Newfoundland History Announcement

For one, my predecessors @JNH and @SDCore for giving me the honor of being the first name in this increasingly legendary list of players. It might not have quite the history that an SHL career would have, but the impact that a juniors career can have on a person, team and the league is continually underrated. To this day I still look incredibly fondly on my time in juniors and know that many of my teammates and peers also do the same given that it was the first introduction to the SHL. The person who most deserves recognition is @Sopath for their tireless efforts in spearheading this project. It has been something we have been looking to address for some time, but never seemed to find its way to the forefront in the cycle of regular season - postseason - offseason. We had immediately known who would be added to become part of this prestigious class of historic icons on the Newfoundland organizations but once again because of Sopath, it is no longer a matter of "to-do". As well with the combination of @Carpy48 and @Patty to give life to these to these fantastic banners. It is my pleasure to announce our two new introductions to the Newfoundland Berserkers Hall of Fame: ![[Image: vD29uSQ.png]](https://imgur.com/vD29uSQ.png) ![[Image: vf8dQd8.png]](https://i.imgur.com/vf8dQd8.png) Both @leafsftw1967 and @Wally were key members in Newfoundland's first 4 Star Cup back in S55 as well as setting outstanding records of their own. Soap's work is a testament worth reading. Congratulations to the both of them as they continue their SHL careers! Thank you for this incredible honour! To this day my favorite seasons in the league has been with the Berserkers and that S55 team was one of the best to ever be in the juniors. I'll be a Berserk for life
