Player Prompt:
Until last season, it being his first season in any kind of pro league, Luka was extremely shy in the locker room. He would be that guy sitting in the corner and listening to music or saying something to himself but not to any of the other players. The incident that changed his attitude for the rest of his rookie season happened around midseason. As usual, he was sitting in the corner, listening to a podcast, when suddenly, a fight broke out in the locker room. It was over an extremely petty thing and because Luka was early for the game, there were only 3 players in the locker room. He and the fightees. Now, the fight kept going on but now Luka was fed up. He told them to shut the f up and told them something philosophical. The two players started laughing on his 'speech' and told him to chill and that these sort of small things were common. These three became good friends and slowly Luka started socializing with everybody. He is now a prankster and a 'pest' in the locker room but in a good way. He won't snow the goalie or something, but you should expect him to prank a teammate or maybe another player once in a while(or more). Like once, he put snow in another player's locker so when he opened it, he was all snow and everybody had a good laugh. Another time, he put balloons in a teammate's driver seat so when they all went on a group ride it popped underneath him. That was funny.
It is not beneath Jaska Seppala of the Buffalo Stampede to be a pest. Jaska Seppala absolutely loves doing that and getting under the skin of his opponents. Jaska Seppala does all the classic with being a pest. He puts his stick infront of the goalies face mask so that it is difficult for the goalie to see, he checks players after the whistle is blown dead to try and draw penalties. Jaska Seppala loves trash talking as well to try and get the other team agitated. There are times where it really works especially against the Buffalo Stampede rivals. There have been talks about how Jaska Seppala should stop doing that especially since he is an old man not but Jaska finds so much joy in doing that and watch opponents heads explode. I do not think he has any plans on stopping and could possible be researching more ways to be a pest
Thank you Brandon, Fish, GeckoeyGecko, Karey, Kit, takethehorizon, and Ragnar for the sigs!
Iskandrov likes to play a two way gritty game, and since he's on the first line, it tends to mean that he gets matched up against some of the best players in the simulation major junior hockey league. Iskandrov likes to rough up the opposing teams stars a little bit, a very very slightly late hit there, snowing the goalie here, and maybe slashing some legs after a play. The idea is to get under the skin and force the opponents to play off their game, in the sense that they're more likely to do the wrong thing as in bobble the puck, or do a late slash, resulting in either a goal or a drawn penalty for Iskandrov. Winding down the third, when everyone is tired from skating, Iskandrov still has plenty of energy to whittle and grind away at whatever energy they have left. Its a blend of old school and new school you could say
I don't think anyone enjoys being down late, especially to the rivals in your division. There are many ways to go about kicking your team into high gear to finish strong. You could go out and get chippy and get under the skin of your opponent. You can also fire your team up with a big heartfelt speech. The way Lesgo does it is through grit and by example. He would go out and hustle and make a huge hit to get the other team to notice. The way to really make an impact on the game is to show your teammates there is still something to work for. The game is never over and you need to work for every second of the game no matter the score. So you can go out there and make a big hit or flashy deke maybe shoot one top shelf to close the gap. Lesgo would be one to show example to his team to motivate them to kick it in gear the last half period.
There's some good pest behaviour, in my opinion, and some that's not. I'm not a fan of things like snowing the goalie, or dumping water in equipment. That's just disrespectful, to the goalie you're essentially just throwing snow in his or her face, it's just an asshole move and realistically won't get under their skin most of the time. Same with water in the equipment. But some trolling stuff, like trying to throw off someone's routine, or a little nudge on the ice or something. Like a guy sticking around after the warmup, to stop someone else who's got a superstition about being the last one off the ice. Or if someone drops their stick on the ice, knock it a little bit further away from them. Keep the physical stuff to on the ice, regular play stuff, and play some mental games between the whistles and before the game. Fuck with their superstitions. But don't just dump water in their gear, or on them or anything.
Although I'm a goalkeeper, I love to annoy the anti-nuggets and look for new ways to disrupt their balanced game. I can slap an opponent at any time, if necessary, and the judges mostly don't notice it. It is, of course, harder to disturb your opponents, but word phrases can break them out of the rhythm, and they come out after each other. I'd say more that I'm a mixed-type goalkeeper, both old time and modern time. I like sharpness and I'll be happy to defend my teammates, but at the same time it's times when I want to catch my game and not get involved too often. In general, already looking at the performance of our team as well as the style of play, I can say that we are already pursuing an aggressive game with which we have reached the top of the league. But of course, it doesn't go without games that need to break the game for opponents.
That is absolutely my music. Blouin has become a bit of a resident tough guy on tampa bay, he was not really built to be this kind of player but it is the role the team has set out for him, so naturally when the team is struggling with chemistry and they need that burst of energy when they are down 5 to 2 Blouin gets the nod. Luc Blouin was drafted to be a dynamic two way D who plays a complete game, but so far he has acted as more of a tough guy enforcer type, taking players to task and slamming body checks to keep his team in it. With Blouin reaching peak development soon I suspect he will start being used in a different manner, taking more advantage of his abilities outside of checking and hitting, but we will see what happens over the next few seasons, maybe he will get back to the role that was expected of him at the draft.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser lives to be a pest on the ice. He takes a leaf out of some of the sporting greats including Shannon Sharpe, who famously managed to rile up cheifs Derrick Thomas by reciting his girlfriends phone number back to him on plays.
Hundertwasser tried this for a while before it became apparent that nobody knows their girlfriends phone number in a day and age where smartphones prevail. So all he was doing was spitting out random numbers at people who only got confused and baffled.
He took this a step into the future by taking it to the online realm.
He started sliding into the DMs of his oppositions partners. This is usually the easiest way to rile up the opposition. But if the partner doesn't reply he instead just comments on all of their social media posts through the past 4 or 5 years. He is a complete and utter pest.

Hockey Prompt
Of course Makrus thinks irritation tactics are allowed in hockey. Hockey is as much of a mental game as it is physical. Except way more physical. You often have to snow a goalie to show your dominants on the ice. If you are not getting into the opponents heads then you aren’t trying. Makrus specializes in taunting players when they get hit. Makrus doesn’t get his hands dirty but he has Sven and Pasta to deliver the big hits. Makrus just makes sure the player knows to get good and comfy down there on the ice. Sometimes it happens to be a teammate but Makrus is an equal opportunity shit talker. There of course is a line. You can taunt someone without being disrespectful. You can always call someone bad at hockey. You should never insult someone’s race, gender/identity, sexual orientation, or mother. That’s just poor form and has no place in hockey. Hockey players that want to cross that line deserve to be kicked out of the sport.
Disisde Dayudie of the Chicago Syndicate would probably do something that would be considered more than a prank. During the game, he would just try to not be worthless like he usually is, but the real thing would come AFTER the game. Where he would create multiple Twitter accounts and start trolling the players he dislikes the most on the rival team. Also, he wouldn't just make up some random names, he would make sure to find out all their idols and favorite actors, favorite bands and comedians as well. Then he would go ahead with his scheme, where he buys followers for all of them and actually manage to get them accepted as official accounts. Then he would just go full blast on them with all accounts he's made, telling them how trash they are, that they're ugly, that they should die(Yes there is no stopping the hate train). That would probably take a little while but next season, they're wrecks. mission accomplished, don't mess with the syndicate dimbi ass h*e.
