For some reason the first song that popped into my head reading this task was "Get Off Of My Cloud" by The Rolling Stones. The lyrics go like this:

Oof this one is going to be tough for me. I'm not a "music gets me hyped" kinda guy. Though I've been partial to the crappy disco music that Sconnie brought to the locker room. Have an excerpt of Disco Duck by Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots:

I had to think about this for a while, because there are tons of good ones out there. In the end I picked the song "PTtee" by a band called DeeExpus. Not only is the song itself quite good, if you like prog rock, but it is dedicated to my favorite band (Porcupine Tree) and the lyrics are actually about someone attending a Porcupine Tree (=PT) concert and it's full of references that you only get if you actually know PT. Very meta.

The "Major Tom" song is a personal favorite of mine, even if the lyrics are a bit gut-wrenching at the end, but it's probably more of the way it is sung:

I'm not sure if this is a song lyric, but it's definitely my favorite poem. It really captures the essence and meaning of life.

Pretty much anything Eminem's ever said in a diss track, but the best one was against Benzino when he said "Will somebody please tell whoever braids his head that I am not afraid of this fuckin' waste of lead on my pencil" Imagine being a waste of lead on a rapper's pencil. Ouch.
