I apologize in advance for all the rants I will have in a moment but god damn this project took the last out of me.

I did this in other leagues, the PBE and the ISFL already and comparatively those went swiftly. The main issues here are: 1) On the awards history page, championships are counted as awards, so even though I personally disagree with that distinction, I added it to my project which added like 500 players to this and 2) THE FUCKING SEARCH FUNCTION ONLY WORKS ONCE PER MINUTE WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT.

Also regarding the search function, this league is ancient, as we all know, but it leads to some glaring issues when doing a project like this. Many of the S1 to S5ish players are threads that were from a previous forum and so are either lost or were posted by someone else (HO or whatnot) and so finding out who the actual user was is very difficult. And also secondly because of how long this league has lasted, there is a good amount of players that has since changed usernames.

Also, to continue with this ranting, there are like a ridiculous amount of users that need to find a more unique username or something. We somehow have Secord and Secord92, Smirnov and Smirnov Light, tweedlebrunn and tweedledunn and somehow all of these are different people (as far as I can tell?). Also we had several players that had the same name as another player, sometimes even within ONE SEASON of each other. Absolutely outrageous.

Now, after my initial ranting is over, I guess I should explain what I even did for those unaware of this series.

Basically, I went through every single award ever won and wrote down which player won it. Then I went through the less than helpful search function - and after that didn't really work cause it takes a minute to wait - all the retired player roster pages, as well as current ones, then back to the search function for anyone i missed - and wrote down which player was which user.

So now, after weeks of working on the data collection portion of it and finding usernames, I basically have a full list of every award every user has won.

Some comments though before I present the data:

There are 100% going to be mistakes in here. Like I described, this process was arduous at best and there are definitely errors in it. There are likely users with two different names that should be combined, if you do happen to find any errors please do pm them to me on discord.

So congratulations to @fever95 who has won an astonishing 28 awards all time. And this won't be the last category lead by fever either. I guess that's what having THREE hall of fame players will do for you!

Near the top we see other big names in SHL history. McZehrl obviously had some big name players too. My friend @Evok is always one of the best users in these leagues. I also recognize some other big names like @Leafs4ever and more. Still, some of it definitely surprised me. I guess I was not aware of the SHL history as well as I thought.

Like I said, a much shorter list, but once more the top 3 is basically the same, with fever crushing the rest of the competition. Some other people rise up a bit with less titles won than others, guys like Lunaro who has won one title. GCool is the highest player on this list now who didn't win a single title, so much higher than he was previously.

Similarly to championships I am also torn on the awards that are given out to people for having the most of something (most points, goals, penalty minutes). It feels like those aren't really awards but more just leading a category. We also often have the same person leading in goals and points and winning MVP, for example. So next, I look at the most awards if we take out championships and those stat awards:

We reduce the list further but yet once again fever sits at the top and it's very impressive. But now the places behind fever are different. JackCross and Leafs4ever suddenly are in 2nd place. Very cool to see movement here and some changes.

Something I had looked at in other leagues was how many different awards a user had won. For this purpose I once again count everything to see who has won in the most different categories:

Fever once again at the top. So let's look in detail. Fever has won 3 championships, 1 Ron Mexico, 1 Jeff Dar, 2 Anton Razovs, 8 McBrides!, 1 Khan, 1 Karpotsov, 1 McDonald, 2 Fergusons, 6 Honchos and 2 Littletons. Honestly I think it's time that Fever gets the Onoprienko award as well based on all of what I am seeing.
