He's been alright. Very frustrating to watch him at times because he loves to stick handle into corners or into a group of three players. Over handles the puck too much. He misses the net often with his shots as well. I've also noticed that he moves very slow for the most part when he gets the puck. He'd be a lot better IMO if he didn't try to slow the game down.

The good things I've noticed are that he looks very strong. He protects the puck well with his body and is hard to knock it off of (unless he over handles it) and his playmaking ability is still good. I have also noticed he has been good defensively, or at least works hard in the defensive zone.

But like I said, overall he has been decent. I'm not gonna lie that I expected more. Most people are saying he looks meh because of the injury last season. I don't think that's the case. I've also had the opportunity to watch Morgan Rielly play by purchasing a few of his games for streaming. The few games I saw of him I was blown away. The last game I saw him play in he got 5 assists. He's a gem and not only is he amazing offensively, he is very capable defensively.

Yeah, I'll probably be switching back and forth. Gonna have to watch Gardiner skate circles around everyone.

I'm still amazed how Connor Murphy was a first rounder. He's brutal for Sarnia.

Bealieu has looked really solid so far but the rest of Hamilton's defense has just been absolutley terrible.......Tonordi hasn't looked very good. Gardiner has looked like Gardiner, very poised. Liked what I have seen from Kadri so far.

Tinordi seems to be trying to go for the hits, I thought he was going to fight though :(
