Joe Burrow, say that name a few times in your head. What comes to mind? Perhaps its the Former LSU Quarterback and Heisman Trophy Winner that later became the 1st overall pick, perhaps it is a terrible knee injury, hell it could even be the terrible Pro Baseball Experience catcher that plays for the Detroit Demons. I will tell you what will soon come to mind, the Hockey player, Joe Burrow. That's right, Joe Burrow is now a three sport athlete, it just so happens to be that they are all three completely different Joe Burrow’s that are not related in anyway whatsoever. Joe is eligible for the Season 61 Simulation Hockey League draft. Because he is in the shadows of a few other Joe Burrow’s he and his agency have decided to release a detailed scouting report on him and a background check for some SHL GMs who may have him in the corner of their eye for this draft.
Player Name: Joe Burow Player Age: 17 years of age Player Height: 6’0” Player Weight: 203 pounds
Detailed Player Scouting Report: Joe Burrow is a 17 year old forward who is currently playing for the Quebec City Citadelles. Joe Burrow stands 6 feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. Joe’s Primary position is Center however he has shown success at Left Wing through 8 games with the Cittadelels. Joe Burrow seems to be a pass first forward who will tally a good number of assists and will always look for an open player who he can dish the puck to. Burrow’s lack of Height makes him much more of an offensive asset than a defensive one. Burrow is not extremely aggressive, he can get a bit scared at times which is part of the he looks to pass as much as he does. Joe Burrow does not have extraordinary success shooting but that is something he has shown potential in improving with more experience and more ice time. If you look at Burrow’s statistics through his first 8 games prove the point of being much more of a pass first player, he has 5 points, 4 assists and a goal through these games however his line has not been as well performing, a -5 +/- is not great by any means, this raises concern for Burrow’s defensive ability and how he will perform as a possible two way player. Burrow’s lack of physicality is another concern for him. How active will he be chasing a loose puck on a breakaway, will he be able to cancel out an icing call, will he turn the puck over trying to shy away from contact? That is unknown but Burrow has shown improvement in this categories, he has hit the weight room and adjusted his diet in hopes of making him stronger and faster. Burrow has tremendous upside and untapped potential. Key areas where Burrow is likely to improve on are, his puck handling and placement on the ice, his aggressiveness on the ice will also likely increase as he beings to find more and more comfort with his new team and his new system. Overall the ceiling is very high for Burrow on the ice. He has lots of potential and the future is very bright for this kid.
Okay so now that I got that out of the way I figured I should introduce myself as a user in this league. Hello SHL! I am LSUFAN101 but most people who talk to me in sim leagues call me Burrow so feel free to call me that too! I have been in simulation sports leagues for a little over a year now. I started in a league called the NSFA, National Simulation Football Association, I was the GM of the New Orleans Cardinals for a season and ended up winning General Manager of the year over there in Season one! Sadly the league shutdown due to, well, a lot of things that I will not get into. After it shut down it merged with the SCFSL, I took over as an expansion GM there of the Reykjavik Bears and it was a great time and a great learning experience. I was only the GM for 3 seasons because I had to step down due to some IRL things that came up but I really enjoyed my time as a General Manager. In July last year I joined the PBE which has become my mian league. I have been fortunate to become a pretty decently known user over there so if you recognize my username that could be why. I was drafted by the Wheelers there in the minors draft and then I was drafted in the 2nd round of the majors draft by the Demons! Shout out to Tardis and Joe who I believe are both in this league! I have been a max earner there since I was drafted in the majors draft and I have had a blast over there! Some also may know me from the ISFL, I am a Kicker over there for the Arizona Outlaws, shoutout to Zwhiz, Zeagle, Hotdog, Dankoa, and H0PPY who are all in this league and I probably am forgetting some lol. I was drafted in the second round over there and won the season 28 Kicker of the Year award with the Pythons. So some of you may be thinking, why did you join the SHL? Well I had heard about it for a while but the truth is I know absolutely nothing about the sport. I know what a goal is, I know the positions, and I know some of the terms like Powerplay, points, etc… but thats about it. I was listening to the commissioners podcast from Saturday, it was a great show btw, and decided I wanted to give the SHL a go! So far I have made the right decision as I have had an absolute blast here so far! I signed with the Citadelles and have met a lot of awesome people over there in the locker room. I am excited for the next few seasons, I am excited to compete for a championship, and I am excited to be drafted in the SHL one day!

"Bring back Pingy Pingu Lunga Gumba esq. And I mean bring him all the way back. I want every thread on this forum that involves even a modicum of salt to get razed to the ground by our most notorious shitposting penguin. I want every thunderdome to drown in ABAGABA spam and a signature that doesn't end. I want the userbase of this fine league to cower in terror, slinking about the forums and making as little noise as possible for fear of attracting the Shitpost Slenderman. When some poor immigrant from the NFL sim blunders into the forum and makes an angry post about how his player slipped to the early second round despite having done ALL the rookie tasks(!), let the veteran survivalists stare in horror and pity while the newbie rages. They will know it is only a matter of time before @Pingy Pingu descends upon his post like a ravening wolf and obliterates his tread, reducing it to a radioactive waste-dump of unintelligible spam. They will not interfere, for Pingy is our immune system. Because he can take it. Our Dark Knight of Shitposting"
