But it seems to keep him calm and allow him to escape from the world for a bit. His father was the one that first got him into the game and hobby and he has since taken it to be his own. He said pretty soon here he might try to get some of his teammates into the game in hopes that he might have more people to play with.

I think it is pretty obvious to everyone here that there's really only one thing to do on your rarely given day off from hockey, and that's sleeping all day long. While some may not find it appealing, sleep is the best thing for your body: it allows it to heal itself without worrying about aggravating another injury, and it lets you feel refreshed, repaired, and ready to go the next time you have to go out and play some hockey. It also allows you to escape from the cripplingly depressing reality that is the one we live in, of course, and who doesn't like doing that? That's right, nobody. Of course, you could be one of the weirdoes and choose to actually exercise and work your body out more on the day off, but really, who wants to do that? We all know that sitting on your ass all day is the best thing to do on a day off.

There are a few things that Jimmy Jimmy would do on his day off. After a long stretch of games, Jimmy would normally take an ice bath and relax to get his mind straight along with his body. The most important thing to Jimmy is making sure his mind is up to par with his body. Without his mind, his body is nothing. It's his mind that helps him make smart plays and know what to do on the ice. Now, if you're talking about a long stretch of days off that's a different story. What Jimmy would do is that he'd go out and drink a few beers and kick it back to have fun. He wants to not only have fun but, also wants to make sure that he isn't stressed out. If he gets stressed out, he starts to make mistakes which can't happen

I would spend my day off playing Minecraft with my gud pals @Gooney, @nour, @Waters, @Rotti and maybe Gabe. he doesn't really deserves a tag right now but there is something peaceful about mining all the long or just griefing someones house like @HanTheMan_ on purpose. It is just a fun time with the boys at the end of the day. we are all in different teams and leagues right now so its a good way to connect and just have some fun. I know it might not be interesting or exciting but sometimes a peaceful day like this is good to reset your energy and be prepared for the next playoff series to next game so we can give an A+ performance and make sure Hamilton remains one of the best teams in the league for the foreseeable future as we want to be a team that can win challenge cups every season and maybe go down as one of the best teams in shl history.

Day off? But it's calving season and if I'm not getting up for practice in the wee hours of the morning, then on my so called "day off" I'm up just as early but out in the fields pulling bloody calves out of a pissed of momma cow. It's not pleasant work but if weren't out there making sure these cows weren't trying to come out ass first, it could lead to a lot of dead momma cows and those babys are our money makers on the farm. So while everyone else is out there sleeping in, golfing or doing only god knows what else, I'll be putting my coffee cup in a pile of cow pie to keep it warm and getting my arms deep in some cow uterus if necessary. Life on the farm is messy, dirty work and there rarely are days off but somebody has to do it.

After a hard and tiring road trip of four cities in six days, Aleks Blixtstrom is going to spend times in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Aleks was born and raised in the cold, tall mountains of northern Sweden. He absolutely loves the mountains, and they're his 2nd favorite place to be, after the hockey rink, of course. Aleks is excited for when he gets called up to the Los Angeles Panthers and is a lot closer to the mountains in the west, which are a lot more similar to the Swedish mountains than the glorified hills known as the Appalachian Mountains. Anyways, Aleks would go up to the cabin in the woods he rented in the mountains. He would chop wood for the fire and his sauna, while also getting strength exercise in. He would relax and recover from a tough stretch of playing hockey on the road. He absolutely feels at home in the mountains, and is able to recover from just being there than doing anything else. Ice baths aren't cold enough for him.

RESO: Oh, those free days. With the house as busy as it is with a baseball friend of mine joining me and Emeka in the Aspen Chalet, I have to find something to do. And because I suggested to Emeka to do some D&D, I decided to take one of his advice and try some competitive gaming myself at one of the local arcades in the City. Of course, of all the games I picked, it had to be Tekken, and to that extent I picked King because his combos look so stylish. Well, when I joined that scene, I had no idea how screwed I was. Now, I was never a bad fighter, I could easily convert some high level combos and mix up some tactics, but these guys in the arcades..........my word. I have never gotten rinsed as hard as I did in my life, not even in the blowout games that I've been on in the rink. The huge varience in the combos, how they start it, just so much going on that I had no chance against. Maybe I should put my free time to this just so that I can have bragging rights. And also so that Emeka doesn't have his smug face all the time.

If I had a day off from hockey, you would find me on the golf course. This isn't a surprise for those who know me. Honestly, if it wasn't for hockey I'd be on the links 24/7 and it's arguably more enjoyable. Nothing beats a sunny day, couple cold ones, the boys, some good tunes and screaming at the ball, yourself, and anything else to blame for your poor shots. There's nothing quite like looking up and admiring the flight and arc of your putter as it soars into the lake after a three whack. One of my favourite parts of golfing is when it gets real serious, you focus up and really hit the gas to ensure that your buddy's golf cart doesn't pass you on the upcoming turn. The only thing better than playing golf is spending the next seven hours on the patio sucking back beers and then crawling your way into an uber.

when you have been in the league for as long as i have your free day is really important... us old vets need a nice day of rest and relaxation. our bodies dont work as well as they once did, we are constantly sore, that click in whatever joint is only getting worse, without our day off we would be broken and useless. throughout all of that i am one of the guys that puts it all to the side and lays my body on the line every night, pushing it physically and trying my very best to still be a workhorse out on the ice. that day of rest has become extra special to me because of it. my couch has become my very best friend on sundays. ill usually throw on the SHL network, watching highlights of that weeks games for most of the day. order some food for delivery, maybe jump in the hot tub for a bit if im really feelin it that week. the night usually ends with a good movie... if i can stay awake through the whole thing.

The day off from hockey is spent relaxing with some video games. Of course, by relaxing I mean playing Monster Hunter and by playing I mean researching reddit for hours looking for the meta strategies. By the time the actual playing comes around, it's more like trying to pull off the moves from the videos and getting absolutely train stomped by the simplest monsters. But the endless grind for materials and frustrating mistakes three carting you in minutes is by all means "relaxing".
Then of course, the eighth day of the week is the vacation from my vacation. On this day, we sit around by the grill, grilling dogs, drinking bud light limes, discussing the monster hunter meta strategies and the most impressive totally on purpose sick maneuvers we pulled off during the "vacation" day. It also means putting off all the chores you have to do for the week until an hour before you want to be in bed, so you're up late and chasing sleep the whole week. Lather, rinse for 20 seconds, repeat.

The Zerkers are one of the best teams in the league this season so they don't spend their off days practicing for the next day's games. Instead, they can be found wandering the numerous facilities that the Newfoundland-based organization provides its player personnel and staff team. Juke and Ty can be found in the gaming den, playing league of legends like their lives depend on it, always ending with Ty letting out a loud "sad" as they take the L. Elsewhere, a large collection of Zerkers can be found in the Vegas-style sports betting studio that houses more than 20 televisions, broadcasting any sort of entertainment that can be gambled on for the Zerker's pleasure. Somewhere in that room, the flames fans are crying that their strategy of stealing all of the 2019-2020 Canuck UFAs did not work out and that they are heading towards a missed playoff run once again.

If I had a bye week I would invite all my Junior buddies from Newfoundland over to my bacjelor pad In Malibu for a pool party. I got a sick inifiniti pool that overlooks the ocean and the coast line. Jonas Kahnwald and Vaseline Podcalzone would be chillin with all the hunnies in the pool. Liam Slate though keeps wanting to borrow my laptop so he can play league of legends. I don't know what his obsession is but I'd probably find him hiding in my closet eating a bowl of mac and cheese with hot dogs while feeding the enemy ADC. Jukka Timonen and Corey Kennedy would be passed out in the lawn chairs by noon after taking 10 shots in 20 minutes. Our resident DJ Martin Westbroek would have the party vibing for everyone. That's how I would spend my week off from the game. Coming from the frozen land of Newfoundland, most of these guys ain't experienced the sunny beaches of California.
