7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube
The first steam that I had a chance to  watch was the second day of season sixty five preseason, I wasn’t too stressed about how my player performed because the update hasn’t gone through yet and I have 75 TPE banked and ready to spend. And literally anything would be better than  Emil’s first day of preseason where he went 0/0/0 and -4. The first game was against the Kelowna KNights, it was very… green. But holy shit, the stream is really fast, it’s tough to keep up. We lost after an incredibly quick over time period but I had an even +/- so there’s that. I even managed to get a shot on goal. Huzzah! The second game was against St. Louis and was much more eventful , for them. We lost 7-1. And for anyone worried that I might not top my -4 from yesterday - I finished with a -3 so there’s a good chance. Thanks for being concerned.

RD Liam Karlson

Task 1

Task 2 - Claim An Activity Check

Task 3 - Free Training

Task 4 - My First PT!

Task 5 - Create A Graphic

Task 6 - Will be done nearer to the end of the season, nothing I have in mind to write about right now.

Task 7:
The stream that I watched was the one titled "medal games" in the IIHF channel. The game I watched and am going to talk about is the one in which Japan faces Canada (or at least that is what i saw in the live chat). The Canadians held Japan without a shot up till there was 7 minutes left in the period, during which Japan got their first shot on goal. The first period ended goalless, with Canada outshooting their Japanese counterparts 11-5. The second period then started and the Canadians, who have been dominating from the start of the game, took only 2 minutes to get on the board, courtesy of Lyde Odelein III. The Japanese team finally eclipsed 10 shots with 7 minutes left to go in the second. Odelein then scored another one to put himself a goal away from the hat trick but Ryu Jones cut the deficit back to one with a shot of his own. Disisde Dayudie then became the hero of the game, as he equalised the game with a goal with 3 minutes left to go in the period. At the start of the third period, Devin Basher only took 3 minutes to get his country back in front. Sarah Burke then scored to try and put the game out of the Japanese's reach. Basher added another and that just made it even harder for Japan to mount a comeback. Aaron Wilson was also eager to put his name on the scoreboard, adding another with less than half the period remaining. The game ended in a 6-2 win for the Canadians, and a third place finish in the competition.

Task 8 - Complete Rookie Survey

7 tasks for 7 mil, just 1 more to go and you'll get the 1m bonus for completing all tasks. Make sure you make a new post when you're ready to do it. -Vulf

6. Write a Deep Dive [NOTE: This task is only claimable once the first preseason stream for the SHL/SMJHL concludes, as per the Deep Dive Rules and Guidelines]
Done

7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube
-To verify, please do one of the following and post it in your rookie tasks claim:
      - Write 150 words about the games that happened during the stream

I watched the Game of Nevada Battleborn vs. Vancouver Whalers. It was very onesided with Nevada amassing 19 shots on goal compared to Vancouvers measly 3. in the first period alone. However it would take nearly till the end of the period for the first score by Nevada. Defender Lonely Stagan puts Nevada on the board.
This is where things seem to heat up as Nevada comes out of the gate blazing, putting 36 on the Whalers goal, scoring two times. A spark of hope still remains as Vancouver manages to make their presence known late in 2nd with their first goal. In the end this point shall only be for the honor of them,  since Nevada rides away with a pretty much uncontested 5-1 win. Not a great game by Backup Goaltender who tended the net for Vancouver. 3 stars are crowned and none of them plays for the Whalers. The top line of Nevada gets crowned, rightfully so.

With this all rookie tasks are done. See here for the other tasks.

Graded!! +3Million for tasks 6 and 7 and that sweet sweet bonus! - SewingWithNancy

4. PT Completed
7. The stream I watched (and decided to finally write about since I've watched a good bit of them lol) was day 23 of the season. The first game was Anchorage v. Colorado. Anchorage took an early lead in the first period, but fell apart afterwards, losing the game 5-2. St. Louis and Kelowna followed up with a combined 11 goals in their game, with a 6-5 score (hope you took the over in that one). The Malamutes headed to Quebec City for their next game, and followed Anchorage's lead, cashing in on an early scoring opportunity. Yukon followed trend and lost the early lead, losing in a tight contest at 4-3. Carolina took to the road all the way to Nevada. Nevada tucked one in half way through the first, and followed it up quickly with a second goal less than a minute after. The BattleBorn finished the period with a whopping three goal lead. Nevada could have finished the game with only one goal scored, as they put on one of the greatest defensive performances of all time only allowing 10 shots on goal the entire game in their 6-0 shutout win.

Graded! @narb111 +2 Million for tasks 4 and 7 - SewingWithNancy
