Steve Harrington Applies for Anaheim Co-GM

![]() Donators ahoy ladies Anaheim Co-GM candidate Steve Harrington doing finger guns because that's what outlaws do Steve Harrington, long time ambassador for the Newfoundland Berserker, has reportedly cut ties with his former SMJHL organization recently over what has been described as "creative differences". He says the split has allowed him to explore new opportunities that weren't open to him while he was wrapped up in Newfoundland. One of his long term goals was to move into a management position in the league. He reportedly has no plans to leave his current SHL team in Buffalo despite recent rumors of a coup, which limited his management opportunities to the junior leagues. The Anaheim Outlaws technically are rivals of his former team, both of them coming into the league in the first expansion in a very long time. However there was never any serious rivalry during Harrington's tenure, and he has told reporters there is no bad blood between him and the Outlaws so he is excited to apply for this opportunity to manage them. Harrington has been outspoken in the past about his disdain for other teams in the league such as the Carolina Kraken and the Maine Timber. "As long as I live I would never work with a loser like Chris Conner, or a snake like Klompus," said Harrington when asked about his plans for the future in an interview from earlier in his career. Klompus claimed he had no idea that Harrington had taken his departure so hard and had assumed they were still friends. When asked for comment on the move, former teammate and current Newfoundland manager Ryuuji "ham" Minamino said the following: "I will not comment on unfounded rumors. Steve Harrington has been and continues to be a cherished Berserker." Current co-gm Jukka "diversity hire" Timonen responded to rumors as well, simply saying "Who?". On management's comments, Harrington says "This is exactly why I left. Neither ham or Juke know what is happening with their team anymore and the whole thing is falling apart. They are more concerned with recruiting new cereal brands to join the team than winning cups and glory. This isn't the team I was drafted to and its Corey Kennedy's fault." The Newfoundland Berserkers had enjoyed a period of progress since Harrington was drafted to the team in Season 52. This culminated in their Season 55 Four Star Cup win during Harrington's last season in Newfoundland and only as Co-Captain with Minamino. Many attribute the lack of cup success since with a curse placed on the team by former Co-GM Corey Kennedy. Kennedy could not be reached for comment. Anaheim's head general manager Ace was asked about Harrington's application and whether he was being considered. Unfortunately he just laughed and told us, “No comment on the candidates involved in the interview process.” ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Donators ahoy ladies
