s60 mPT #4: Feedback

I love the drafts. The graphics, discussion, and overall hype. I have only been here for 2 drafts so far, but they are amazing, and the production and effort put into them is so great.
I think money is the thing I do not like most. Not the idea of money but the curve of it. As a rookie it was easy to get more than enough money but then after the SHL draft you must figure out how to establish yourself and earn. I think it would help keep people around if there were more structured earning opportunities like rookie tasks but for each season. Does not have to be a ton of money but having some buffer room while you figure your shit out helps.

Hey to be honest i love the new pts of this season so props to you slash!
a part i would change is the great lakes division it's busted... In my opinion a league system which get's reranked after a season would be better (just like the iihf). I know some folks think we wanna be nhl look alikes but that's literarely dumb... we should decide to do what is best for the league and best for the league is a fair league which allows the bad teams to draft high and the good teams to play in the playoffs and not just bevcause a division is so bad a middle team get's a spot in the playoff to get swept by a high tpe team which was in an insanely tough division and finished lower in standings then a middle class team...

Thank you @Carpy48, @honkerrs

One thing I like here - site format. It is easy to dumbass noob like me to understand system. One thing I hate - way how you earn money here. You need to work here like you work for real money, because writing stuff takes time and nobody really cares, if you stay or leave this game forever.

Not gonna thank anyone

I love many things about this site, the index, the multitude of users who dedicate more time than necessary to keep this site running and media to describe aspects of the leagues and their players.

One thing I would like to see changed is a better focus on the IIHF and WJC during the tournaments. Make them more of a show!

I am so happy with the changes to the draft streams; 7 has done an amazing job organizing it and getting things sorted out. I can't praise the changes enough.

In terms of changing something; I always thought the early player experience could use a facelift. Catch up TPE had good intentions, but I feel like a full overhaul on how first year earning works could be helpful to get everyone on an equal footing.

I like the new site calendar. For me - a brutally lazy person on this site who likes that I can use discord to follow my players' and teams' success. Also this calendar helps me to follow the PT deadlines when they are written "end of the season"/ "start of the season".

Thank fucking god that this site is not jcink, congrats transfer team or whoever. Maybe the layout is a bit confusing, idk there isn't much terrible about it

This league is pretty great. So many leagues are trying to copy the banking system we have here. The only thing that hurts the experience is that some things are very hard to find on the site. There is no immediately visible path to some information such as the player analyze sheet that is essentially the TPE tracker that other leagues have.

I really like this site's look. It looks very professional and it is very appealing to the eyes every time that I open this website. With that, the stream team (if that is a thing) does a wonderful job of making great draft day content, and it is very original and again eye appealing.

I love the index the most on this forum. Because I like that it is all very clear and transparent. You can see both the league leaders and the team's player statistics. The only thing missing from these statistics is the centers faceoff percentage. I would also like to see a separate statistics table for the centers so you can see who is the league leader in terms of faceoff.

The one thing I really love about this site is the new index. Most of my comparisons over here come from the ISFL and the index is one of the things I would love if the ISFL could steal. It's perfect in any way. It's well developed, it looks beautiful and it runs well. Also it is made to work on mobile more or less and they add new features to it, so big fat props to anyone who worked on it, from a developers perspective it is done really well.

One thing that I would love if it would see an update and that is done better is the TPE tracker. That is one thing that the ISFL has done much better and that I would love to see implemented here as well. It's great to see the graph etc for the players to see if they have been earning etc and to search for specific players/users.

I think one of the best parts about this site is the Awards committee, no bias there at all,

I think one of the things that needs improvement is @jeffie43 's smell tbh

Thanks Wasty, Carpy, JSS, TurdFerguson, Geekusoid and Awesomecakes for the sigs!

I really enjoy the automatic banking thing, that is definitely a cool feature. I think that it is the only league that does it that way, so kudos. Great stuff.

I really like the new index, and the leaders section getting added makes it feel basically complete.

However, I will say the media system needs work, media gets fairly dull and formulaic over time, getting kinda lame to read.

The banking system in place on this site is fantastic: straightforward, easy to use, extremely efficient, and good at catching mistakes. However, updating on a forum (both for players and updaters) is a slog to say the least. My big pipe dream is to one day see the SHL with an updating system like the SBA's. It would take a lot of pressure off the updaters and also greatly decrease the learning curve for new players.
